Interim D.C. attorney Edward R. Martin Jr. is reportedly investigating Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer over apparent threats aimed at two Supreme Court justices.

The interim U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia may have his sights set on taking some form of legal action against Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) over widely criticized remarks he made about a pair of U.S. Supreme Court justices that sounded to many like a threat.

On Friday, Edward R. Martin, Jr. dismissed roughly 30 federal prosecutors who had been working on Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot cases over the past four years. The move is part of a broader effort to overhaul Washington’s top prosecutor’s office while preparing to expand its investigations to include leading Democratic figures and former Justice Department officials, sources close to the interim U.S. attorney told the Washington Post.
He also appeared determined to scrutinize the nation’s leading Democrat by sending what he called a “letter of inquiry” to Schumer regarding his eventually retracted remarks at a March 2020 rally, in which he claimed that two of Trump’s recently appointed Supreme Court justices, Neil M. Gorsuch and Brett M. Kavanaugh, would “pay the price” if they ruled against Roe v. Wade.
“We take threats against public officials very seriously. I look forward to your cooperation,” Martin wrote Schumer in a Jan. 21 letter obtained by The Post. …

Considering that there was an assassination attempt on Kavanaugh’s life after Schumer’s threat, I believe it’s quite clear correlation between the two, and Schumer must be held accountable.
My the Lord Bless Edward Martin Jr, for his efforts to bring Justice to the evildoers in power, and grant him Wisdom, Cunning and Resolve in the carrying out of his duties. May GOD protect and Keep him safe from all harm, as well as his family, friends and associates.
Lord, we thank You for Edward Martin, Jr. and his strong stand for justice and righteousness. Grant him wisdom and discernment from on high that he might follow Your leadership faithfully in doing his job.
Lord, we need Your intervention in our executive, legislative and judicial branches of government to bring the necessary changes overall. We thank you for every stride forward, and ask that You continue the good work You’ve begun.
IFA, I still have so many questions in regard to how our judiciary was weaponized so effectively by the previous administration against conservatives and believers. Malicious prosecution, disbarring, etc. became all too common. I would love another Constitutional Corner to bring light to ways in which some of the harm done can be perhaps be reversed.
Shalom, I go into county jails to share Christ & I have had many say “ I believe this was Gods way of getting my attention! I’m glad I’m here. Thank you for coming & sharing Yeshua Jesus with me” They obviously are not happy about their situation! But they are happy about changing with the help of Yeshua there their life to receive him and start a new! Some go onto to spend major time in prison! Somewhere there for months a year or two! Perhaps this is what Chuck Schumer needs. God is sovereign. It is ultimately up to Him. How he chooses to handle the situation He the Lord has obviously chosen to bring all the darkness of our government to the light! Because He has a plan and purpose! This is a fight against good and evil sin against God before sin against other people! It is good to pray for it Schumer’s salvation and we should! The how and the way is in the hands of the LORD! PTL for what HE IS DOING!! Only GOD DESERVES GLORY!!!
Yes and amen, Sharon! Thank you for your service in the jail system, and may your ministry be richly blessed!! I’ve been praying for those who have been imprisoned for righteousness sake – wrongfully accused and prosecuted – to be faithful to share Yeshua while incarcerated. May all those who have come to faith in Yeshua be faithful witnesses. May our jails be shaken by the message of the Gospel – the true power to set them free eternally!

We forgive, love, bless and pray for this dear man whom Jesus died to purchase with His own blood. God planned that each person would know to come to Jesus in order to eventually come home to Heaven. So easily, mankind created in God’s image is deceived or ensnared in traps. The way of escape is for whoever wants to come to Jesus and be forgiven and saved and know God loves him and or her. So, surround Charles Schumer and guide him out and through to your intention to keep him with You forever, Father God. We pray and demand in Third Heaven Authority with You O Jesus Who has all authority in Heaven and Earth that the heart’s desire of God the Father come to pass and the enemy’s lies and deception shatter from his heart and mind and that the love of God grip him and he receive that welcome and compassion and be well and truly born of the Spirit into a new birth as a new creation, accepted in the Beloved, transformed and full of joy.
Schumer should be tried and incarcerated for statements such as these !!! God bless these investigations and let truth prevail. In our savior Jesus name we pray !!!

Schumer definitely needs to be prosecuted for his threats against the Supreme Court Judges. This has bee too long in coming. NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW, especially a member of Congress. He encouraged angry citizens to carry negative signs outside the homes of these Justices. It was clearly against our l Constitution and needed to have been taken care of at the time it happened. Thank you to Edward Martin, Jr. and may God protect him in this endeavor.

God will be the final judge of those who speak with threatening intentions.
Lord I asking you today give wisdom to our leaders to stand for the true and guide them on your Word to have light to stay faithful servants of you. We asking in Jesus name. Amen.
Seanator Schumer’s langauge was reprehensible. He should have been censored by the U.S. Senate for his comments. At this point he should make a public apology to the members of the Supreme Court he threatened and also write personal letters of apology to each and every member of the Court
