I Prayed have prayed
Lord Jesus Christ, You have always been faithful to us! Remind us of the many ways You have been faithful in 2020.
Reading Time: 2 minutes

For many of us, 2020 has been a difficult year.

We had our plans for this year, but truly the Lord has determined our steps (Prv 16:9). The challenges and changes have been fairly thoroughly expressed through sites like this and social media, so we won’t revisit them.

But what we do want to reflect on is the faithfulness of the Lord  and answered prayer during this season:

Great are the works of the Lord,  studied by all who delight in them.
Full of splendor and majesty is his work, and his righteousness endures forever.
He has caused his wondrous works to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and merciful.
He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever.
He has shown his people the power of his works, in giving them the inheritance of the nations.
 The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy;
they are established forever and ever, to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness. (Psalm 11:2-8)

Let’s encourage each other! Share in the comments how the Lord has been faithful to you in 2020 and how He has answered prayer . . .

We love this song about God’s faithfulness (the lyrics are below the video):

Great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me
Morning by morning I wake up to find
The power and comfort of God’s hand in mine
Season by season I watch Him, amazed
In awe of the mystery of His perfect ways
All I have need of, His hand will provide
He’s always been faithful to me.
I can’t remember a trial or a pain
He did not recycle to bring me gain
I can’t remember one single regret
In serving God only, and trusting His hand
All I have need of, His hand will provide
He’s always been faithful to me.
This is my anthem, this is my song
The theme of the stories I’ve heard for so long
God has been faithful, He will be again
His loving compassion, it knows no end
All I have need of, His hand will provide
He’s always been faithful, He’s always been faithful
He’s always been faithful to me.

Lord did a miracle for me today I was to have gallstone removedI today when I got the test back this morning they were all gone. So no surgery it was a miracle. It did leave me with a infection that I am still in the hospital for the surgery was canceled , and I am fine from that. It did leave me with an infection. The doctor says and recovering nicely from the infection and praise his holy name he has not left us.He’s in control and he has a plan. He spoke to me all night long last night between sleep and this morning the nurse was so happy when she came in and share the stone is gone. Thank you Jesus, you are Still in control and we must praise you for the good and thank you for the bad because in our lives you are working good for those who pray, to those who love you,and are called according to your purpose, there are three promises there. So if it didn’t go my way I know it is still going to be good thank you Jesus

God met us so many times in the last six months! He gave me this website, recommended by another praying friend. Our prayer group continued to meet on zoom. We watched The Chosen, which came out just as the lockdown was approaching–we watched it about 3 times. We watched the Free Burma Rangers movie. People met for prayer–we received answers for prayers. While everyone locked down, my teen attended camp and was spiritually impacted. When a camp my other teen worked at closed because of the virus, that teen traveled with friends to South Dakota badlands with friends. Because of the deceit of the media, much corruption has been exposed to us. God brought many to prayer at The Return, and we have the opportunity to fast and pray together this Sunday as well. I learned about protonmail.com, so I can get away from big tech influence and surveillance. Ifapray.org has encouraged me with news and with fellow prayer warrriors. In my home, God’s presence brings peace and joy with no end in sight!

Many things have happened, so far, in 2020, good things, bad things, have happened, BUT GOD!!! If not for God, I would have lost family members to a dreadful virus. If not for God, I would have no income. My husband and I have been able to work through the whole lockdown/mask-wearing mess this virus has brought to us. My children and grandchildren have stayed healthy. I have been blessed to come and go as needed without any setbacks. My husband had pneumonia in August, but PRAISE GOD he was covid free. I thank God for keeping us safe and I trust Him to carry us all the way through. I honestly do not know how folks make it through life without GOD!

How has He been faithful to me? Surviving. I’m surprised I am alive. Many nights have learned why the sailors in Acts prayed for morning to come. I had always thought that prayer was rather silly. It isn’t. (Sorry I’m down, our younger dog died unexpectedly yesterday.)

