Let’s thank God and celebrate the Trump administration’s announcement that it will be withholding tens of millions of dollars from Planned Parenthood. Janet Porter, pioneer of the Heartbeat Bill advancing in 20+ states, tells us that in the past year, over 25,000 babies have been spared in Florida since adopting this legislation! She said, “This isn’t infringing on women’s rights but protecting human life!”

Removing rabid pro-abortionists Joe and Jill Biden, along with Kamala, from their political platforms now brings potential for even greater victories with Trump’s conservatives on the Supreme Court. Vice President Vance’s direct involvement in the annual March for Life in DC was also a strong statement to America.

Let’s remain persistent in prayer and political involvement, remembering, “These six things the Lord hates… hands that shed innocent blood” (Prv. 6:16-17).

Sad News

For the past decades, the most celebrated poster person for the abortion industry was Cecile Richards. She was president of Planned Parenthood for 12 years, pushing abortion on demand as a so-called “woman’s right to reproductive freedom.”

Did you know her life ended abruptly and tragically about 100 days ago from brain cancer? She was 67, wealthy, and residing in Manhattan. Ironically, she departed to give an account before Jesus, the “Author of Life” a few ,days away from the date pro-aborthat tionists commemorate the infamous Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion on demand. It’s also the same day 100,000 gather on the mall in DC, celebrating the sanctity of life with the annual March for Life. I’ve attended many times with my family, and it is a glorious event now, including remarks from our President!

If you are among the scores who did not know of her passing or are unaware of important facts about the organization she led, here are some fact-based realities.

Planned Parenthood

The organization was founded by Margaret Sanger, a eugenicist who believed populations should be improved by eliminating “inferiors” (minorities) whom she labeled “human weeds.” She was a major influence in the life of maniacal murderer, Adolf Hitler.

Planned Parenthood reports reveal approximately 350,000 to 390,000 abortions annually; abortions made up approximately 95–97% of their “services.” They performed approximately 228 abortions for every one adoption; income for 2022–2023 was over $2 billion!

My Divine Appointment with Ms. Richards

A few years back, I engaged with Cecile Richards when she came to Nashville to cheerlead abortion and promote her new book, Trouble Maker. I’ve prayed for her family in her death and invite you to do likewise.

Approximately 300 people came out to hear her. The crowd was about 95% women who paid $35 to receive a copy of her book. The security at Vanderbilt University was extremely tight. Bulletproof-vested police combed the lobby and there were police dogs ready. Some questions, submitted in advance, were allowed.

Some women wore T-shirts with slogans emphasizing their steely feminism. Signs said “I Stand with Planned Parenthood” to show support for “the most trusted health care provider in America.” Safe-sex leaflets and free condoms were available.

Securing in advance the support of intercessors, I made my way into the auditorium and situated myself in the first row, only feet away from Cecile Richards. She spoke for one hour, delivering a “seductive and chilling” presentation. It was mass deception.

So What Did She Say?

She acknowledged she had an abortion at a time when a pregnancy would have been inconvenient for her. Her “greatest fear was that abortion could become a state issue,” where some states could actually stand in the way of what we know is the dismemberment and chemical poisoning of babies in the womb. She referred to this as “women’s health care” and “reproductive rights.”

She mentioned that her mother was a housewife until she “found the women’s movement.” Then, the family was part of the “Unitarian church where progressives could meet” there in backwards, conservative Texas.

Cecile got bit by the bug to engage in changing the world, and of course, that eventually led to her taking the presidency of Planned Parenthood. To rousing applause she stated emphatically, “I will be fighting for reproductive rights rather than selling tacos, even if I’m 80 in a nursing home!”

To listen to Cecile Richards, one would think that Planned Parenthood and its philosophy is the solution to the bulk of America’s problems. In her closing words, she emphasized the importance of “investing in the next generation with 4 million young people turning 18 every year” and “the days are numbered for those in power” who beg to differ with her.

She presents a glowing picture in which “99 million people visit their website” and even “FOX News had to admit they’re the most popular organization in the country.” During her tenure it’s estimated she proudly presided over 35 million abortions.

Lies, Lies and More Lies

Sitting just feet away from this woman, I was convinced that she was absolutely convinced amidst her delusion. She was radically committed to investing in the next generation so Planned Parenthood’s schemes could continue unabated.

David Daleiden of the Center for Medical Progress that exposed Planned Parenthood’s harvesting of baby body tissue for cash, said, “Cecile Richards was the most devoted practitioner of Planned Parenthood’s ‘out of sight, out of mind’ mantra to cover up their barbaric abortion business from the public. … The secret is out that Planned Parenthood is a tax payer-sponsored crime syndicate of industrial-scale child killing, and even Cecile Richards could no longer put a friendly spin on it.”

Let’s remember what God tells us in sacred Scripture, “Open your mouth for the speechless in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy” (Prov. 31:8-9).

Here’s the deal: Cecile Richards is gone but her organization continues deceiving masses, especially young females. As “salt” let’s keep praying and persevering in proclaiming the gospel and truth until one day each of us, like Cecile, will stand to give an account before our Lord Jesus.
