Bill Clinton Tells CNN There is a Limit to How Many Migrants Any Society Can Take

Bill Clinton joined CNN’s Fareed Zakaria to discuss the return of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) this month after a five-year hiatus.
CGI’s website states, “CGI convenes, connects, and catalyzes global and emerging leaders to create and implement solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. The interview covered a wide variety of topics including economic opportunities both in the US and globally, the war in Ukraine and America’s political divide.
When asked about immigration, Clinton said the quiet part out loud, “That is, there is a limit to how many migrants any society can take without severe disruption and assistance, and our system is based much more on an assumption that things would be more normal.”
