Last week saw the high-profile collapse of two major banks: California-based Silicon Valley Bank and New York–based Signature Bank. With two major banks failing in the past few days, people may be tempted to panic. This time may be especially rough for those who were devastated by the mortgage-banking crisis of 2007–2008 — and even tougher for the seniors among us who remember the days of the Depression.
Have you taken your place on the wall?
However, no matter what feelings may immediately well up when you hear about these bank failures, I encourage you to stop today and remember that the silver and gold belong to God.
Our God is great and merciful. He is greater than any bank, and certainly greater than any potential or even partial economic crisis or collapse. He sustains and upholds us all by the word of His power, and He can stabilize our nation’s banking system as we pray.
Without further ado, can we join together in prayer for the U.S. banking system today?
Let’s pray as follows:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus’ name.
Father, thank You for being our glory and the lifter of our head. Thank You for putting Your love, power, and strength to work on our behalf. Thank You for Your mercies, which are new every day. And thank You that You provide from Your goodness for the poor. We praise You today, Lord.
Abba Father, we lift our nation’s banking system up to You. You saw and knew about the collapse of Signature Bank and Silicon Valley Bank from eternity past. You are not overwhelmed or distressed over these events; You are greater than they are.
So, Father, we ask today in Jesus’ name that You would extend Your mighty hand and outstretched arm to stabilize the U.S. economy and banking system.
Please intervene in the midst of all the turmoil happening right now. Let men and women be Your vessels of wisdom, Father, even if they do not know You. Give Your wisdom to every banker, regulator, politician, and Federal Reserve employee. Turn the hearts of the kings and queens like water in whatever way You know they need turning. Help them to do what is good and right in Your sight. Strengthen and stabilize the banks and our economy, in Jesus’ name.
Father, Your word says that the silver is Yours, and the gold is Yours. If You were hungry, You would not tell us; You have no needs at all. You are the fount of all provision, wealth, and stability. You provide from Your goodness for the poor.
Therefore, Lord God of heaven and earth, we plead the blood of Jesus over the U.S. economy and banking system.
Since these things belong to You, we ask that You would do whatever Your good and perfect will is regarding them. Make all the things happen that Jesus bought and paid for with His precious blood.
We claim Your promise that if we humble ourselves, pray, and seek Your face, turning from our wicked ways, then You will hear from heaven, forgive our sins, and heal our land. We ask You to do that today, Father. Heal our land in every way, and particularly today we ask that You would work a miracle to stabilize our economy and our entire banking system in every aspect.
Thank You. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You. And we praise You and thank You that You are worthy of our trust and reliance.
In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
Beloved, I hear the Lord saying “Fear not.” Remember that God loves you with His perfect love, and His perfect love casts out fear.
You do not need to be afraid when we have the perfect love of the Father. If you are worried, cast your cares upon the Lord. He cares for you, and He can and will move in response to our simple prayer of childlike faith.

You have no idea what you are praying about. I am a currency investor and the corrupt banking system we have now has to DIE or it’s over for America. You have no idea who much evil the banking system has put in place to destroy America and make it a 3rd world communist country, millions would have died. A new better system is being put in place, but the old has to die first. You have not been listening to Trump lately. STOP praying wrong !!!!

O Father God, creator of the Universe and every person on earth, may we bow before you in repentance, thanksgiving and humility, in awe of Your Holiness. You are the Most High God, provider of our every need. May we realize we need to put YOU first place in our heart, not money nor anything else on this earth in order to please You. Please give us wisdom, discernment, ears to hear You clearly as we follow Your Word. May we take our eyes off all the earthly confusion, evil, turmoil, wars, disasters, calamities of this world and focus our eyes on YOU, putting our full trust in Your power and sovereignty. None of this is a surprise to You. We prayed for the Light to invade the darkness, and prayers are being answered, evils are being revealed day by day. Help us to cling to You, live out our lives as godly ambassadors to a lost world who fears and clings to their stuff and every dollar. Please Lord deliver us from evil, and the evil one. Help us to be strong in Your strength to be overcomers until You take us Home or we see Jesus in the Rapture! Praise God, you never ever leave us. We Praise You for all Your many Blessings, and Your control over this banking turmoil, and possibly lots more to come; Your plans will never be thwarted. Help us not to fear but trust You and share the Gospel message to those who do not believe. Help us not to cling to any earthly thing. Thank You Lord for hearing our prayers, Your Will be done. I remember that Jesus said do not fear for these things must come to pass. So in order for Jesus to return some things have to happen. This signals that we are very near to the Lord’s return. Praise the Lord!
Sorry, but the banking system needs to collapse as that is the only way to get rid of the Federal Reserve Bank. A private bank that has put us into slavery with fiat money and easy credit to enslave and control us with debt for over a hundred years. I have been praying for their demise as it is a Babylonian system. Pray for the Lord to open your eyes to this.

