I Prayed have prayed
God, we pray for Ukraine as it defends itself against Russia. We ask You to give our leaders wisdom as this war continues. Show them how to balance helping Ukraine and preventing escalation with Russia.
Reading Time: 2 minutes

RFK Jr. has called on the Biden administration to stop sending long-range missiles to Ukraine, calling it “reckless escalation.” What do you think?

From Fox News. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. slammed President Biden’s administration for continuing to provide Ukraine with long-range missiles on Saturday, arguing it was a major escalation of the conflict.

Who is praying on the wall?

Kennedy called out both Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken in a statement on X, formerly Twitter. He made the comment in relation to reporting that the U.S. is set to approve Ukraine using long-range missiles to strike inside Russia. …

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said his regime will “take appropriate decisions based on the threats.”

The U.S. and other Western nations have prohibited Ukraine from using NATO-supplies weapons in attacks on Russian territory, demanding they only be used for defensive purposes.

Since then, however, Ukraine has launched multiple incursions into Russia in an attempt to turn the tide of the conflict. Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelenskyy has also been pushing the U.S. and NATO to remove the targeting restrictions for months.

But Putin on Thursday drew a red line and said, “This will mean that NATO countries, the U.S. and European countries are at war with Russia.” …

What do you think of RFK Jr.’s tweet and the Biden administration’s stance on Ukraine? Share your thoughts with us in the comments!

Why is it ok for Ukraine to attack Russia’s interior yet Israel is constantly being threatened by the UN and accused of genocide while responding to terrorists who murdered unarmed men women children and babies and call for the total extinction of Israel? I guess it depends on who you choose to follow God or satan. Your choice choose wisely. Trust in God.

I can’t help but notice that no one has said anything (in the comments below) about how our military got into the shape that it is in. All of our former presidents since the war in Iraq have had an opportunity to set a goal of reversing the trend. So, Obama, TRUMP and Biden all equally carry some of the blame.

It is because our military has been weakened that China sees as opportunity and is moving to take advantage of it.

The decline of our military has been going on for some times. Seth Cropsey, who was Deputy Undersecretary of the United States Navy, published a book, Seablindness, back in 2017 which warned about the decline. It was, in fact, a debate subject between those who were running for the Republican ticket, except, of course, Donald Trump, who was not present and MAGA, with their razor focus on Trump, did not tune in. There is no reason for Americans to be taken by surprise, except that many have sought out news sources which only tell them what they want to hear and the only thing they want to hear about is the cultural wars and either Trump or Biden drama. Since Donald Trump was a former president who was repeatedly briefed during his time in office and has said he was pro-military from time to time, it is disappointing that he has not taken the lead in discussing the state of our military. In fact, he seems to have only recently added it to this platform, almost as an afterthought, but not really has discussed it or said what he would do, as though the topic was not as important as discussing how big his crowds are or how ‘stupid’ Harris is. The economy is important, but it will be scrambled if we go to war –OR if we do not, because we will be impacted if China overruns Taiwan in some surprising ways. In fact, the impact to our way of life will be huge.

Yes, I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020 but am concerned that he has not indicated that there is a turnaround in his thinking about the military (he did not get along with the military while in office and his storing top secret military documents in his bathroom and showing them around was not a responsible thing for a former president to do) and that he doesn’t seem to understand strategy or what is going on internationally. Afterall, he was president for 4 years. He was briefed. The situation was explained to him.

Trump only listens to MAGA so the responsibility lies with MAGA to convey to him that they want him to reconsider his position on Ukraine and to focus on rebuilding our military.

I believe we need to not escalate wars anywhere. Our military’s purpose is to defend our nation. The people benefitting from this ongoing war is the military/industrial complex that President Eisenhower warned about. They make themselves rich on the deaths of men, women and children around the world, and our own soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines.
A new and insightful documentary is Culture Wars which brings clarity to the current problems in our military.
War should always be the last resort after every other strategy has failed.

After the Cold War ended, the weapons industry descended into five companies (This has now expanded to a few more companies in the last year). Their industry is built around contracts with the Federal company which means that how much they can get paid is limited. because the contracts are in place for many years. The industry has struggled the last few years, as on one end, the prices of parts and labor have gone up but what they could make was tied to a contract. (Foreign companies purchased through the American contracts as well.) In fact, as the Ukraine war revealed that changes needed to be made to the types of weapons manufactured, the established companies would not bid on manufacturing the new protypes because they were in a position of having to build factories and would lose large sums of money. (I think that is being negotiated now.) What was true during the 1950’s is not true today.

I meant Federal government not Federal company, but I think that is obvious.

Everything said here is true, but there is also a major pivot going on at the moment. The war in Ukraine has shown the value of drones which are relatively speaking inexpensive, along the lines of $500. The military is now paying attention to the use of low-cost technology which means a rethinking of the arms industry, away from an emphasis on tanks and other expensive equipment.

    1

One quote about one consequence: ‘“A hostile China would be able to strangle our maritime trade with the rest of Asia and most of the world from Sabina Shoal,” said Jay Batongbacal, a maritime security expert at the University of the Philippines.’ (The Philippines and China are in a confrontation over Sabina Shoal and other islands and shoals.)

Before you say, we need to not get involve, you need to be sure that you understand what not doing so will cause.

It is not Ukrainian and Russian people who are at war. In fact, many Russian men have fled the country to avoid the draft and some that opposed the war have been arrested. Some critics who were living overseas have been assassinated.

