I think this would be very devisive. A house devided cannot stand. God was there when the constitution was formed. We need people of faith to lead this nation. When we follow Judeo Christian beliefs and lean on the wisdom of the Bible, peace can flourish . Our founding fathers knew this. They walked with God. Let’s have an attitude of dependance on Godly principles not worldly principles. We need to seek truth and preserve liberty through Christ Jesus.
Praying for wisdom and protection for president elect as he chooses his cabinet and for a smooth transition into power.
In Matthew 16:19 Jesus said, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven”. It is the people’s responsibility to govern our Constitutional Republic and we do so in this forum in prayer and in trust in our Lord Jesus Christ. Another wise intercessor reminded us of Galatians 5: 1 – It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Let’s continue to pray for God’s will and for him to be glorified. We have been given President Trump to fight fight fight for us. Now we must fight as God’s prayer warriors to protect our elected President and his cabinet and the congress and house to proper our Republic and glorify God.

Doesn’t this happen already? From what beenbwitnessed over the last 8 years, and now I think decades, there is always a non appointed shadow cabinet” that works against the current “in power” cabinet tonthwart efforts, instead of working with them to negotiate appropriate solutions.

Democrats need to accept the loss and not complicate a presidency that is not theirs to serve in. President Trump has an amazing plan in place and it does not include a “Shadow Cabinet”. I’m sorry but praying for Democrats to act nice and work with the Republicans is like expecting the leopard to change his spots. They think that “working with Republicans” means that Republicans do what they want. The purpose of this powerless shadow cabinet is to obstruct the good the incoming government is planning. Our U S Constitution doesn’t allow for this. We are a Republic and not a Parliament government.
It could be seen as an act of war against the United States of America.
If it was tried, then those attempting it should be removed from office.
Article 1, Section 5 is the basis for being able to remove members of Congress.
While this would be a lengthy process, it would inflict a significant amount of burden on those members who would try this.
Those states who have the ability to recall their members could exercise this and vote out the member of Congress.
