U.S. Funded the Spread of Atheism

Our government funded the global spread of atheism and humanism in 2021. How did this happen, and how can we stop it from happening again?
From The Christian Post. Republican members of Congress have expressed concern over the Biden administration’s apparent funding of an international organization that seeks to advance atheism overseas.

Reps. Michael McCaul of Texas, chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee; Chris Smith of New Jersey, chair of the Subcommittee on Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations; and Brian Mast of Florida, chair of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability sent a letter earlier this month expressing concerns that the administration is funding efforts to spread atheism abroad.
The congressmen’s letter was addressed to Acting Assistant Secretary Erin Barclay of the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, and Ambassador-at-Large Rashad Hussain of the Office of International Religious Freedom, both of the U.S. Department of State.
In the letter, the congressmen said Barclay and Hussain were not providing sufficient answers to previous queries about the State Department’s apparent funding of humanist events in other nations.
They specifically referenced a 2021 Notice of Funding Opportunity program titled “Promoting and Defending Religious Freedom Inclusive of Atheist, Humanist, Non-Practicing and Non-Affiliated Individuals.”
One of the program outcomes listed in the NOFO includes increasing the “capacity among members of atheist and heterodox individuals to form or join networks or organizations, implement advocacy campaigns, and to engage with the public on issues of tolerance and acceptance of all regardless of faith.”
The letter to the State Department officials claims that this violates the Bureau and OIRF’s explicit rule not to “provide funds to any organization with the aim of using such funds to promote or advance specific religious ideologies or beliefs.”
“Nor may the [State] Department evade responsibility by claiming that a constitutional analysis is unwarranted, because humanism is not synonymous with religious belief,” stated the letter.
“For over half a century, the courts have considered Humanism a ‘religion’ protected under the Establishment Clause, and therefore held that Humanism may not be specifically promoted using aid money from the government.”
The congressmen explained that Humanists International, an organization that eventually received the grant, actively tries to spread atheist beliefs abroad, and works alongside groups that actively promote humanism in the United States.
“The awarding of the DRL NOFO to HI reveals major flaws in the Department’s screening process for potential constitutional violations,” continued the letter. “The Department’s efforts to combat religious persecution abroad do not entitle the Department to promote particular religions using taxpayer funds.”
For its part, the State Department has defended the decision to give the grant to Humanists International, with a spokesperson telling RealClearPolitics that the NOFO was about defending freedom of conscience abroad.
“This [funding opportunity] solicited programs to promote respect for freedom of conscience and the human rights of nonbelievers and others to live without repression and in their societies on account of their beliefs or non-beliefs,” stated the spokesperson.
“We welcome Congressional interest in our efforts to ensure that all people around the world are free to live their lives in accordance with their conscience and beliefs and will continue to engage with the committee — having already turned over hundreds of pages of documents, hosted two briefings for the committee … and had the ambassador-at-large testify before the committee in July.”

