For years, Biden has ignored the law requiring the construction of a border wall. Thanks to this ruling, that’s about to change.
From the Office of the Missouri Attorney General. Today, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey obtained a court order forcing the Biden Administration to use congressionally appropriated funds to construct a barrier along the southern border.

“The Biden Administration has failed to abide by the law to finish the construction of a wall along the southwest border,” said Attorney General Bailey. “Joe Biden refuses to carry out his constitutionally mandated responsibilities, so we took him to court to force him to do his job. This is a huge step forward in the fight to secure our border at a key moment in our nation’s history.”
In FY 2020, Congress passed a law explicitly requiring the President to construct barrier systems at the southern border to keep unauthorized individuals out of our country. The law provided $1.4 billion to build the border wall and explicitly stated the money “shall only be available for construction of barrier systems along the southwest border.” The Biden Administration refused to comply with Congress’ command.
When asked why the Biden Administration “did not build a barrier, such as a wall, to keep migrants out,” it replied that “[i]t is not the policy of this administration” because “[w]e do not agree with the building of a wall.” DHS expressed its intention to “end wall expansion.” The Administration even “call[ed] on Congress to cancel remaining border wall funding” because they knew that without congressional action, they would need to use the appropriated funds for their specified purpose: finish the construction of President Trump’s border wall. Yet when Congress did not capitulate to its demands, the Biden Administration ignored its constitutional obligations to abide by Congress’ appropriations laws and opted not to use the funding for the purpose Congress directed.
Missouri, alongside Texas, immediately filed suit. The Biden Administration attempted to argue General Bailey did not have standing to challenge its refusal to use the funds, but the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that states can indeed bring a challenge.

Wow, this is a glorious day that the court found the States favor to the decision. Thank you IFA for posting the decision so that we can stay informed. I’m so thankful to those who pressed forward in response to the neglect of the Biden administration. Lord thank you for your divine protection and for making this favorable decision to our nation’s attaining a future border.
Haven’t seem anything on the news about this, have you. Just all the denials about Harris not being in charge of the border tho. What a cover up. No wonder the US is in so much trouble.
Being from South Texas I have seem some of this problem first hand but it isn’t reported on the news unless there are bodies; therefore that’s big news about poor mistreated migrants. Pretty sad that people have to die before a bad thing gets noticed. Lots of kids and young women out there, lost and in trouble that will never be found while the politicians and news media lie and go right on with their lives as if everything is fine. Ranchers are also picking up bodies daily in the pastures and the discarded trash. Now we are being told to get vaccinated for measles. Would it have been prudent for these people to be required to be vaccinated before coming into the US??? What else will they bring in??? And the questions go on and on.
I wonder if Joe Biden caught Covid from one of the non vaccinated migrants that he invited through the door, wouldn’t that be ironic.
So basically, through the misuse and misappropriation of taxpayer money, the Biden admin delayed…through lawfare and legal means – the building of the walls for 4 years in order to accomplish their objective of allowing illegals, terrorists, etc. into our nation in order to weaken it, collect voters (who will vote illegally by and in large) & drain our resources beyond comprehension.
The Biden admin knew full well what they were doing was illegal but that’s the problem with our court system and lawfare financed by big money. They can do severe damage through delays. And now that Joe isn’t running, he knows he won’t be held accountable….at least not in this life.
Thank you, Lord for this ruling which is just – bless those who courageously brought suit. I ask that this administration be held responsible in some meaningful way for ignoring the law – in fact many laws – and thinking themselves above the law. If man’s justice cannot touch them because of rampant corruption in our legal system, then I ask that You step in.
When the court system is so slow that a ruling can’t be made and enforced until after 10 million illegals have invaded our country, something is deadly wrong with the legal system. It’s like saying shooting someone is illegal after they are shot and dead!
Biden and his administration should be held accountable for defying the court order. If the court doesn’t stand strong in this matter, God will.
Wow !! No surprise here.. even with the court order I would be shocked to see any construction on the wall.
Father we fervently pray that your hand will be on America through the end of this administration. Protect us from those who are invading our land and squash all attempts by other countries to overtake us. Also protect us from the many evil factions that wish to turn AMERICA into a filthy cesspool !! Father help us with our wall !! We pray in our savior Jesus name Hallelujah !!
