Georgia’s Supreme Court dealt a blow to Republicans, blocking several rules designed to make the vote more secure.
From National Review. The Georgia supreme court on Tuesday rejected a Republican-led emergency appeal to get seven rules, most notably one that requires poll workers to count ballots by hand, reinstated in the last two weeks before the November election.

The state’s highest court unanimously affirmed Fulton County Superior Court judge Thomas A. Cox, Jr.’s ruling from last week that the ballot measures were “illegal, unconstitutional, and void.” The judge’s ruling will now remain in effect through Election Day, meaning none of the rules will be implemented by then. …
Georgia Republican Party chairman Josh McKoon said the state supreme court’s Tuesday decision was “supremely disappointing” in a statement on social media. “We will press our appeal next year and hope for sanity to prevail,” McKoon wrote.
The ballot hand-count rule would have required thousands of poll workers to compare their tallies to the voting-machine counts and ensure they match before certifying the election results in each county by November 12. …
Some of the other ballot rules in question would have required local officials to conduct a “reasonable inquiry” into election results before certifying them, given county officials access to election-related documents, and required absentee-ballot deliverers to provide photo identification and signature at the delivery location in addition to three more rules. …

Lord, we bind this perverse and reactionary ruling according to Your word in Matt 16:19 and Matt 18:18 and we loose Your standards of honesty, integrity and transparency in all electoral proceedings. We condemn every evil and lying weapon formed against the Lord’s choice of president and congressional representatives, it shall not prosper (Isaiah 54:17); Ps 21:11 -evil plots will not succeed in King Yeshua’s mighty name, we pray. Dear Heavenly Father, I love You and declare Your Word as my prayer. I pray it envelopes each vote in GA as well as every state in America. Please create security over every polling place and as each voter enters, make Your plans known in a profoundly personal way. Many are the plans in our minds, but it is Your purpose that will stand. You know the plans You have for us, plans for welfare and not for evil, plans to give us a future and hope. Yes Father, please! You say, “I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?” No Lord, NOTHING! I am humbling myself before You Father, Son and Holy Spirit and pray that You are ready to call time on the corruption that is destroying us. Dear Jesus, we pray right now that Your will be done in the state of Georgia, concerning this election and may the people freely vote for a righteous ruler over this country, that YOU alone want. May Your perfect and holy will be done in Georgia, despite wicked rules and laws being put in place to guarantee a corrupt election. Lord, take down out of power all communists, Marxists and witches that would come against Your righteous will, in Jesus’s Holy Name above all names! Amen and Amen! All Honor, Glory, Worship, Praise and Thanksgiving go up to You and You alone, our God, Amen!
