We have prayed for the border for years, witnessing chaos increase under the Biden Administration. President Biden’s announcements this week are a change in policy and a step in the right direction. Let’s continue to pray for order and enforcement measures on the border.
From The Washington Times. President Biden revealed a new approach to border security on Thursday, planning a massive path for some migrants from Haiti, Cuba and Nicaragua to reach the U.S. while promising Trump-style expulsions and blockades to stop those who refuse to use his avenues of entry.
Join others crying out to the Lord day and night.
He announced the carrot-and-stick approach after two years of unprecedented chaos at the southern border. It belatedly gives Mr. Biden some concrete answers to dealing with the crisis.
The legal pathway would cover up to 30,000 people a month from four countries. It allows a two-year permit to live and work in the U.S. while trying to find a more permanent status.
Mexico has agreed to take back up to 30,000 people a month who try to jump the southern border without going through the pathway. That return-to-Mexico policy is similar to the one used by the Trump administration to solve the 2019 border surge.
At the White House, Mr. Biden called for both political parties to embrace his approach.
“This is a hard one to deal with, but we have to deal with it,” he said.
“These actions alone that I’m going to announce, they are not going to fix our immigration system, but they can help us a good deal,” he said.
Administration officials called the legal program “unprecedented.”
“We view this 30,000 a month as really, truly groundbreaking,” one official said.
The president made the announcement ahead of his belated first trip to the border next week.
It also marks a stunning flex of executive power and one that could be challenged in the courts by both sides of the immigration debate. Immigrant rights activists say pushing people back to Mexico denies them their legal right to claim asylum, while legal experts on the right question Mr. Biden’s expansive use of “parole” to admit migrants outside the system created by Congress.
“This is one of the most egregious, unlawful abuses of humanitarian parole authority in American history,” said R.J. Hauman, head of government relations at the Federation for American Immigration Reform. “‘Case by case’ has morphed into industrial-scale processing.”
Legal arguments aside, the administration says the plan will work.
Officials have been conducting a trial run with Venezuela after a surge of migrants from that country threatened to overwhelm the border in the fall. The administration in October announced its policy of paroling some Venezuelans who applied from abroad while sending others back to Mexico.
The effect was to dramatically cut unauthorized crossings, from 33,804 at the southern border in September to 7,931 in November.
That program now will be expanded to include migrants from Haiti, Cuba and Nicaragua, who also are contributing to the border chaos. …

All I see in this border trip is continued hypocrisy. These policies only encourage people from other countries to be used and abused by Mexican cartels. El Paso cleaned up the town and moved people off the streets so the president didn’t have to see the truth. Residents were horrified about that. There is nothing humane about the way people seeking safety and freedom were brought here.
Immigration laws need to be enforced. Then the Congress can change them to allow an easier way to legally enter America. Allowing millions to enter isn’t fair to those crowded border states without federal help. I pray for those people who are cold and hungry and seeking freedom. I have pray God will change the hearts of our leaders to follow Him and not seek earthly power.
You can be happy that Biden took this action, but you should know the one you see is an actor with a mask, and he is a puppet, and not our rightful president. Furthermore anyone who cheats in a National election is a traitor.
More truth is coming out. God is on the move. His enemies know they have gone too far in this country and the world, and they are making desperate moves.
However I don’t believe we’re at the end yet. The horses are still in the barn.
The best advice I’ve heard is to draw close to God, the ride is going to get bumpy.
I’m afraid that one visit to the border for a photo op isn’t exactly going to help America. I also don’t believe that allowing 30,000 MORE people here every month is a solution.

I can hardly believe it! I can’t easily share with more liberal relatives. I can’t imagine what their spin is on this news.
This is continuing deception from this government.
How one event of someone going to the border can equate this to answered prayer is outlandish.
This nation has turned aside from God and his word.The people in our government are monsters.

I don’t trust Biden at all. Why did El Paso get cleaned up this past week? Just because Biden is coming to the border and say it isn’t bad at all? Hopefully his approach to the people heading here will be heeded and help the process at the border. We shall see if this is the start of something good.
In my opinion, he is afraid of impeachment because of his policies at the southern border. The Republicans just took over the House of Representatives. His trial in the Senate will bring out stuff that he really does not want brought out.

I do not know how this will protect the Nation and its people from the crime that is coming into the country. To me the question is not about bringing into the country more people, but Why are so many fleeing their countries? Maybe prayer and more emphasis on the conditions of corruption in the other nations is relevant and MUCH PRESSURE should be a focus. How can these countries change ? That life would be better for them and for their families. I think of what the Lord requires of us, “to do justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly before our God.” Imagine if each nation was transformed by the power of Our God to live obediently to His instructions. What a world that would be, however we know that will not be the reality of what is ahead, but only to “fix our eyes upon Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that we would not grow weary and lose heart.” He still sits on the THRONE!! The Holy Spirit gave me three words to live by after President Thrump lost the election. I was to STAND in faith, I was to WAIT for those who wait upon the Lord shall be renewed and I was to WATCH for the glory of the Lord will be seen. He is faithful to help us as His people to endure and persevere til the end. HE IS GOD!!
I think because our government has promised them free whatever they like when they get here, that it’s better to come here and drain our system than live in their own country. And many of these people end up sending the money back to their family in their country. None have any desire to become a citizen. It’s all about free stuff from the government compliments of the tax payer’s dime, all while the citizens of this country struggle to make ends meet.
Many of these people have been given money to come here as well. There’s a bigger agenda at play here. The globalists want to destabilize the country. A good way to do that is to flood it with people who have no affection for this country and end up causing crime, child trafficking, drug trafficking, etc.
I pray our border would one day be secure. That people would only be allowed in legally and there would be an end to the trafficking.