Hi Jana, I’m sorry for the stress of the present time we are in – if possible I would share your burdens. But God, as you know provided us a burden bearer, Jesus cares for you. your loss of your furry companion is sorrow upon sorrow. But our Father is faithful and I am trusting Him with provision in your loss. You are loved and not forgotten. Your Sister in Christ, Doris

Thank you so much. With time and the work of our Comforter, I will recover from that. You remind me how important fellowship is. I miss being able to go to church. God bless you and keep you in His service.

God has always been faithful. He knows our needs before we do and makes sure His people are taken care of – He never fails us. A family member has been in the hospital for 3 months with Covid. There were many times we thought she wouldn’t make it as she had to be resuscitated. In fact the doctors gave her the worst scenario when she entered the hospital but said they would do their best in treating her. They didn’t know we have a God that is the best physician. She is in rehab now and pray fully she will soon be home. God is good.

This past year we have seen God’s faithfulness to us.
We sold our home without having to go through an open house. There is a lot more to this God story. Just a few details it was at a time when realtors were not allowed to show the home. Our Bible study group helped with the move, along with our son and his family. . Not one item was broken.
Because of sizing down we were able to give to many ministries,. The Lord allowed us the privilege to go to The Return in DC,
What an amazing time with the Lord.
Family reconciliation, and some we are still praying for.
A sister in love who had a severe head injury and surgery that the Lord healed.
God’s blessings in abundance.
Meeting fellow believers in our new neighborhood. The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed they never cease His compassions they never come to an end they are new every morning great is His faithfulness.

When you pray a prayer like this, be ready when He answers! Sometimes the answer is a breath-catcher, but He is so faithful to keep us safe! My husband Bruce and I received a call to sing/minister at a cowboy camp in New Mexico. We would be traveling with our living quarters horse trailer and our two horses from south central Texas to the mountain backcountry in New Mexico within a week and a half.

Prayer: “Please, Lord, help anything that’s going to break, break now so we can get it fixed before we hit the road.”

The first thing to go was our trailer batteries…all four of them. The camp we were going to was a dry camp (aka no amenities). We rely heavily on solar panels in these situations and the batteries are a must. Through the Lord’s wisdom, we replaced the four lead-acid batteries with two lithium batteries (stronger, lighter, no maintenance).

The second thing to go was a front tire. Our truck was pulling to the left and riding rough. This was on a Tuesday, a week before we were to leave. We saw nothing wrong with the tire at that point, so we didn’t know what to think. The next day, we prayed for safety all the way to the dealership. Turned out, it WAS the tire. The belt had separated inside the tire. Those particular tires were on the truck when we bought it. Apparently those make of tires are horrible, only lasting between 10,000 to 20,000 miles. Our tires were at 21,000. We bought all new tires on Thursday…good ones!

The third thing to bite the dust was our trailer brakes. While hauling the horses to the vet for an out-of-state health certificate on Friday, Bruce realized our trailer brakes weren’t working. He checked the brake fluid reservoir, and filled it to capacity. When he walked to the back of the trailer and looked underneath, the brake fluid was gushing onto the ground like a geyser.

Thank You, Jesus, the vet office is right around the corner from the family farmstead and it’s pretty flat. Our truck is big enough to hold our trailer, and we made it back safely.

When Bruce crawled underneath the trailer, he discovered that one brake line had corroded all the way through and another one was just about to. It was Labor Day Weekend and all trailer repair outfits were closed. We needed to pull out on Tuesday and were running out of time. Praise God, it was early enough in the afternoon and we could make it to an automotive place to buy the parts we needed.

And a HUGE thank you, again, to the God who loves us all, that He provided the funds before any of this happened!

I would like to add that when we have to make decisions on anything, be it with the horses, failed appliances or equipment, etc. we always ask God for His wisdom in fixing it or what to buy to replace it. He guides us every time!

I shutter to think what may have happened if the brakes and/or tires would have failed as we hauled our heavy load into the mountains. But God always has us covered!

