While Vance hails from Ohio, a one-time battleground state the former president comfortably carried in the 2016 and 2020 elections, the senator’s selection is expected to boost Trump among working-class Democrats, especially across the Rust Belt, who otherwise might have been supporters of President Biden, according to multiple experts who spoke with Fox News Digital as Trump was weighing his options. …
Vance was a vocal critic of Trump when the former president first ran for the White House in the 2016 cycle.
However, Vance eventually supported Trump, praising the former president’s tenure in the White House, and in a Fox News interview in 2021, he apologized for his earlier criticism of Trump.
Trump’s endorsement of Vance days before the 2022 GOP Senate primary boosted him to victory in a crowded, competitive and combustible nomination race.
“Look, I was wrong about Donald Trump. I didn’t think he was going to be a good president,” Vance told Fox News’ Bret Baier in an interview last month. “He was a great president, and it’s one of the reasons why I’m working so hard to make sure he gets a second term.”
In the Senate, Vance has been one of the most vocal supporters of Trump’s America First agenda and has been a vocal opponent of U.S. aid to Ukraine. …

Praying for Yeshua to reveal Himself in a glorious way to the Trump and Vance families. Only through wisdom imparted by the Holy Spirit will these leaders be able to bear adequate armor for the spiritual battle this nation faces.
TERRIBLE choice! Wrong VP again. This man DOESN’T “conVANCE” me in the slightest. How can you trust a purportedly converted NEVER-TRUMPER? Trump was the devil in 2016, now he’s the right man… Give me a break! Ohio had Jim Jordan, loyal to Trump from the beginning.
Many of us initially supported Ted Cruz for president in 2016. However, now Trump has a fairly strong conservative record – thanks to surrounding himself with faith leaders who prayerfully interceded for him. More than ever before, we must unite in Christ’s Name to ask for God’s mercy and revival to heal this land!
Let us not jump to conclusions right away. We do not know the heart of J D Vance. Only God does and I believe that he had a part in the choosing of Trumps Vice President. Let us all pray for both men that they will turn this country around to what it was before. We must stand together for this country.
I read Hillbilly Elegy by JD Vance. It is a great book. I loved it for many reasons, personal and otherwise. I believe that the the Lord has been working in Mr. Vance’s heart and mind, and I pray that he and his family will come to the true and saving knowledge of Jesus as savior and Lord. I am praying the same for former President Trump and his family. I believe that JD Vance is an excellent counter balance to President Trump. I am fully behind this pair. I am so hopeful about their synergistic teamwork to lead and govern our country. I am praying for Holy Spirit wisdom, guidance, and protection. God is trustworthy and faithful!!
