Following another week of heated and contentious confirmation hearings, President Trump’s three most controversial picks seem to face an uphill battle in the Senate. Will Patel, Gabbard, and Kennedy be able to secure their confirmations? What do you think?

The FBI Director-designate’s hearing before the Judiciary Committee was far and away the most tense. The bureau has faced scandal after scandal in recent years, including widespread allegations of politicization.
While much of the hearing saw lawmakers agree on the need for a non-partisan and independent FBI, Democrats worked to paint Patel as a Trump loyalist who would invariably comply with the president’s, possibly unlawful demands.
Several Democrats, including Sens. Amy Klobuchar, Minn.; Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and Adam Schiff, D-Calif.; took exception to Patel’s work related to a recording by Jan. 6 prisoners that he had worked to promote. The trio largely pressed him on his efforts to promote the single and raise funds for the families of those incarcerated. …

The former Hawaii Democrat spent much of her hearing before the Intelligence Committee playing defense as members of her former party raised concerns over her past foreign trips. …
Her 2017 trip to Syria after which she insisted that now-ousted Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was not an enemy of the United States. The trip also came under scrutiny in light of a reported call between a Hezbollah figure and another person indicating Gabbard had met with an unidentified “big guy.”

He appeared before the Senate Finance Committee on Wednesday and subsequently fielded questions from the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee on Thursday.
Kennedy faced questions related to his past statements on vaccine efficacy, especially the measles vaccine. …

Knowing the politics of the senate members who are against these 3 nominees: Patel, Gabbard, and Kennedy, I am not surprised, but what does surprise me are the number of lies, truth twisting that these members are using against the nominees.

I believe the Democratic Senators on each of the committees we on a witch hunt to try and discredit someone largely because they were nominated by President Trump. I believe each canditate’s agenda was for a better America.
The only candidate that I am unsure of is Tulsi Gabbard, because she is Hindu and appears to be aligned with Modi, who openly attacks Christians in India, and their churches. She says she is for God and country and supports all religions as defined by the Constitution, but I am concerned that she would be in charge of all our Intelligence agencies.
I did not know Tulsi Gabbard was a Hindu. Though we may wish every member of our government was a Bible believing Christian or Jew, is this becoming just a litmus test for holding office?
Lord, we the people gave Trump a mandate when we voted him in. Lord we ask that you would expose the evil that is deep within each of these cabinets. Lord you are just and I trust you will place these nominees where they need to be and give them the authority to lead in the way you would have them lead. Lord protect them and their families and lord cover them with your favor and protection.
I support each strongly and believe they will lead with integrity and selfless interest in behalf of the American people
Father, only you know the good plan you have for these children of yours and for the purpose and role they serve in our nation. Please be glorified in their lives and please have your way. Please lead them not into temptation and please deliver US from evil. We praise you that you in control of all things and we rest in you alone. In Jesus’ name, amen.
I believe the Senate must hear
From us regular American people, The Senate has been completely clueless to how the American people feel. I have called two offices. Senator Thunes, and you can leave a message; while Senator Mitch McConnell Of course I had to write an email. Please make your voice heard now is more important than ever. You must say we want change. We don’t want the pharmaceutical companies, keeping us on drugs… we want freedom we want healthy food. Europe did not allow McDonald’s to come in if they were going to put preservatives in the food, so guess what? McDonald’s doesn’t put preservatives in their food in Europe.! We want that same health here!!!
We want RFK Jr! We voted Trump in because we wanted to change- you cannot go against the American people! Especially Senator Susan Collins, and Alaska/ Lisa ? We have to call them out that they’re blocking the will of the American people. We want the FBI to get rid of corrupt people. Why is it OK for the Democratic administration to target people, but Trump and his people cannot purge the FBI? We want the FBI purged people ; we voted for Trump because we want corruption rooted out. We must make our voice heard loudly. I believe all of their phones should be ringing off the hook. It’ll make a difference. I promise you. !!!!!!!

Lord, I believe you have chosen these patriots for such a time as this to expose the current senate of their own connections; particularly accepting pharmaceutical monies. RFK jr pointed their hypocrisy. Open their hearts to the concern about the food additives that are causing cancer and obesity. Kash Patel is very knowledgeable about their obstruction of justice and deletion of many emails that would incriminate them. Senator Gabbard needs our prayers and support: she is postured as “a traitor to the Democrats” as she changed parties. (And she wouldn’t condemn Snowden). Clear the path for them, Lord. America needs you more than ever. Bring Revival!
Two days ago, I was praying for all 3 after watching some of their hearings and deep in my spirit, I knew God was parting the waters and the path would open up. I am assuming all three because I was praying for all three. So, when I hear news and doubt, I now can stand in faith with all my being that God has got this!

I was reading in Micah chapters 3 and 4.
To all the people that are giving the President Trump nominates, a difficult time, accusing them, and not telling the TRUTH, Read Micah 3 and 4. May you get some wisdom from Jesus, and obey Him, regarding these nominates. Of President Trump. You are in authority now, and what you sew, is what you reap. May you look at yourselves, and repent, choose to vote for what God wants for America. Everyone makes mistakes and no one is perfect, but if you humble yourself, and start obeying Jesus. You will be happy and released. So may the President nominates, pray, seek Jesus and do their Most Exceptional work for America and Jesus. AMEN
I agree with the comments and prayers of these intercessors responding this 1st day of February, 2025.
My prayer is that God, in His goodness and mercy, will make a way for those whom He has called to advance without hindrance into the assignment He has prepared for them. The restoration of our nation requires men and women of His choosing, with integrity and knowledge in their respective fields to be in leadership. I believe God has raised up these three for such a time as this.
I can speak personally concerning Robert Kennedy Jr. He came to NJ to assist in our battle to maintain the religious exemption for vaccines. He marched with us twice around the Capitol as we prayed prior to hearings. He met with legislators. He spoke with families with care and concern. He is incredibly knowledgeable in the field Pres. Trump has asked him to lead. I am confident God has equipped him to do this all important job of restoring the health of our children in particular.
Lord, we thank You for removing every hindrance attempting to stop this great work You have begun to restore Your covenant nation of the USA. Teach us Holy Spirit to pray effective prayers so that we may partner with You to see Your Kingdom come and Your will done on earth as it is in heaven.
I pray that all three nominees will be confirmed. It’s time for the Senate to get the job done. Stop stalling. What they are doing is hindering the healing & change that is needed and start working together for the country and the American people.
Praying that President Trump’s nominees will be confirmed quickly! The people of America have already spoken through the election… now then, the Senate needs to confirm the nominees. We desperately need Mr. Kennedy to help in the area of our health systems … and make America healthier! We must move on quickly … praying for Senate to do the right thing now!
All three of these patriots who love our country and its Constitution have been maligned. They should be confirmed quickly so they can get to work. Listening to their opening statements at the hearings and their responses to questions was time well spent.
The health of our nation’s people is very low. We need Bobby Kennedy Jr. to ask questions and find answers to what is causing poor health and then implementing strategies to improve.
Kash Patel and Tulsi Gabbard are knowledgeable and experienced in security issues. They will be effective in protecting our nation from those people and nations that would like to harm us.
I believe Kash Patel, Tulsi Gabbard, and Robert F Kennedy, Jr, are the right choice for their respective positions, For the most part the opposition to each one of them come from Democrats who did little to help America during the last four years. I realize that there were a very small number of Republican senators who may have opposed Tulsi Gabbard, but I listened to questioning that was televised and I believe that average American voter will be happy with each one of them. We need to pray that God’s will be done and not that of a particular political party.