So, Thank You, Jesus that when we pray? You’ll sure enough answer and provide the means to fix whatever’s broken!

The elementary school I was working at was moved to a new school. It was renamed an academy and now serves both middle school and elementary students and is upgraded for the 21st Century. Unlike the past year, when my supervisor was a non-Christian and all my co-workers were as well, this year I have a Christian supervisor who agrees with me on most of the issues.

I have multiple health issues as a result of an autoimmune disease. The most miraculously wonderful thing to me is that it seems with everything satan throws at me, The Lord shows up and makes good from it just like He says He will. And for people who do not believe in miracles, I started this year in indescribably awful pain from something called post herpetic neuralgia which develops after shingles in some people. After 2 yrs and it becoming worse, I went on social media and asked for prayer from friends and family. 3 days later, I woke up to no pain. I am humbled and overwhelmingly grateful. Thank You, my Father for this mercy. May I use this gift to glorify You. Lord, please intervene and heal our nation like You did me. Thank You, Father. In Jesus Holy Name I make this request.

Father, What a joy to read the many blessings Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus have shared on this website.
What awesome miracles of faith have occurred in the lives of so many of Triune God’s children. Their sharing has encouraged my faith. I am stronger for their the strength the Lord gave them in times of need. Thank You, Lord. The words from the song, “I can’t remember a trial or pain, You did not recycle to bring me gain”.
“You are always been faithful.” With all who have shared, I join with them in being so thankful I know Jesus as my Lord and Savior. From there, “the sky is the limit” on the blessings the Lord pours down on His people. Too many to number; however, I am so thankful that my roots have grown deeper into His love this past year as I have dug into His Word more fervently and frequently. I have so far to go, but feel I have reached a new level of wisdom which will enhance my relationships with all I meet as I attempt to be “salt and light” in a dark world. I pray all will come to know Him as their Savior. In Jesus’ Name. Amen

Amazing is His faithfulness to me. To us. And even moreso as I meditate on the past path I walked on oblivious to the error of my ways. Our ways as a nation too. Yet…He remained faithful to do what He said He’d do…never leave me nor forsake me… long suffering and hopeful that I would see and turn and pray as I sought Him for His ways and to walk on His paths. Humbled by His love ❤️

We had an unusual and difficult thing happen to our son in 2019, but the Lord rescued him and is restoring him. He did not lose his job but is thriving in his job this year. No one in my family has lost their jobs. No one in my family has contracted COVID-19. My church has been open since Mother’s Day. Our pastor chose not to cave to fear. God has been so good to us. He is answering many prayers. I walk by faith and not by sight. God is at work rebuilding and restoring though we may not see answers yet. He is so faithful and good. I give Him praise and thanksgiving for His faithfulness and goodness.

Thank you for the opportunity to see the blessings of our powerful God in this year of stress and discouragement. I am thankful that we have the opportunity to share God’s peace in a world that is full of unrest and fear. Although I struggle with fear on a daily basis, I also know that God is in charge and knows the intimate details of my life. He knows I’m afraid and daily gives me the grace to continue.

Praising God this year as I celebrate 15 years cancer-free, the birth of my first grandchild, and my son’s wedding. Praising God also for His provision, as my husband and I experienced only brief furloughs from work due to COVID. This year I also learned to treasure my church family more than ever after going through three months of online only services. It is so sweet to be back in fellowship!

Today is my birthday. I am 59 years old and my testimony is that my God is faithful. He moved me from Canada to this nation to pray for the Jewish people here to make Aliyah and for revival to be birthed out of Pennsylvania, the nation’s womb. He has connected me to passionate intercessors, prophets and Jesus followers here and 2020 is no exception. He told me last August to become a citizen so I applied and got in as one of the last cohorts before CoVid shut down the process. He continues to allow me to be in the midst of His plans and purposes. My family has thrived financially in this season allowing us to sow in to His kingdom and give to those suffering. I am humbled by His kindness.

