I Prayed have prayed
Abba Father, all your children have gone astray and need the Good Shepherd to lead us and deliver us to true life in You. Help us to inspect ourselves with Your Holy Spirit and Your Holy Word of Truth. Help us when we are sad, or sick, or hurting.

A recent article by Christianity Today identified the #1 search for Bible terms – in terms of percentage increase – during 2021 as sorcery as Christians search the scriptures to learn more about a specific activity involved with sorcery called pharmakeia.

In this word study you will learn:

  • Pharmakeia is connected to fear, sorcery, idolatry, and adultery in a strong religious bond of faith.
  • Sorcery and Pharmakeia are used by heads of state throughout the Bible, and by all the kings of the earth at the end of time.
  • Pharmakeia uses poison which has adverse effects of harming through severe organ damage or death if it is ingested, breathed in, injected, or absorbed under the skin.
  • Pharmakeia is associated with abortion, child/human sacrifice, and animal sacrifice.
  • Those who engage in pharmakeia are preparing, distributing, and administering these substances and practices and/or receiving them.
  • Pharmakeia is a false hope and deception of false peace, false healing, and a false future.
  • Participation in sorcery activities without repentance prevents a person from receiving the Holy Spirit.
  • Participation in pharmakeia without repentance forfeits a person’s right to enter the Kingdom of God.

Participation in pharmakeia without repentance places people in danger of the lake of fire, which is the second death.

What is the difference between pharmakeia and sorcery?

You can participate in activities associated with sorcery without participating in pharmakeia, but if you  participate in pharmakeia – you are absolutely participating in sorcery.

How does God’s word define sorcery?

A quick visit to Deuteronomy 18:9-14 provides a list of activities associated with this practice that are considered unacceptable to God including: child sacrifice, divination or rebellion against God’s instructions, conjuring spirits, studying omens and signs for the purposes of predicting the future, practicing sorcery or witchcraft, practicing magic and casting spells, consulting mediums to speak with the dead or talking to individuals who can communicate with spirits.

Do you see pharmakeia in there?  The root word associated with it is.

When you search for “sorcery” in the New Testament, you will find the use of the Greek word pharmakos (Strong’s Greek 5333) in Revelation 9:21 where it is noted that even after the 6th Trumpet blows those engaged in sorcery fail to repent.

Revelation 21:8 tells us what happens to those who choose not to repent. They will experience the second death along with cowards, unbelievers, those who are abominable, murderers, the sexually immoral/adulterers, idolators and all liars. Revelation 22:15 explains they are excluded from His Kingdom.

In Acts 8 in the New Testament, Simon the Sorcerer was performing signs and miracles through the power of sorcery, not the Holy Spirit. When he asks Simon Peter how he could purchase the Holy Spirit, Simon Peter explains that he would not be able to truly receive it until he repented of his behavior.

According to Britannica, pharmakos was a Greek religion that was associated with human and animal sacrifice. Pharmakos is used as the equivalent of the Hebrew word kasap (Strong’s Hebrew 3784) within the Septuagint, a translation of Hebrew text into Greek.

Kasap appears in Deuteronomy 18:10 as the English words: sorcerer or witch.

Is there is a connection between government, sorcery, and idolatry?

Yes.

Throughout the Bible, sorcerers serve the heads of state. Sorcerers served as advisors to Pharoah’s Court in Exodus 7:11, and Nebuchadnezzar’s Court in Babylon in Daniel 2:2. Both kingdoms were clearly idolatrous with kings who considered themselves gods to be worshipped.

Even in Israel, Samuel draws a direct line between the two while rebuking King Saul in 1 Samuel 15 stating that “rebellion is the same as divination (sorcery) and pride is the same as idolatry.” After Samuel’s death, King Saul, experiencing great fear against a formidable opponent, consulted a sorcerer to serve as a medium to contact Samuel for knowledge.

We know from Psalms 115 and 135 engaging in pride or trusting in idols dulls your spiritual senses and understanding, rendering you blind to the works of the One True God.

