Bob Good (R)

Thank you oh God for Representative Bob God, for his strength and boldness and his strong stance for Conservatism and Constitutional government. Father, I believe he is and he presents as a Believer and a man of faith. Lord God, bless him and guide him; grant him wisdom and discernment for his mission and his work in Congress. Surround him with strong and principled advisors and supporters for his decisions and actions for Virginians and for America. May he be seeking after your council and your truth in all things; do a work in his life and his circumstances. Place your protection over him and his family and put a hedge against his detractors and attackers, against evil and hatred. May you Spirit fill him, cover him and guide him. Thank you, Father God for hearing our pleas.

Heavenly Father, we Pray Representative Bob Good is convicted that he is created in Your image; woven together in the womb of his mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at this time in history. Lord God, we pray he be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and to demand of himself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray he is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Mr. Good sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May he be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev. 14:6). We pray that he is convicted that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God" (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Father God, I lift up this fine servant of his constituents, those people whom trust him to perform his duties before the public in service to them. Oh God, mighty and everlasting make straight the paths before him. Give wisdom and clear sight of all intents set before him in legislation, personal decisions and public policies. May his balance of justice be served by a true and fair balance. May the poor be given career work to care for their families. May the businesses in his district prosper. May their profits spread in works of pubic good. May the burden on the governments so be reduced. Bless the the people he serves with health, strength, and compassion. Empower their ability to help those in need. May every one in his district be blessed in the doing of righteous deeds. May their baskets overflow with blessings. Amen

Father God, Thank you for Bob Good. Thank for his desire to help and serve the American people and those in Virginia. Thank you for giving him a heart that longs to make a difference. Protect him and surround him with your goodness and place godly people and godly influences all around him. Guide him in the ways he should go and open his ears so he can hear your voice clearly. Jesus deepen his relationship with you and your word and that be his protection especially during the chaos that sin and corruption want to cause. "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn." Let it be said of Bob Good that he is and will be a righteous leader all the days of his life. Proverbs 29:2 In Jesus name, Amen

Lord God, I pray that Your Word and the prayers, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Bob Good have taken deep root. I pray he has been convicted to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at time in history. I pray that Bob Good is convicted of John 3:16, "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding," (Psalm 111:10) I pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (James 1:5) and Your will as he represents the 5th district of Virginia and the United States of America. In Jesus name, Amen.

Father, I praise You for the service of Representative Good to our country. I pray Lord that he will be God-fearing and recognize that he is accountable to You for every decision and action he takes (Proverbs 9:10). I pray that he be granted Your wisdom and knowledge and understanding (James 1:5). I pray that he be presented with the gospel if he does not know You and a loving Christian witness (Romans 10:14). I pray Lord that if he is unsaved, he will be drawn to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and be encouraged and grow in his faith ( 1Timothy 2:24, Ephesians 1:17-23) I pray that he will recognize his own inadequacy and pray and seek Your will (Proverbs 3:5-8). Lord convict him of sin, transgression, and iniquity (Psalm 51:17) and help him to heed his conscience, confess his sin and repent (proverbs 28:13). I pray that you give him a desire to read the bible, attend prayer meetings, and bible studies (Psalm 119:11, Colossians 3:2), Lord I pray that he values and regard the 10 commandments and the teachings of Christ (John 8:31-32). Protect his heart and mind and fill him with your joy (Nehemiah 8:10). This I pray in Jesus' Name, Amen
