I Prayed have prayed
Father God, we lift up Robert F. Kennedy Jr. before you. Draw him closer to You and fashion him into a candidate who will honor and glorify You.
Reading Time: < 1 minute

As we consider who to vote for, its important to know what the candidates believe. What do you think of Kennedy’s reparations plans?

From Breitbart. Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. departed from his usual moderate posturing by coming out in favor of reparations.

Kennedy favoring reparations may be a politically strategic move to pull support from President Joe Biden, who has remained silent on the issue. …

“Communities that were specifically targeted for destruction need to be specifically targeted for repair,” Kennedy states on his campaign website. “During Jim Crow, Black banks, businesses, hospitals, schools, and farms were targeted for destruction. Racists knew that without these, the Black community had no chance of building wealth. We must set federal dollars aside to rebuild Black infrastructure.”

“These programs complement direct redress payments or tax credits to the descendants of the victims of Jim Crow and other victims of persecution,” the statement continues. “RFK Jr. will find ways to offer this redress that are legal, fair, and win the approval of Americans of all races.” …

What about those that had their businesses destroyed during Obama presidency? From looting, burning buildings, etc? No help for them no matter the color of their skin.

Having read the history of black community in Tulsa we are held accountable. But God, You must lead or corruption prevails on either side. Man had been fraught with deceit in all matters and we need a thorough retooling back to original intent.

The USA owes Reparations. They were to be given at the end of slavery, but weren’t, so they need to be given now. We built this nation so we need to receive from this nation.

We in the US would owe reparations to Native Americans tribes as well, wouldn’t we?
Our forefathers broke many treaties to steal land upon which they survived: starved them, and mutilated their bodies during massacres – the Sand Creek Massacre is but one example. How would one suggest such reparations be done? It would seem impossible to accomplish this in a fair, righteous and biblical manner.
As believers we would do well to at least repent on behalf of our nation for these betrayals – some segments of the body of Christ in the US are heartbroken and already repented of these atrocities – I am reminded of Daniel where in chapter 9 he repents on behalf of the sins of the nation of Israel. May the Lord give us wisdom and discernment in these things.

I like Kennedy on many issues however he has changed his stance on abortion several times saying it is women a womans choice and he is for a Federal ban at 3 months. I am right to life from conception to birth and after birth and fighting for the personhood of the unborn towards ending abortion and discrimination against the unborn in my state following Texas and Oklahoma law enforcements.
Church, we are either for life are not! Hot or cold but not compromised!

Roe v Wade was over turned as unconstitutional.
We won this battle. Please end it for the least of these!
Stay the course for the unborn!
Amen

Reparations is a dull, jagged two sided similar. First, it’s another form of “ownership.” Second, it flies in the face of what the Native Americans and Chinese endured. Third, it does not address the spiritual issue of slavery, which is lightly touched on in the story of Joseph when he was trafficked.
As for communities that were harmed, those people who endured birth defects when the elites purposely ran high tension power lines over poor areas.
What about the experimental hormones in foods in “third world” nations and Puerto Rico?
No, reparations are another form of humanism to draw power from a people so that they lose their taste for divinely gifted Liberty.
Father, we repent for hungrily snapping at the dangling carrot while trotting haplessly to the cliff. Jesus died and rose for our Liberty and freedom, to free us from the heavy yoke from mankind.

I am a Black 73 year old retired teacher and question anyone’s logic regarding the paying of reparations. If tax dollars are set aside, then I and other Black taxpayers will pay into our own reparations? Most Blacks can not trace their history so how do they know if they are descendents of slaves? I am so tired of hearing about red lining and things that happened way before I was born! To my Black brothers and sisters, FORGIVE ALL WHO HAS HURT US AND MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIVES! My GOD tells me to forget those things that are behind, and press forward to what HE has for me! I know Mr. Kennedy is trying to get Blacks to vote for him by bringing up reparations! If he is really concerned about the “Black plight”, let him take some of his inherited riches and give it to 2 to 5 Black families to help get them away from poverty in JESUS NAME! Amen!

I love your perspective Roberta! I’m hispanic and I don’t believe in reparations at all. The blood of Jesus covers all sins once and for all for all human race. He is our only path to reparations.

I like what Mark Levin stated. Who is going to pay repartations to all the families who fathers/husbands fought in the civil war to help abolish slavery.
