Newt Gingrich feels that Republicans have a good chance in the midterms. Let’s pray that candidates of godly character win this November.
From The Epoch Times. Analysis. The Republicans could see large gains in both chambers of Congress in November, according to Epoch Times contributor and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

“I would say we’ll be between plus three and plus seven … in the Senate; and we’ll be between plus 20 and plus 50 in the House, with the most likely number being plus 44,” Gingrich told The Epoch Times.
The GOP needs to flip five seats to win back House control. In the evenly-divided Senate, Republicans need to win one more seat to claim the majority.
With the November election day fast approaching, Democratic optimism appears to be fading as GOP candidates close in on key races across the country. …
“Almost everywhere in the country, races are showing the Republicans tightening up,” said Gingrich. And according to him, Democrats have only themselves to blame.
Key Voter Concerns
Crime, inflation, border security, and “woke policies,” he said, all “coming together” against Democrats’ favor.
“When you have sort of insane left-wing Democrats who believe that you don’t need prisons and that things can be dealt with by just being nice to murderers, I think the average person just thinks this is crazy,” he said, pointing to the crime concerns in New York as an example. …
Inflation, crime, and immigration are Republicans’ key campaign issues. In a handful of recent polls, voters appear to find them their biggest concerns at the moment.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Oct. 18 claimed that a New York Times/Siena poll showing that the economy and inflation ranked as voters’ top two concerns was an “outlier,” and that abortion is on top of voters’ minds. …
Abortion Issue Not Paying Off for Democrats
The abortion issue, however, is unlikely to help the Democrats as much as Pelosi and other Democrats may think, according to Gingrich.
“Republicans are actually winning the argument, because it’s a question of who’s the more extreme,” he said. …
“People actually think the Democrats are more extreme in their eagerness to kill babies than Republicans are in their desire to save babies,” said Gingrich.
The abortion issue is actually one that is “not helping Democrats as much as they think,” he added.
“Because their activists are so intense, and so rabid, and their activists have been giving money, it feels like it’s a good issue for them. But when you go out to the country beyond the hard left of the Democratic Party, it’s in fact, not working for them at all.”

Lord I pray, that legislators, like newt gingrich, – who understand righteousness,-,would have the courage to not just speak righteousness, – but to actually stand in the gap in walking in righteousness.. and fight against evil. It is all well and good for us to do our duty and vote.. but if the civil servants and legislators act in ungodliness then it is all lost.. I pray the Holy Spirit would overwhelm every city in America-, that there assembly and Senate-,. and that the Congress in Washington dc. will be filled with conviction- by the power of your holy spirit -,that each legislator will humble themselves-, that their conscious would be overwhelmed with the power of your Holy Spirit -,and that if any have a heart that has been seared-,that they will be removed from office-,and only godliness will prevail in America-, in each City-and each capital city, and in Washington DC Lord-,and that as it has continually been that the Republican party has represented those values-, that they would carry the day-, as America goes forward-. and you establish your righteousness in the land-, and that ultimately Godliness will prevail in both parties-, and even in the Independent parties,..Lord.

Father, we pray for godly people to be elected. May they look more to you than power and stand for what is right. May they walk in integrity and through their rule, bring our nation to wholeness. We pray for the unsaved in our government that they would realize they have nothing inside of themselves; they are empty. Give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness since they have none of their own.
Heavenly Father, I pray wholeheartedly for a red wave as it is truthful and those that succeed are godly and truly care about America and her inhabitants. God bless those with courage to stick with their convictions. I pray for the Holy Spirit to guide and direct all involved. Help us Lord as we see through a glass darkly. In Jesus previous name. Amen.

I pray Abba Father for mercy on our country. I ask you Abba to soften your peoples’s hearts to decide in faith to vote for God fearing men and women to be seated in our government to rule with Your wisdom and direction. Father I pray Your perfect will to be done.
And Lord after the election we ask that these Godly chosen men and women to be strong in You and to have the courage to do what is right in saving America!
I am praying that all the godly people running for office will win their elections, the ones who want righteousness in their government.
I pray for a red wave sweep and then for the Republicans to stand on every issue and do the will of God. I ask for every elected official to have a trustworthy prayer team interceding for them on a regular basis. Restore the constitutional republic as we are not a democracy. As Ben Franklin said, a democracy is like 2 wolves and a lamb deciding what to have for dinner. It just doesn’t work.
Father God; we are praying that the flood gates will open AMerican 🇺🇸 hearts to go and vote and not have a complacency attitude about “MyVote “ will not help. This attitude is a lie from Satan. I also lift up a prayer for the Pastors to stand at pulpits this Sunday to encourage the people to vote, relaying how critical it is to our Nation. I declare laws on abortion to kill babies will not pass. I decree Republican voters will overrun the polls and show God we are fighting back. I pray all who are participating will have a safe secure place to vote in confidence. I decree All states will turn red to honor God and all of the Intercessor’s who have spent hours praying as well as all of the election workers who have been out canvassing.
