Pro-life leader Dr. Alveda King criticized Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams on Thursday for claiming women should abort their unborn babies if they are struggling financially.

Speaking with Fox & Friends, King said the notion that killing children is a solution to poverty is a “really frightening” view.

“What Stacey Abrams is saying, be afraid,” King said. “Be so afraid you want to get abortions first, that it’s more important to get an abortion than it is to pray, than it is to unify, come together, and solve the problems of America together.”

Earlier this week, MSNBC asked Abrams, a Georgia gubernatorial candidate, about her emphasis on expanding abortions when Americans are more concerned about the rising costs of gas and food. Abrams answered that abortions are a solution to economic issues, prompting massive criticism.

“Having children is why you’re worried about your price for gas, it’s why you’re concerned about how much food costs. For women, this is not a reductive issue,” Abrams told MSNBC…. (Excerpt from LIFENEWS.COM)