The war is happening because Putin sees himself as the new Peter the Great and has a vision of absorbing the countries around him.

I want to point out that the Ukrainian incursion into Russia was more in self-defense and two and a half years after Russia invaded their land.

The globalist elites want only their bloodlines preserved. NATO wants to eliminate the Slavic people and many other groups via bioweapons – primarily vaccines. Please recognize that Ukraine’s rogue installed leader is controlled by NATO’s global destruction agenda. Russia’s intent is to prevent Ukraine’s expansion into their nation – initially via biolabs on the border. Our U.S. leaders are aligning with anti-Christ forces. Zelenskyy is Jewish. There is a strong Christian element in Ukraine. Some are members of my church. Russia, on the other hand, is persecuting evangelistic Christians and are arresting pastors. They only allow the Russian Orthodox Church.

They are struggling to deal with mounting debt and other mundane issues. Great Britian and France may have a few nuclear weapons, but all are struggling with a declining military. The United States is struggling to get them to put spend 2% on their military.

It is high time that someone steps up and makes a statement about our fueling of this war. How many billions of our money and weapons have we sent to Zelensky? It has to end somewhere. We, as a nation, do not have the financial resources to keep sending tons of money and military weapons to Ukraine. They need to get weapons elsewhere. We need to be keeping our weapons here in our own country.

The heroic efforts on the part of Ukraine is little reported by MAGA focused journalist. A major part of their defense, drones; they are building themselves from parts imported from all over the world but also taken from Russian drones that have crashed. They have, in fact, set a goal of building one million a year.

I quote from a major news source: “The mobilization of Ukraine’s domestic war economy is akin to the effort the U>S> pursued during World War II.”

September 17, 2024

If Ukraine was forced to come to terms with Russia and give up its land, it would only encourage Russia to continue their aggression against other countries. Putin even said that this was their goal before he invaded Ukraine. Now he has an army which has experience on the battlefield and an economy built around war to supply it. If the war in Ukraine ends, his army would be available for yet another invasion. The chances of a WWIII accruing which would have to be fought on two fronts, would only increase.

IFA, as usual, posts nonsense. Russia is not the Soviet Union. Its economy is much smaller. Its military is smaller and, if you will remember, was driven back by the much smaller, less armed Ukraine army which was taken by surprise. And Ukraine did not ask the West or the United States for permission to fight back. Iran and China have been supplying them with arms (unlike the fickle United States), but it is unlikely that China will come to Russia’s defense if Ukraine launches missiles into their territory.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Why aren’t the intercessors on the wall?

We are drifting toward World War III, and no one is paying attention.

Did anyone read the Commission on the National Defense Strategy report just released on the condition of our military? https://www.armed-services.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/nds_commission_final_report.pdf

It starts with: “The threats the United States faces the most serious and most challenging the nation has encountered since 1945 and include the potential of near-term major war.” The report goes on to warn: “The nation was last prepared for such a fight during the Cold War, which ended 35 years ago. It is not prepared today.”

On the international front (which is not being covered by conservative news sources), it is being reported that China is becoming more violent in its attempts to drive the Philippines from the islands and shoals of the South China sea. In other words, the situation is close to an all-out war. In addition, there are indications that Russia is helping Iran gain nuclear weapons. Ukraine is bleeding out soldiers. How is it you fail to understand the significance? We have a treaty with the Philippines. Treaties require us by law to respond if the other country is attacked. (Treaties, by the way, cannot be broken by a president. They are put in place by 2/3 of congress.) Does no one understand just how bad it would be if a rouge nation like Iran got nuclear weapons?

Donald Trump’s claim that he would avoid World War III by ending the Ukraine war is nonsense. His cutting off military supplies to Ukraine would not stop them from fighting and would send a signal to China that the United States will back down from confrontations because we want to avoid war at all cost. In other words, this would encourage the Chinese to be even more aggressive and move us even closer to WWIII. In other words, what he is suggesting would move us closer to WWIII and not away from it as he claims.

There is no reason for IFA to be posting RFK’s comments vs the comments of someone who has in-depth knowledge of Ukraine and their situation. His campaign for president was not significant. He is not regarded as a military expert or an international leader.

No, but if IFA is going to post just ONE commentary on the Ukraine war, then that ONE commentary carries enormous weight because it is the ONLY opinion represented. If you are going to post ONE commentary than it should be from someone who has in-depth knowledge of the topic at hand.

RFK is someone who is followed by conspiracy theorist. And as has been so abundantly proven here, is likely to draw in those who ‘think’ they have ‘secret’ knowledge which they get from ‘conspiracy’ sites.

        September 18, 2024

I wish to point out that it is all very well for news sources to report what Putin is saying. The public of a free society needs to know the facts. But it is also invaluable to bring in the opinion of those who are insightful. (I don’t consider myself one). The information about Putin threatening NATO is one thing, but you also have to keep in mind that the Russia today is not the Soviet Union, and Putin is fully aware, even as he threatens us, that in a conventual war with NATO, even with NATO’s military being degraded, that he stands no chance of winning. He has nuclear weapons, but the ones left over from the Cold War are badly degraded. But yes, he has been developing new weapons, just one being hypersonic missiles, but it takes time to work out the bugs and stockpile. I am just saying that the situation changes and it is important to have up-to-date and knowledgeable information from people who are experts and not causal observers. International diplomacy and strategy is also complicated.