Lord, I come before you with a humble heart seeking that a solution will prevail concerning our borders that will make a huge difference in our State and Nation. That the drugs, trafficking, chaos, and the Criminal activities that continue to come into our country by way of the borders that surround our nation would come to a stop! I pray for the plans that may be introduces would be of great important and helpful to solving the problems that we encounter daily. I know Father that your will; will be done because you are in control and I give you all the praise and glory in the comfort of that reality. I know everything comes in your timing not ours, but I recognize prayer bring about answers and solution when laid at your throne in a time that is of dire need and we have to keep that in mind while we wait for comfort to come to our nation. In a word my friends…NO! There is no encouragement here. Intercessor’s, you need to be very aware of the just how unscrupulous the Biden White House is. These people are compulsive liars and do not anymore care about the invasion on our borders than the man in the moon does. El Paso has been overrun with illegals. They are … were … all over the streets of downtown El Paso. The news showed last night that all of a sudden all the streets have been cleaned up and no immigrants ANYWHERE in sight. And that is because Biden is coming to El Paso this coming Sunday. Got to make it look like all is fine here.
I’m sorry my fellow intercessors but I do not pray for Biden to have wisdom. That is far gone for one who has spent his entire life as a lying politician. I pray that he will serve one term and one term only. We need a strong…GOD FEARING PRESIDENT to lead our nation once again. I believe as Christians, that we should be praying not for what “WE” want God to do for us and our nation, rather we should be praying for “God’s will to be accomplished in our world”. The Scriptures tell us, “God’s ways are not our ways”. He sees the “WHOLE” picture, and our finite beings cannot see as He does. Therefore, we should pray for “His will” to be accomplished, in whatever way He deems right. If He is able to create this entire world, then I believe He is more than able to lead this country back to righteousness!
Dear Father I come humbly before you, asking that you would accomplish Your will for this nation as a whole. You set the rulers in the places and you are also the One who removes them. Lord I know you are still in control of everything that has happened and will happen going forward, yet I pray for your mercy, grace and love to bring your children back to you. Answered prayer? What answered prayer! He goes to the border, so what. If we follow the political agenda he has been following thus far nothing will be done. My prediction: He will not see any problems, just like with our economy, there is no recession! Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!, so to speak. No, not an answer to a prayer but a photo op! No progress, nothing coming from it but for the press to praise him! He will probably not get within miles of the border. Agree with so many replies here and take this news with much caution! Proof, God gives us proof of His clear answers to the prayers we send. Claiming an answer, before the proof of its frution is unwise. Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light, so we must Always be wary of what is Truth and Illusion.
Here is an interesting verse from Rom.13: 1-5, in a great reminder of keeping rulers in perspective to who we are subject to:

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority?
Do what is good, and you will have praise for the same.
and compare to Rom.9:14-18,22-24
concerning God placing the Pharoh in power, who we all know was evil in his treatment of non Egyptians:
v.15 For He says to Moses,” I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.”
16 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs,but of God who shows mercy.
17 For the scripture says to Pharoh, ” Even for this same purpose I have raised you up, that I might show My Power in you, and that My Name be declared in all the earth”.
So much more within this chapter, and God’s Word gives us clarity as to why some things Just are Of God in our world. The thing is, as believers we must still Just Declare
The Name of God, praying His Will and thanking Him for His mecry no matter what is happening around us. He has appointed the rulers for His purposes, and His alone. And, our role is to obey Him first, have Faith, Love one another, pray for one another, reaching towards the goal of eternity, no matter what is going on here this day, hour, minute.

Not encouraged. 7000 people last month? They are dealing with numbers in that neighborhood in countless towns, entry points etc., ON A DAILY BASIS. I pray that stronger policies against illegal immigrants are immediate. Too many USA citizens are suffering . Too many of us can no longer keep up with increased rent , and increased grocery and transportation costs and cannot afford needed surgery or dental needs. Rent increases yearly have now make it impossible for many seniors who get less than 1400$ a month of EARNED Social Security Retirement . Pray for the millions of struggling USA citizens who cannot afford to keep up with rent and utilities and have health issues and must pray they are able to keep working so we can keep scraping by . I pray all those illegals will go back to their home countries .The USA does not have enough houses for our own people . Massive miserable apartment complexes have taken over farm lands and orchards and destroyed what was once healthy living and more people living in crowded towns and cities increases crime. We are trillions in debt and cannot aford to help any more immigrants. There are other countries who can help them . Pray they go back to their home lands . Our own people need help .
It’s hard to trust him after they flat our denied that the border was a problem and have been funding both people coming to the border in partnership with the UN and preventing the supplies previously purchased to be used to build the wall. They sued Governor Ducey of AZ to make him remove the containers he was using as a wall for AZ.
