Even as the Trump administration is working to stop transgender treatments for minors, some states are doubling down. Colorado, for example, recently introduced a bill that would make correctly identifying a gender-confused minor a form of child abuse.

There has been an ever-growing identity crisis in our modern society(ies). I have wondered, YHVH, if it is partly or wholly rooted in a great deal of confusion regarding Your identity. If we don’t know who You are, how can we know ourselves, for we are created in Your image. I am gravely concerned about this when I hear people who claim to be “believers” saying things about You that are primarily based on personal opinion, spiritual ‘experiences’ (though some may be valid), cherry-picked Scripture verses, religious traditions, doctrines of man, etc. The whole counsel of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation as revealed by Holy Spirit, and knowing Yeshua, Himself – the God/man – is the only legitimate and accurate basis for knowing who You truly are. For He is “the express image” of His Father. Yeshua and the early body of Messiah are two of the most tragic victims of “identity theft” in our time. He and they have been stripped of their Jewishness, and today bear little resemblance to their accurate identities. Forgive us, Abba, for not pursuing You diligently enough to get to the “heart of the matter” – Your true identity. Only then will we truly know ourselves.
The Enemy has no gender; and wishes to cross out the two genders that mark humankind from our creation forward. The Enemy shall ultimately fail in this attempt; and those in the Colorado leadership that have attempted to pass this bill shall be held to account before the throne of the Almighty.

LORD, may there be a CLEAR opening of eyes to Your truth, that man was created BY YOU, IN YOUR IMAGE, MALE AND FEMALE. You did not create us, Your children to be confused or unclear as to who You created us to be. Therefore, the lies of the enemy are exposed with this false narrative that gender is up for question, that it may be chosen, disregarded. You created the family as father and mother, with the father and mother to be the authority over the children and NOT the government or school.
Heavenly Father, Please rescue us in Colorado out from under our pagan legislature. Bind the forces of the enemy, redirect their resources for your righteous purpose. Uphold those in our state government who are standing against this evil. May your will be done. In Jesus’ name

So, Lord, we pray that Your Truth prevails in the hearts and minds of people in positions of power responsible for making these laws in Colorado and in other states. Protect confused children who are being preyed upon for political purposes in our culture from the irreversible damage done to them through trans treatments and surgeries in the name of freedom or of being “their authentic selves.” Lord, let Your truth set them free – set us all free to be who You created us to be. Protect the rights of parents and give them Your wisdom as to how to help their children not to believe the lies of the enemy of our souls – ie. that they were born in the wrong body.
