This decision will only hurt Israel, a nation that is already struggling under fierce opposition and global animosity.
From The Epoch Times. The Australian left-wing Labor government has created a diplomatic crisis with Israel after it decided on Tuesday to walk back the previous government’s policy of recognising Jerusalem as the capital of the country.

Taking to social media on Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lipid admonished the Australian government for what he saw as a hasty and unprofessional response.
“In light of the way this decision was made in Australia, as a hasty response to an incorrect report in the media, we can only hope that the Australian government manages other matters more seriously and professionally,” he said.
He then noted that Jerusalem was “the eternal and united capital of Israel, and nothing will ever change that.” …
Australian Foreign Minister Long-Term Critic of Jerusalem Policy
When announcing the decision on Tuesday, Australia’s Foreign Minister Penny Wong said that this policy reversal would not affect Australia’s relationship to Israel.
“Australia will always be a steadfast friend of Israel. We were among the first countries to formally recognise Israel under Labor Prime Minister Ben Chifley. This Government will not waver in its support of Israel and the Jewish community in Australia,” she said. “We are equally unwavering supporters of the Palestinian people, providing humanitarian support every year since 1951 and advocating for resumed peace negotiations.” …
Labor Party’s History of Support for Palestine
Last year, the centre-left Labor Party pledged to recognise Palestine as a sovereign state if it won government.
Arthur Tane, executive director of The Council of Middle East Relations in Canberra, said the Labor Party’s announcement “came out of nowhere.”
“The state of Palestine is not known for its democracy. You have a limited number of parties, all with the same kind of platform. They are very anti-Israeli, and very much in support of the destruction of Israel,” he previously told The Epoch Times. …

God bless the Jews and Israel. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and all of Israel. We pray for any nation and people who turn against Israel.
God has warned people about turning against the Jews and Israel. He said woe unto any nation who turns against Israel and His people.
The Palestinians are permitted to live their but the land is not theirs.
God clearly said that He created Israel for a land to be given to the Jews.
God created Israel for the Jews because He loved them as He created America and we dedicated it to Him because we loved Him.
The Jews have been the most mistreated,hated,murdered and abandoned people ever.
America was a friend to Israel while President Trump was in office but this administration abandoned them like so many others. America and Israel are the two most despised nations on earth.
Why?
Because the Jews are God’s chosen, and precious people who gave us Jesus, and God adores them.
America has always been the most Christian nation and sent the most people out to evangelize other nations. Our devotion to and our love of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit has caused us to be hated as well, among other reasons.
Father God. We lift up the wonderful nation of Israel and the precious Jewish people. Lord, they have persevered through horrors and hatred’s that most people’s could not have stood up under.
Father we pray for Australia and our own nations as well that the officials in control at this time would be brought low for any harm or abandonment of Israel. We ask Father that You world lift Israel up and bless her and her people’s. Protect her from her enemies Lord and guard her.
We as Your children Lord, recognize how beautiful Israel and her people are. We thank You Father that You will lay Israel and Her people in the hearts of many nations, and that Israel and the Jewish people would flourish and come to know that they have many of Your children in America who love them and pray for them.

Neither Australia nor other countries can support both Palestine and Israel when they are arch enemies. Israel, is God’s sacred country with Jerusalem being the most Holy and Sacred city (The City of David). Palestine mostly practices Islam, which is anti-God and anti-semitic. This is is truly and outrage and 100% hypocisy! Australians should not tolerate this!
Father, we pray that You would protect Israel and its people from a world that seems to despise them. Move in the hearts of Australia’s leaders, God, and convince them to once again recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Oh, God! Whatever light or shadow is cast on Israel by other nations, it continues to be a witness unto You before the entire world. I join multitudes in praying for the peace of Jerusalem, for in her peace is ours. You have given us the Holy Scriptures and the Messiah through this chosen, representative people. May they turn to You for their salvation and their peace. In Jesus’ matchless name!
Father, Jerusalem is the capital of Your people, land, and nation. You laugh at the foolishness of men who think their words change that.
Father we thank you for Israel for out of there came the savior Jesus the Christ and we know that whoever curses Israel will be cursed so we pray that those who curse Israel fail in all their attemps to do evil and divide the land. We ask in Jesus holy name Amen!
This decision will hurt Australia much more than it will hurt Israel, because God still judges those nations which try to divide His land as per Joel 3:1-2.
For example, the United States has been trying to divide this land for over 30 years and today it is no longer united in anyway.
But you precious intercessors are making a difference in asking God to still have mercy on America (Ezek. 22:30).
Thank you for praying for Israel – and for America.
Father,
With more urgency we lift up Israel for Your protection. We rebuke Australia and all other Islamic Palestinian sympathizers who refuse to recognize Jerusalem as the Israel’s capital and want to steal Israel’s land. Let Your judgement come upon them as You have said – those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel shall be cursed. So be it. We pray for leaders worldwide who will honor You and support Israel. Let America lead the way. Remove those from leadership who oppose Your plans. In Jesus’ amen we pray.
