Hamas to Free Last Living American Hostage
Hamas has agreed to free Edan Alexander, the last living American hostage. This is a huge answer to our prayers but also a reminder to stay focused as we pray for the freedom of every remaining hostage.
From Fox News. Hamas agreed Friday to release Edan Alexander, the last living American hostage inĀ captivity in the Gaza Strip.

Alexander, a 21-year-oldĀ Israeli-American,Ā will be released along with the bodies of four other hostages, according to a deal offered by mediators. As of Friday, Alexander has been held captive for 525 days, the Hostages and Missing Families Forum said.
The bodies that will be released are of dual-national hostages, the Associated Press reported. It’s unclear when the transfer will happen, but it comes as talks are ongoing in Qatar to establish the next phase of the Israel-Hamas ceasefire …
Though he spent most of his life in New Jersey, Alexander was born in Israel a few months before his parents moved to the U.S., according to the American Jewish Committee (AJC).
After graduating from high school, Alexander decided he would enlist in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) rather than enroll in college.
On Oct. 7, Alexander, who was serving in the IDFās Golani Brigade, an infantry unit, was patrolling near Gaza when Hamasā attacks on Israel began. The attacks ended with 1,200 Israelis dead and 251 hostages taken, including Alexander. …
Trump warned Hamas earlier this month to “Release all of the Hostages now, not later, and immediately return all of the dead bodies of the people you murdered, or it is OVER for you.” …

Dear Lord, I thank you for the release of Edan. I pray he is be back in Israel as I type this prayer. This war began with the horrific attack by Hamas, and Lord you hammer of justice needs to fall on this terrorist group. Your justice is what I ask for, and the return of any and all hostages to Israel. Please Lord may the fear of you fall on Hamas, and may your light fill all of Israel. May the World witness your justice and your mercy and be filled with the fear of the Lord. In Jesus’ holy name I pray.
Lord, thank you for this hostage release as we continue to plead for the release of all other hostages held by Hamas. In your divine wisdom, cause the release of the remaining hostages to happen soon, and the removal of all Hamas jihadists to North Africa, by promoting the negotiations already in progress. Help the Israelis return to their northern homes near the Lebanese border and let the Peace of God descend over their territory. We thank you for the wonderful gift of your Word, preserved by your chosen people for 2,000 years, so that we can know you, Lord of Life. Amen
