Law enforcement arrested approximately 15 demonstrators protesting against Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson’s recent ban on biological men entering bathrooms and facilities of the female sex, according to Axios.

Video shows a crowd of protesters clog a hall near a women’s bathroom while holding signs. This took place in the Cannon House Office Building close to Johnson’s office. …

Johnson’s bathroom ban issued to protect women’s spaces from infiltrating males came after Republican South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace raised the issue by introducing a bill before Democratic Delaware Representative-elect Sarah McBride — the first ever representative to identify as transgender — is sworn in.

The activist group echoed chants of “Speaker Johnson, Nancy Mace,” “our bodies are not debate” and “our genders are not debate.” …

The women’s bathroom blockage was organized by the Gender Liberation Movement, which issued a statement saying the protest “sets an example of the righteous defiance and solidarity needed under a second Trump administration.“

“Everyone deserves to use the restroom without fear of discrimination or violence. Trans folks are no different. We deserve dignity and respect and we will fight until we get it,” GLM co-founder Raquel Willis said. …

They are just protesting. There is an option. I think that there are single occupancy bathrooms in the Capitol. I think that they were originally for parents with young or special needs children of the opposite gender. Don’t push people too far or the backlash will be more than what you want.

Lord God, we praise you for the strength, courage, honor for you, fortitude and love for truth in our Speaker Johnson and Rep. Nancy Mace. Please bless, protect and encourage them today as well as all our other righteous leaders and officials. Help us all stand in solidarity against this evil in our nation. You oh Lord are righteous altogether and just in your holy standards. Please continue to have mercy on us and help us together with you drive out this evil in this land you have given to us. You’re not willing that any perish but that all come to repentance and the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen!

In prayer agreement Lord, but asking You open their blinded eyes to see Your truth for they are in great danger and it’s not Your desire that any should perish!

One way to stop this could be to make a unisex bathroom for use by the protestors.

Lord, I pray that You will get ahold of the hearts of those protestors. And strike “righteous” from that organization’s name. And use a strong bold person to direct the design of that unisex bathroom, in order to protect the innocent women wanting a safe WOMEN’S bathroom. Use Your Mighty Power to accomplish more than we could ask or imagine. In Jesus’ Name I pray. SO BE IT! AMEN!

This is just plain- nonsense ‼️ If you have to use the bathroom, just use the bathroom. Why do people feel the need to seek special attention by trying to get people to subscribe to their foolery? If you don’t know which bathroom you belong in… remember what bathroom you entered before being trans.

Does it get any more ridiculous.

They can go to non gender specific bathrooms as they are not female. Just because a person is dressed like a female does not make one a female.

I think that the transgender males to females, who are still physically male, are afraid to use the assigned restrooms for men, because of the jeering, harassment, or possible
physical harm they may receive.
I am not comfortable with transgenderism, but I do my best to treat them as my Christian beliefs have taught me, with kindness, love and saying a prayer for them.
It is Not I, to cast judgement on their choices, but God’s judgement they will answer to.
I have a grandchild who has chosen to be a female now, which is difficult.
I pray for this child each night, and will always love him/her.

Passing unjust judgment is not the same as judging a tree by the fruit it bears. Your choice is your choice. But Your Choice Is NOT MINE. I as a mother, grandmother, and married woman do Not want to share a bathroom with another Man!!! We have Rights Too!!! This behavior is dangerous, foolish, and unfair. I have dealt with close loved ones who had succumb to the cult of the culture, I showed them The Love of GOD. They could not bring their “partners” to my house where I am responsible for by The LORD. I didn’t praise the sin But I love the sinner. You are my son, my daughter not my Trans. I refused to acknowledge my loved one as anyone other than what GOD created them to be.

This has to be difficult for you as the grandmother. Prayer helps us stay focused when our heart is breaking for our grandchildren. Your words make it seem that prayer is the avenue you have chosen to believe for your grandchild to accept the gender God made her to be!