I have been disabled since January 2017. For 2 years, my previous employer paid me 60% of my salary every month. Finally, in June 2020, I was approved for Social Security Disability. I received a huge backpayment check that provided the furniture I needed for my new apartment (had to move out of the previous one because the family was selling their house). I was able to pay off all credit cards. Now I have no debt and am able to afford to live in this awesome apartment and spend a lot of time in intercessory prayer like I want to. God has been faithful every step of the way.

There are many things that I count say/write down but they have already been spoken of so beautifully by many other intercessors. But I will say this:: I have had an impression this year that gets stronger every month, of how much love and grace He has and is pouring out on all of us, every day: in the midst of all the chaos that has been going on around us, from the coronavirus to every other abnormal happening throughout this whole country. Thank you Father, thank you Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit. I love you very much. Thank you for loving me and choosing me to be your daughter. You are so faithful. May we believe your Word and not doubt/reason it away, but trust in the Lord with all your hear and do not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight, Be not wise in your own eyes……………………Proverbs 3:5-7
God is sooooooo good.

God has been so faithful! At the end of 2019, I was fired from a very good paying job because I didn’t get a flu shot. I was having difficulty for months accessing savings and such, but was successful in early March!
Despite what has been going on, I feel like I am living out Psalm 91.
The Lord has blessed my gardens with abundant growth – no damaging insects, no diseases, able to can and freeze and share with neighbors and family. My fields have had incredible grass to feed my animals with very little expense for hay as has been in the past.
A friendship with a neighbor was repaired! Some chronic injuries that I have been living with for years are almost resolved … He even blessed me with the joy of seeing different wildlife babies grow up this summer on our land and come out during the day to eat and play …and I can go on.
Most importantly, my relationship with Jesus has grown so much deeper. There is no end to His love and mercy!
I am thankful to have joined up with various prayer groups this year.
I have grown spiritually by asking for forgiveness and really trusting in the Lord and His Word!
It has been an encouraging year by witnessing firsthand God’s provision, protection, correction, and direction.
In January, I wrote down that 2020 would be a year of changes, challenges, and victories. Praise the Lord!
And now, we are joyfully waiting the arrival of our first grandchild… due any day!
This year has convinced me that God’s people don’t have to fear anything or anyone but Him. He is Faithful and True, makes a way when there is no way. Great is His love and mercy. Thank you, thank you, Lord!

On two consecutive weeks, I found a cardigan sweater with a hole in the center of my back. God brought it to mind as I arrived at 6:30 am regional prayer, the 2nd of January this year. One of the intercessors began to pray for protection for “the target on my back and those I love. The others joined and I felt blessed. Five days later my husband made a left turn onto a major highway after dark, in a snow squall. He was hit by a pickup truck who had not turned on his lights. The impact was enough to total both vehicles and leave the truck’s engine on the roadway. My husband felt “God wrap his arms around me.” He walked away without a scratch!

Although 2020 had it’s challenges in itself God has been busy taking very good care of me. First I never got sick this year and at 71 yrs old I am considered “a risk” for COVID…but God!! I haven’t been staying home I volunteer regularly and don’t wear masks either. I do keep my distance though. Then in the beginning of the year I was able to payoff most of my car loan due to an unexpected Christmas gift … a check for $5000 so my car was paid off in April and living on Social Security that was great. a few months later my Sliding doors were making a very bad noise and going off the track I was able to fix them and have a young man replace the lock on them for under $30. Later this year I was handed an envelope by one of my pastors with $1000 cash in it. I was able to refinance my home and my new payment is a pittance compared to others I am paying less than I would for renting one room and I have a 3 bedroom 2 bath house. There are many other incidents that have happened this year I could go on and on but my AMAZING, WONDERFUL GOD blesses me beyond measure every day and I love Him with my whole heart. I want to encourage all those who are struggling financially that God sees our faithfulness and honors it. Don’t give up keep on giving because it doesn’t matter how much your tithe is what matters is that you are OBEDIENT AND FAITHFUL! You can NEVER out give God and He is SOOOO FAITHFUL to keep His promises. I am so looking forward to what He has in 2021. He never disappoints!!

