St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Manhattan is hosting an art exhibit titled “God is Trans: A Queer Spiritual Journey.”

The display by artist Adah Unachukwu describes a queer spiritual journey in the steps of Sacrifice, Identity and Communion, The New York Post reported Sunday.

A spokesman for the Archdiocese of New York said he was unaware of the exhibit and declined to comment to the Post.

The church, which also hosts the “Out at St. Paul” LGBTQ+ ministry, is receiving mixed reviews about the exhibit from parishioners. (Excerpt from Just the News.)
