Perry Dozier (R)

Father, I pray for Senator Dozier asking that he would be strong in his conservative principles as he stands against so much liberalism within Washington state. I was pleased to see him at Meet and Greets for Michael Baumgartner and Terri Connor, both running for the Congressional seat being vacated by Cathy McMorris Rodgers. I pray for insight into who to support for that seat for him and for me. May he seek you daily as he forms opinions on issues facing us in Washington state. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.

Father, I pray for Senator Dozier to be delivered from self-focused ambition and to adopt a humble spirit before You and the electorate. Jeremiah 9:23-24 states: Thus says the�Lord:�"Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches,�but�let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the�Lord�who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth.�For in these things I delight, declares the�Lord." I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Father, I pray that You would bless Senator Dozier this Easter weekend. May he be able to relax with his family although the legislature is still in session. He has worked hard to promote righteousness in the state of Washington. I thank You for his work. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Father, as the legislative session moves to debates on the floor of the House and Senate, I pray that You would keep Senator Dozier strong in support of that which You desire. Thank You for his dedication to the citizens of the state of Washington. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Father, as I remember St. Patrick on this day, I pray for Senator Dozier to reject silence and to be brave in the face of the societal attacks that face us today. St. Patrick did not fear for himself when he returned to Ireland to bring the gospel to a violent and pagan people. Please keep Senator Dozier strong and help him to act with integrity. May he proclaim truth at every turn. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Father, thank You for the hard work being done during this legislative session by Senator Dozier. I have been so appreciative of his stance on the bills that have come before the legislature. I pray that he would tap into Your Spirit of power and love and of a sound mind (1 Timothy 1:7). May he not fear, but stand strongly for truth. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