Just the way He has always been faithful!
He does not change with the conditions of men or with their acceptance of Him!
There is no shadow of changing; no ebb for His faithful and steadfast love, only abundant flow!
The most emphatic thing during this hard time is an increase in awareness of the consequences that the lost will have to face for not accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior and a renewed commitment to pray for them.
I could write a book or two and they would not be sufficient to tell of His faithfulness!
I am so thankful for the testimonies of those who have shared their stories. It is very uplifting to me.

He has been so faithful to me !
I had a dream about all of this over 15 years ago , and last year I asked Him when all of this was going to happen . He gave me Habikuk 2:1-4
He also told me that it’s going to be Christmas all year !
He is restoring my home , my family ! I’ve been praying for years for people to wake up and they would hear the voice of the Lord .
He is speaking loudly to people. Waking them up . He is a good God . It is the goodness of God that leads to repentance. He didn’t do this , but He is allowing because He wants freedom for His people.
Total freedom ! The freedom He paid dearly for us to have that us being pushed down from another party that is against God . The Antichrist movement. It’s not going to happen ! God is sooooo good that He would form a boy in a mothers womb , and I wonder if she knew that her little boy would be the one to deliver a nation !
God is good !

The Lord has been so faithful to our family during 2020 and we are so grateful for the many miracles He has performed for us. Two months ago he saved my son’s life through a very rare and risky heart surgery. The doctors said he had a high chance of not making it through the surgery but through the grace of our great God, he survived and God continues to heal him daily. Lord you have blessed my family through this difficult time. You’ve brought our family closer together. We’ve gotten a lot closer to the Lord. We are stronger, He’s given me peace and comfort. We have shelter, food and our needs have been met both physicality and spiritually. Anytime I start feeling overwhelmed I go directly to the one who loves me and died for me. My husband and I have gotten closer as a couple and read the word every day. Thank you Jesus for your blessings.

There are so many tings to rejoice in and give thanks to the Almighty. Of coarse salvation, good health, provision and shelter, but as I reflected on this question I’m most thankful for the joy, peace and contentment He brings into my everyday life. While so many are consumed with the fear of Covid, I can only proclaim thank you Lord for Your protection, but mostly for the contentment and peace I have each day as I “draw near to You”. I will always sing the praises of My God for being Jehovah Shalom, Jehovah Shamah, He is the faithful God.

This year has been a stellar year! He has awakened me to a more intimate relationship with Him through intercession. Clearly intercession = investing. Investing in what brings pleasure to our Lord. He has blessed our family abundantly! He has kept us healthy, and indeed increased my husband’s health, so he now know longer needs a strong heart medication! He brought our son through a major heart procedure, and even with an already weakened heart, he survived and is “in [good] health, prospering, as his soul prospers”. Our grandchildren are all believers, with a 7 yr old being baptized this week. I could go on and on; suffice it to say, “Great is his faithfulness”, and we give him all the praise and glory❣

God has been faithful to us in 2020… At the beginning of the year, we had a litter of golden doodles and we were able to keep one puppy, Sweetie & sell the other puppy.
My husband’s Tree Service continued to prosper here in Western New York because he was an essential business and we have been able to give or sow into every good work.
I was able to spend time in prayer and seek the Lord due to not teaching at school. As a census worker, I was able to pray in my local area. I am thankful to be back at school with the kids!
There are only 4 cases of Covid in our rural county & I am thankful for the blood of Jesus and health over the people!
We bless President Trump and all those in authority over us and I’m certain President Trump will have 4 more years to do God’s plans!

I have had the same anxieties that everyone else has had. We have been healthy, so the anxieties are not from illness. My periods of anxiety have come when I see the hate and scorn demonstrated in our nation. This past week observing censorship of a major news outlet has been particularly frightening. I have awakened some mornings with “butterflies” in my stomach. I immediately hear praise songs to God or recall comforting Bible verses that remind me of his sovereignty. I thank you, God, for your promises to be present in all situations!

