Mike Johnson (R)

Using the words of Spurgeon, from the April 19 reading in Streams in the Desert 1, I pray that our Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, will not be discouraged in any way. God has placed you in this position for this time: "Stand still"...keep the posture of an upright man, ready for action, expecting further orders, cheerfully and patiently awaiting the directing voice; and it will not be long ere God shall say to you, as distinctly as Moses said it to the people of Israel. "God Forward" The Spirit of God will handle the battle; for it is His doing that you are as the watchman who intervenes in the affairs of saving America.

Dear God, Thank you for men like Mike Johnson, speaker of the House of Representatives and Representative for the state of Louisiana, who are working toward upholding and uplifting the Constitution and the people; keep him strong in his principles and his resolve. I pray Thanking you Oh, Lord that he is a person of real faith and strength; that he is looking to You for wisdom, guidance, knowledge and understanding, that he keeps himself surrounded by people and advisors of strong character, honesty, truth and knowledge, caring and compassion. Thank you for his boldness and strength; may he continue in that for the people of Louisiana and the US. Provide protection and security for his life, his work , his service, his family; may his service and intentions be first to you and Your plans and purposes. Thank you for the people you are using and the ways your are working in America to work your plans and purposes to restore us to a GODLY, Compassionate and Loving people who promote and share your grace and your love, offered and declared for obedience to your precepts and commands. Display your strength for Your people and your displeasure with the disobedient to bring honor and glory to Your Name. Thank you, O Lord for hearing our pleas and our mumblings.

Lord, man will attempt to break House Speaker Johnson's discernment and Your wisdom. I ask You to set a watch guard around him. Protect his mind, and give him the ability to stay focused and disarm confusion that tries to chain him. I ask this in Christ name

May the Lord bless you with righteous leadership, and protection for you and family.

Heavenly Father, I believe you have place Mike Johnson where he is at today for such a time as this! I pray that he will not look to the left or to the right but keep focused on what matters. Holy spirit I pray conviction over him should he make decisions not align with your the Word. I pray Jesus over him and his loved ones, keep them safe and out of harms way, Father. Thank you for individuals like him who are on the front lines pushing for things that matter and fighting for what is right. May he continue to trust you and know that you have equipped him with artillery and weapons to fight. Ephesians 6:11 (NASB2020) Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:12 (NASB2020) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Lord, protect Mike Johnson and his family as he makes decisions for his state and for this nation. May your Holy Spirit direct him with great Wisdom, Understanding, Insight and Discernment. We ask this in Jesus Name.
