“After School Satan Club” Hosting Program at Elementary School

The Satanic Temple will be hosting an after-school program at an elementary school in Memphis, Tennessee.
The Satanic Temple plans to host its first After School Satan Club (ASSC) club in the state of Tennessee on January 10, 2024, at Chimney Rock Elementary Library.
A flyer for the event describes the Satanic Temple as a non-theistic religion recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a Church. The church views Satan as a literary figure who represents a “metaphorical construct of rejecting tyranny and championing the human mind and spirit.” (Excerpt from Fox News.)
