Do You Need Good News?
Intercessor, do you find yourself weary? I don’t mean tired of praying; it is what we have signed up for. Do you find yourself longing for a glimmer of hope amidst a divided nation and lengthy state battles? I recently spoke with Hannah Sailsbury of Bibles In Schools and was blessed to hear how God is moving in public schools and how little lives are being impacted by the Word of God. If you need encouragement today, I pray this brings you joy and fresh hope.

So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it (Isaiah 55:11 AMPC).
Here are some testimonies you won’t hear about in the local media.
- A middle school librarian reported that she is filled with joy when she sees young boys wanting to read the Action Bible and Christian storybooks, which also present the gospel message and share the love of Jesus with children.
- In California, one librarian shared a story of a student drastically changed by reading the Bible. This young boy was in and out of suspension due to problematic behavior. He began to read the Bible at school, and God did a miracle. He loved reading the Action Bible so much that he asked his parents to attend church. He now wears a cross necklace. He stopped getting in trouble. The librarian and administration saw the complete turnaround in his life. The Bible is the only book he reads in the library.
- An elementary librarian in Wisconsin shared, “I’m an elementary school librarian at three schools. A 6-year-old boy was scanning the shelves when his eyes landed on the Bible. Excitedly, he held the book up and shouted, “I found Jesus!” in the most joyful, surprised voice ever! Then, he asked me, “Do you know Jesus?” I replied, “Yes, I do.” He ran over and hugged me, saying he knew I had Jesus in my heart because I love to smile and laugh. And there I was, crying. That sweet little one was showing his book to everyone, asking his classmates if they knew Jesus, too. These books are THE most checked out books in our library. Our Spanish students truly love them as well.”
Bible Studies Are Happening Now!
- A librarian in Louisiana said, “I love your books! I cannot keep the Bibles or the storybooks on the shelves. The kids love them. Thanks to your Bibles in Schools program, we now have Bible study groups. The Action Bible and the NIV Action Study Bible are a massive hit for older kids. She started ordering in September. Over 25 teachers in that school ordered, too, for their classrooms.
- “DADS ARE READING THE BIBLES”—In one month, three librarians from different states asked their students why they had not returned the Bible, and they said it was because their dad was reading it!
- “GOD DID IT AGAIN”-In February 2025, librarians posted about us on a Facebook page, which gained lots of attention. In less than two weeks, we received over 120 orders from public schools nationwide and shipped over 1,200 Action Bibles and Christian books!
- Over 20,000 engaging Bibles and Christian books have been donated to public school libraries!
- A librarian in Illinois works at one of the poorest schools in the state. It’s hard, but since we have donated engaging Bibles, she believes God has her there for Bibles in Schools. In her 15 years of working at this school, this is the most students have come to her talking about God. They even named it “The God Section,” where the Bibles are. Students are coming in asking where the God Section is.
Hebrews 11:1 says, faith is the substance of things hoped for, and evidence of things not seen.
We won’t always know the answer to everything we pray for, but faith tells us, “Blessed are those who have not seen but believed.” We don’t have to see it to believe it. We simply believe that if God said it, it will come to pass. We may not hear on the media that God is moving in children’s hearts because they are reading the Bible at school, but it is happening. Take heart, intercessor, God is moving! His Word will never return void. Because seeds are being planted in these tiny hearts, we can be assured that we will reap a harvest in due time. If you were as encouraged as I am, let’s pray.
Father,
We thank You and praise You for the gift of the Bible and our freedom to read Your Living Word daily. We praise You for how You are working through Bibles In Schools and ask that You continue to bless this ministry, pressed down, shaken together, and running over with overflow that can’t be contained. We praise You for the transformation in schools nationwide and the good fruit, every time a child checks out the Bible from a school library. Bring a Bible revival to every school across America. Let these little ones who are hungry find Jesus in the storybooks and Bibles and continue to share Him with their peers and families. We pray for teachers, librarians, and administration to come to Jesus through seeing the testimony of transformed children and families. We know you can do it, and we believe in it, in Jesus’ name, amen.
Were you encouraged by what God is doing? How will you be praying?

Excellent story of hope happening with our children and parents & all involved at Bibles in Schools program! Love you Lord!!!!🌵❤️☦️🇺🇸
May the one who is able increase the desire to know Jesus through this book. Can I share my story ? When I was a young mother, I wanted to bring the Word of God into our home. I was raised Catholic and schooled in my faith, very thankful for routes, but did not know how to bring The Word into our home. I shared this desire with my husband and had asked the Lord for direction. We started to take one book from the Bible and every night read a chapter with discussion after, and over the years read through many times the Bible. My husband made a point of if we missed a night we would just continue the next night. We had five children and of course a busy schedule, but our children grew to have a respect for His Word. We did not know how to start, but God showed us the way and He will show all how to bring His Word back into our homes. I pray God will do it again for this nation “renew them in our day” as You have done in the past. You are God and able to restore Your Word into our homes and schools once again.
Praise God Almighty!!!
This brought a smile to my face, and tears to my eyes!! No doubt the BEST news I’ve heard/read in a long time. It’s too bad this isn’t spoken of by our news medias.
Thank you for sharing this and may God bless you and your work… AND may He continue to bless the children! How precious and wonderful!!!

Lord, we thank You for this good report. Father, I ask that the act of placing these Bibles in school libraries would grow like a wildfire. I ask that children in our nation would not only be exposed to Your Truth, but also receive Him who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. His Name is Jesus. Revival in our schools come. Bless Gloria for bringing such good news to us. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Father, thank for the move of Bibles in School. Let your word get into the hearts of these precious young people, that it would spring up into everlasting life.. Bless and keep the librarians who bring used by you. We bless You Lord and thank for your WORD going forth! Amen!
My awesome God, I thank you for even giving me the opportunity to know and understand the richness and beauty of heaven. Assist me in my pursuit of good and help me be generous rather than greedy, as your son was for all of humanity. I pray that I can be a humble servant of yours by giving the treasure of my life in service to your name. Amen.
