I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we thank You for bringing revival to America. We pray that, as the Chiefs prepare once again to compete in Super Bowl, You would bring every man, woman, and child to You!
Reading Time: 3 minutes

Decades ago, Bob Jones prophesied that a Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl win would be followed by “end-time revival.” Then, in February 2023, the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win was followed by revivals around the nation, most notably one that began at Asbury University. As they return to the big game, the team is looking toward the Lord.

From CBN. The Kansas City Chiefs are heading to Super Bowl LIX to face off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. As the team prepares for its seventh Super Bowl appearance in franchise history, the wife of the Chief’s owner is pointing to something even more significant, recently sharing how it is nothing but the hand of God that has gotten them this far.

Have you taken your place on the wall?

Tavia Hunt reflected in a post on Instagram that she is heading into football’s biggest night of the year filled with gratitude, amazed at all that God has done. …

She says what many people are seeing with the Chiefs this season is the highlight reel, but God brought them through a very dark season.

“In 2012, we were broken—winning only 2 games and facing an unimaginable tragedy,” she wrote. “It was a humbling, desperate season, and we had nowhere to turn but to God. That brokenness brought us to total dependence on the One who holds it all.”

Chiefs’ owner and CEO Clark Hunt inherited the team from his father, Lamar Hunt. … The Chiefs won their first Super Bowl championship in 1970, but they would end up waiting five decades before their next big chance. …

During that 50-year “dark season,” a Christian prophet named Bob Jones prophesied the Chiefs would one day win the Super Bowl again, and when it finally happened, it would be a “sign of end-time revival.” …

Tavia Hunt got wind of the prophecy in 2019. …

And everything changed for the team in 2020 when the Chiefs overcame a double-digit deficit to beat the San Francisco 49ers in a stunning win that bolstered the team’s notoriety.

“Since that victory, we’ve witnessed incredible revival across this country and the world. College and NFL players are boldly proclaiming their faith, and there is an incredible revival happening on college campuses (see Unite_US). God is on the move, life is short, and we know that we are to use this platform for His glory,” she said.

As CBN News reported, just days before the Chiefs won another Super Bowl in February of 2023, a collegiate revival broke out as Asbury University, kicking off a wave of revival moments at campuses and churches around the U.S. that’s still ongoing. …

Hunt adds for the players it is about so much more than football. As CBN News reported, her husband has always aimed to make Christian faith a part of the Chief’s culture.

The Kansas City Chiefs stadium has a chapel service for people at the games and chaplains are a part of the Chiefs and FC Dallas organizations, he told the Tyler Morning Telegraph in 2019.

“We want our employees to develop spiritually,” Hunt said. “In the National Football League, Christ is really glorified. My identity is my faith in Christ.” …

Inappropriate to post this the day before the game. The chiefs already won, and revival already started. Father, may we all clothe ourselves in humility in our dealings with one another just as Jesus did. Thank you for working in us to will and do your good pleasure…. to co-labor with Christ for your harvest of souls and make disciples, to be lights in darkness, to manifest your agape love and increase your kingdom. I declare You will do this in and through us no matter who wins the super bowl, in Jesus name.

Ps. 146
Praise the lord, o my soul..
I will Praise the lord all my life:
I will sing Praise to my God as long as I live.
Do not put your trust in princes, in moral men, who can not save. When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that every day their plans come to nothing.
Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, the maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything that is in them, the Lord, who remains faithful forever. He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, the Lord gives sight to the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous. The Lord watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless A nd the widow, but He frustrates the ways of the wicked. The Lord reigns forever, your God, o Zion, for all generations. Praise the Lord. Amen
Msy Jesus’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven ❤️ May Jesus send Warrior Angels to this game on Sunday, and protect President Trump, etc.
May each person in the US, , die to Self, and let Jesus take control of their lives. In Jesus’s name Amen

Something jumped out at me as I read this. The KC Chiefs first Super Bowl win was in 1970, the year of the great spontaneous revival at Asbury College, now university, that went around the clock. We only left Hughes Auditorium to eat a quick bite of food, or sleep a few hours. Isn’t it interesting that their first Super Bowl win was just before the great revival at Asbury which spanned the globe in the following 20 years; and the Chiefs second Super Bowl just preceded Asbury’s next glorious visitation that brought 50,000 people to the tiny town of Wilmore! Tomorrow will be a cosmic showdown, undoubtedly. The horns of hell will try to kidnap women and children in sex trafficking. Other expressions of darkness will happen. But the superior forces of the armies of heaven have been marshal not only by Almighty God, but by the praying warriors here on earth. Over for us to see beyond the conflict in the stadium to the conflict in the heavens above. Victory in Jesus!

Father, we pray that You would lift up the voices of the faithful followers of Jesus on both teams. Let revival breakout in this nation. May the trafficked women, men and children be freed from the sex trade that takes place during this game. Block the demonic entertainment and commercials.Free the captives and may Your Holy Spirit burn out the dross of Your people.

As a devoted IFA partner and Jesus follower I pray continually for revival in our great nation. However, I must let you know that Bob Jones was accused of and confessed to – sexual improprieties while using his gifts . He was removed from duties. I was very familiar with the Kansas City prophets at the time. Sadly, the hidden sins of this group are still being revealed. The truth of the matter should be told , so as not to sully the gospel of Jesus Christ .

You have the wrong Bob Jones. Do your homework. Bob Jones from Kansas City was a very humble Godly man.

That is the right Bob Jones and he did fall into some sexual sin before he died. However, as we all know God has and still does use fallen, broken and sinful people to accomplish his purposes. Knowing Bob
… he had a good heart and he spoke that word when the Chiefs were really struggling. So bad that it was unbelievable at the time but gave us hope in another SB and revival.

I am very proud to be a 60+ year Chiefs fan because of the leadership of the organization … the Hunt family. Lamar & Norma laid the groundwork to allow God to do what He is doing today in that organization. Clark & Tavia have picked up that mantel and faithfully carried it forward. My prayer is the NFL would follow suit and flee from their woke and prideful ways allow the Holy Spirit to flood their platform of influence. It’s happening through more players today but I pray for a FULL OUT BLITZ on the kingdom of darkness by the NFL … ushering in the Ultimate Super Bowl … that Lamar Hunt, not surprisingly, envisioned and named.

This is amazing story however they need to look at the character of some of their players. Organizations including pro football teams need to hire on talent and character that aligns with their beliefs, if they don’t they really don’t believe in them they simply use them for publicity.

Thank you Mrs. Hunt for using the platform God has given you. May He continue to bless you and work through you and the Chiefs organization.
Praise the Lord. Lord work through this wonderful Mrs. Hunt and the KC Chiefs. Soften the hearts of the players, coaches, refs and fans that they hear Your Word and are moved by the Holy Spirit. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:17
