We are thrilled that HHS will no longer fund research at UCSF using human fetal tissue from elective abortions. This step is a result from a comprehensive review of all HHS research. This review has given the administration, and all Americans, clarity on the amount of government-funded research using human fetal tissue from elective abortions. An Ethics advisory committee has been established and needs to be held up in prayer in order to strengthen this Administration’s desire to protect life.In recent months, $20 million was set aside for the funding of research that does not rely on human fetal tissue.
