Father God, I lift this fine person before you who has chosen to serve in the public arena called politics.. I ask for a special set of blessings upon him throughout his service to the people of hiscity, state, and this nation. Gift him a special understanding of the intent and purpose of all brought before him as information and for action. Grant him the wisdom of the men of Issachar who had understanding of the times, and knew what their nation ought to do. Give unto him, his loved ones, staff, and constituents safety, health, and prosperity. Protect him and his reputation as you guide him through the many opinions presented, that he have the wisdom of Solomon to judge the truth of maters presented and act according to its honesty and value. Hi God, we pray for Joaquin, we pray for transformation in their heart, I pray that they would know the truth, and the truth would set them free. Thank you for setting your love on them and giving them heavenly wisdom in Jesus name.

Father, please guide Representative Castro as he serves the State of Texas and the United States in Congress. Give him wisdom and discernment as he seeks godly counsel in representing the needs of the people. He is concerned about the welfare of all people in being equipped to achieve the goals they have set in order to be successful in life. He knows that everyone has a purpose and a dream for life, and he works to help them achieve their goals, beginning with education of our children. May he be a strong supporter of teachers and parents working together for sound education and safety of our children. May he be a defender of the right to and sanctity of human life. Lord, lead him in the way of righteousness, and give him a desire to walk in truth and with integrity. Give him a strong moral conscience, Lord, and may his eyes be on You as the Author and Finisher of his faith. Guide and uphold him with Your righteous right hand. May he know You and the hope to which You have called him. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