Psalm 34:1, 4, 7 NKJV
1. I will bless the Lord at all times,
His praise shall continually be in my
mouth.
4. I sought the Lord, and He heard me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
7. The angel of the Lord encamps all
around those who fear Him,
And delivers them.

I would have lost hope if I had not believed I’d see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. He gave my husband and me a second chance at life. The devil tried to snuff it out this year 2020, but couldn’t. We are testimonies of his goodness and faithfulness….Living miracles of his powerful presence. We love you Lord. Your a good good Father!!! Our trust is in you.

There are so many things that popped into my mind that I’m very thankful for. Number one is a strong Pastor. He was one that sat in on meetings with the governor. He helped in the fight to keep churches in our community meeting safely. He held several one hour services on Sundays with groups of 10. Easter was a glorious whole group outdoors worship service. That form of meeting went on till the weather was too warm.

I hear about churches in other states with draconian governors and shake my head. I hurt for my brothers and sisters in these states. Trust me, I do not take this freedom for granted!

GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS ! This year HE has blessed me (us) with health and bounty. At age 81, I am now a 23 year survivor of stage 4 cancer. While the investment market took a dive, my assets increased in value. Yes ALL I have needed HE has provided, and I thank and praise HE ,for HE is good and in control of all things.

3. Received my class B license in 2 states.
4. Gave me a nice place to live.
5. Gave me a good friends.
6. Restoring my relationship with my daughter.
7. Getting to know my son-in-law.
8. Put me into a church family in CO.
9. He took me out of the desert and brought me to my promise land.

When covid broke out my husband and I moved to Wyoming..it was the best decision!
we moved back this week to california to be with our kids for a couple months but
it was so good for our relationship in Wyoming. I am so thankful for that experience
and if covid hadnt have happened we may never have done it. We have learned alot and have
come together alot in our political points of views as well. We have to learned that
we dont need everything to be happy..that being simple, even though forced upon us,
was a good way to go in time, money, and
focus..Being focused on God has been harder because we didnt feel like we could fellowship, but
I believe it will be a stronger experience once back in church because we wont take it for granted.

The Lord has been so good to me and my family during the lockdown and after. We were able to have our daughter’s wedding in our backyard, we were able to continue babysitting our granddaughter, eventually after months of separation I was able to get together with my sisters. We even went on a trip together, just before travel restrictions were out out. He has provided supplies when there were none, companionship throughout, and I learned to prune my life to what is important. He is a miraculous God.

Staying Faithful to God is many times very difficult. My Life is no exception. At a time a number of years ago, when I was on the verge of losing my job, God was there for me. I am in AW of the way things worked out and know that God and the Lord Jesus Christ were responsible for me keeping my job. Was it divine intervention with my boss? I don’t know! But, I was able to continue in my employment up to my retirement and thank the Lord everyday for his Love!

No one on this earth can ever out do the works of GOD! Keep your faith strong and never waiver, even in difficult times, like today. God is always there and is always listening!

My husband was planning on retiring May 2020 but he felt an urgency to do so in January. On 1/31/20 he retired. On 3/3/2020 I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Metastatic Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma and COVID-19 hit. God knew I would be going through this and He allowed my husband to be there for me. I am now cancer free! Praise The LORD!!! God did that for me!!!

Dear Friends in Christ,
This New Year I worshiped in song and prayer to bring in the new Year I prayed psalm 100 that says enter into His courts with praise and that is exactly what 2020 has been to me it was in the first month of this year when the Lord spoke to me and said that this was going to be the best year that I ever had yet then two months latter the virus was everywhere and the Lord opened up opportunities for me to reach out to people that I never would have reached out too and most of them I didn’t even know yet they were in need and many were confused and hurting, I have continued to do this in many different ways and in doing so has been one blessing on top of another for me. Thank-You Jesus, Mary Bailey, Temple Texas,