The first thing that comes to mind for me in reading this article-,is that from listening to Pastor Jack Hibbs initially at the onset of the tyranny 3/13/20.. during the course of the next 18 months in one of his sermons.. he explained the definition of atheist.. which originally meant, – in reference to we the body of Believers in Jesus.. “one God”.. and in paraphrase I can continue that he observed the irony-, or sometimes even a dark comedy.. in the usage of that term, to refer to a people, or person, that does not believe in God at all.. ( the modern usage of that term).. the reference meant that we the followers of Jesus only believed in one God.( original meaning ).
In light of this article revealing yet another crack in the previous Christian armor of our Nation.. it seems at the very least-, and is only obvious.. that yet another persistently tedious and simultaneously egregiously poison tendril of a root system spreading its poison has been uncovered.. in this all too obviously, if not so well disguised.. and.. becoming more blatantly obvious.. attack on what were once precious and protected Christian thought processes.. let us approach this with the same and even more strenuously prayed through- and.. even- let us assault this evil, with our prayers, let our prayers be a weapon as God’s Word is a sword- to decimate these things-, let us dispose of and dispense of permanently-,niceness in dealing with the Enemy-,let us crush the enemy..- in the Old Testament it says, at least according to Pastor Greg Locke, ( and he read it from the pulpit online )it says that God would kill a witch.. our Lord and savior has no acquiescence or tolerance for the demonic.. yes we in our positions as his ambassadors and soldiers of Christ are conduits through which humanity is offered salvation.. but all too often.. and it has even become a politically correct tradition almost- really, that these evils are overlooked..so that someone might get saved-, which is why there are famous pastors all over Facebook contributing the funds that are generated by the sale of their information- (which is what Facebook does..they accumulate and then sell our personal information to the highest bidder and use the funds for evil) fund the evil atrocities at the border-, the rape of young women and young girls.. have you ever heard of a rape tree.. it is a disgusting thing.. anyways I digress.. so yet another bureaucratic system has been compromised -or, ,initially it sounds like in this article-, was actually even created- to promote the erosion of the education of humanity in Christian thought and principles.
To me also it is obvious that we have been relegated to a point or a place in our march towards eternity.. where we are flailing about-, flailing our arms about, in continually praying about these micro issues- which of course are.. minutiae.. infinitesimal building blocks.. in the weapon of our destruction, in eroding the thinking of humanity. These systems must be called out for what they are- and CRUSHED.
Giving equal opportunity to Godless systems, and humanist religions.. removes the teachings of Christ- and as we know- where there is an absence of Our Lord God Almighty.. that spiritual void is immediately filled… ..when Satan’s demonic forces rush in.. this is what has happened in Alcoholics anonymous.. which had been originally founded on Christ-, and then ,between 1935 and 1939.. they took Jesus out of it.. and evil rushed in.. and that is where you get the ominous phrase.. and a very confused phrase.. “a god of our understanding.” If a god of our understanding were sufficient for salvation-,or even for the good of humanity, then we would be sufficient in worshiping idols.. and that in fact is what that is-, it is the worship of idols -,just like the secular organization described in this article-, is simply promoting the worship of idols.
Lord, just as Lucifer became Satan- in his sin, and still now is capable of masquerading as an angel of light.. deceiving many.. these systems of banal and tedious structure.. which to the regular or average human being- immediately upon awareness of them.. we become instantly bored to tears.. I believe Lord that that is the intended point of these type of bureaucratic administrative root systems.. they are so mind-numbingly banal, and simultaneously intrinsically evil.. in there disguised design.. that they are going noticed.. insidiously planting seeds of not only deception.. but of creating mindsets that do not benefit from an education.. but are bloated with the deception of Lies that form insidiously offensive internal gases.. to our Lord and Savior-, and render us poisoned and ineffective in our bloodstreams.. and are the foundation of indoctrination. Which is.. doing what you are told.. not thinking independently.. which is what God Word teaches.
Lord I am tempted here to become discouraged and to wonder at the overwhelming number of miniscule molecules that each of these thousands of bureaucratic. grains of sand represent.. that becomes stacked upon one another to disguise.. to cover over.. the deception that they create.
Lord let these things be exposed for what they are.. and let them either go completely unnoticed by the intended recipient-,or become completely ignored, or just to erode.. to dissolve into eternity.
Lord let him dry up and go down the drain into the cesspool that were originally intended for these evils… into hell
Lord thank you for giving us imprecatory prayers like Psalm 35 and Psalm 140 where we call for the destruction of our enemies.. at the very least we can turn them over to you for judgment-, Lord but our time of pandering to.. and even catering to evil- because of our fear of not being liked, or for fear of being thought of as being mean….. has come to AN END.
I pray that the evil of these -supposedly banal-and very-useless- -but-evil-in-Disguise systems.. would be destroyed upon their discovery..and burn in hell eternally.

Father God crush this atheist rebellion like you did with Kora’s rebellion in the Old Testament by opening the ground and swallowing them in Your Wrath. You said you wish none should perish but come to knowing Jesus Christ as Savior. Lord we know some have dug thier heels in, and tempted you to act and we know that You have Your Way on this earth, and we praise you in Jesus Holy Name
