Father, I pray for those in leadership in California to come to Proverbs 1:7 reverence for You that they might begin to have knowledge where they now despise wisdom and instruction. For Your blood-bought children here in California, cause us to be increasingly faithful in Your 1 Timothy 2: 1-4 instruction to pray for those in authority for the sake of all the people, because it pleases You, and because doing so is our small part in ALL men coming to know You through Jesus. May many Christian Californian have their eyes opened to the truth that there is no separation between faith and politics because true faith informs our every thought, word and deed!
This resembles so many of our current social programs: the money goes for salaries, com0any cars, meetings at exclusive resorts, etc. Maybe 10% goes to the “client”.