If we are in the last hour, it would also benefit us to pray to let go of this world and take hold of the Kingdom to come.
Yesterday morning when I woke up I felt led to pray for Janet Yellen – I had not heard the news about the banking situation and believe it was a prompt from the Holy Spirit. I had a compassion that I would not have in my own mind which can only come from God! Thanks be to God that we can trust in Him and He reassures us to have no fear.

I am not at all sure that propping up and stabilizing this current economy and banking system is the right approach. Perhaps it needs to fail and be replaced by something better and more in line with God’s will. But a banking failure would hurt a LOT of people; hence, I’m conflicted. Only God knows.
Father God, fixing this is far above my wisdom and understanding, but you know the right solution. We pray that you will bring about a righteous and just economic and banking system that is good for America and the whole world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you for the work you are doing to keep us informed of the issues and ways to pray. Nothing going on in this world today is by accident. There are dark forces all around us causing upheaval and unrest. This is just another example of the destabilization of America. We know that God is still on the throne and that he hears our prayers. He is able to take care of his people and provide exactly what we need in these troubling times. May we be faithful in our prayers for this nation and also faithful in sharing the gospel.

The Babylonian system must come down. The banks have to fail so we can return to the gold standard. We should be praying for God’s wisdom in walking through these times. We need this system removed along with many other corrupt systems within our government.
When the Great Depression hit in 1929, my maternal grandmother had her inheritance that her father had left her in the bank here in Sylvester, Georgia. She lost All of her HOUSTON inheritance.
To say that it was very Traumatic is an “understatement.” She was born in 1891, and she lived to be 85 years old (She died in 1976.) The rest of her life, SHE NEVER PUT ANOTHER DIME SHE EVER HAD IN A BANK ANYWHERE.
My grandmother told me about all of this after I got grown, and in light of all that is now taking place—I Remembered her words…………….
HEAVENLY FATHER, America is no longer a godly nation…..Our pride and our arrogance—and the decadence of our “lifestyles” are provoking YOU, just like they did in the 1920’s Before the Great Depression HIT! HELP US, O GOD,—–DRAW US TO YOU EVER CLOSE—FROM THE YOUNGEST TO THE OLDEST—AND REMOVE THE SCALES FROM THE EYES OF THOSE WHO ARE SO LOST…..

Father God people need to realize whose money they are handling that is why it says In God We Trust what it was going on whatever criminals are at the top doing this whether it’s Sorrows or this Administration or any other past presidents or Russia or another country communist country call communist China shake them to the core of their souls make it impossible for them to do anything wrong by the United States of America and the people in it this has got to stop by the God we’re tired we’ve had enough and you will be done on Earth as it is in heaven you are the almighty all powerful we are just Vapors underneath you we don’t deserve anything father God change all this evilness and get rid of it in Jesus name I pray

Lord I join my brothers and sisters here.. coming before you ..believing for your provision and choosing to trust in your good will for us-,and your protection n no matter what happens Lord as we know you will never leave us nor forsake us-, we realize we may have to walk through the fire,but it will not burn us- we may have to walk through the river-,but it will not overcome us ..so help us to remember you in our daily thoughts continually-, and not grow weary, and remember to not let our flesh stand in the way of seeking you..and thank you for all you provide Lord.

Yes we should pray for our financial institutions, but too many articles are written without all the information, trying to create panic, as in todays post. Unfortunately people go to social media and exaggerate untruths. Even businesses that aren’t educated or experienced publish false articles about what’s going to happen.
Do not Fear! I will give you the desires of your heart. I will never leave you or forsake you.
We must be “Steady as we go”…..trusting the Lord Jesus Christ, the leading of His Holy Spirit. Not fearful or looking to the left or the right, but only keeping our holy faith built up in the Father who owns the cattle on a thousand hills. We say “the enemy be soundly rebuked by the Lord”, in this attempt to bring chaos and instability to America and the world. Instead, the power of God will see to it that peace and wisdom will rule and defuse every plot against our banking systems. Men and women of courage, knowledge, and sound judgement, people of faith, will hold steady to the course God will reveal to them. Bring unity of patient and honorable leaders. Cancel the political agenda for causing alarm in the nation. Reveal hidden agendas of dark plots, capture those hidden; rev, expose, and correct the course set by evil doers. Jesus Christ is Lord over every area of human care…..Lord, be glorified and exalted in this banking situatiion. Amen
Lord please help us with our banking system. We need a stable economy. We need You Lord and Your mercy, wisdom and guidance. Help us to turn towards You. I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