The Egyptian sorcerers (magicians) were eventually able to identify the finger of God at work, but helpless to stop His judgments once they were fully underway. Babylonian sorcerers could see the writing on the wall, but not discern it. Even religious leaders in Jesus’s day were unable to identify the finger of God at work, accusing Him of casting out demons by sorcery.

All three groups were caught by surprise when the Kingdom of God came upon them suddenly.

Malachi 3:5 warns that in the Coming Day of Judgment, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will be a swift witness to testify against sorcerers, adulterers, perjurers, those who defraud wages, oppress widows, oppress orphans, and deprive foreigners.

Is there a connection between sorcery and adultery?

Yes.

Sorcery is often paired with seduction and idolatry, resulting in illicit, immoral union or adultery, both physically and spiritually. Covenant language all throughout the Bible discusses the harlot bride who has strayed from her vows and faith in the one true living God by going after other gods she has not known. Spiritual adultery is the fruit of idolatry.

In Revelation 2, Jesus warns 2 separate churches to repent from behaviors associated with sorcery, idolatry, and adultery.

Thyatira’s church faces very serious judgment for non-repentance with reflections back to the 10th Plague of Egypt or Babylon’s Humiliation in Isaiah 47 as children are struck dead. Pergamum’s church was located in the same city as the ancient world’s largest medical complex and school – The Asklepion (note that the writer of the blog linked here is not a Christian–she clearly explains the pagan rites of this “healing center”). Both churches are warned about the idolatry, sorcery, and immoral unions encouraged by Jezebel and Balaam – who instructed others to seduce God’s people to sin. Both churches are warned that they are at enmity with Him if they remain unrepentant.

What is pharmakeia and its associated profession?

According to Strong’s Greek concordance, Pharmakos is related to the word pharmakon, defined as a composite of remedy, poison, and a scapegoat (human preferably, but also animals.) It is connected to the Greek word for plough, derived from words meaning to cut, pierce or scrape.

We know that the last days will be as in the Days of Noah. Interestingly, the name Noah means comfort and he is credited by rabbinical scholars for inventing the plow.

Pharmaceuticals often provide comfort from fear and symptoms associated with an illness or condition, but may not necessarily heal the root cause of the person’s medical condition no matter how many times symptoms are addressed.

Pharmakeia (Strong’s Greek 5331) appears in Galatians 5:20 regarding the acts of the flesh which include: sorcery, sexual immorality, impurity, debauchery, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, and orgies. Walking by the Holy Spirit prevents us from gratifying works of the flesh.

Pharmakeia also appears in Revelation 18 where it is revealed that Babylon the Great, the mother of prostitutes and abominations on earth has deceived all of the nations with her sorceries (pharmakeia). All of the kings of the earth were immoral with her – again connecting heads of state with this particular sin.

Pharmakeia is defined by Strong’s as “the use of medicine, drugs or spells, or the practice of administering drugs, drug-related sorcery, or the practice of magical arts.” In the Septuagint, we find this word used twice in Isaiah 47 again during the humiliation of Babylon as the prophet delivers a message from the Most High God that she would experience the loss of her children and become a widow in one day even if she takes her stand with her spells and sorceries. Isaiah exhorts her to continue in her ways because perhaps she will succeed or inspire terror (Isaiah 47:9, Isaiah 47:12). Babylon is a god in her own eyes.

In that culture, the use of pharmakeia drugs also served as abortifacients, largely so the immoral sexual activity could continue without consequence and temple prostitutes could retain their figures. The use of such products are prohibited in the Didache, an early church document providing newly converting, formerly pagan Gentiles with the basics of faith in Christ.

Pharmakeus (Strong’s Greek 5332) is identified in Revelation 21:8 as an occupation within sorcery (pharmakon) identified as a “druggist or preparer of poisons.” There is religious fervor of strongly held beliefs included with this occupation.

The pharmakeus mixes together potions, drugs, or poisons to work magic to weave pseudo (false) supernatural stunts and illusions (deceptions).

Medicine.net defines poison from a medical perspective as “ Any substance that can cause severe organ damage or death if ingested, breathed in, injected into the body or absorbed through the skin.” They go on to point out that many substances that normally cause no problems, including water and most vitamins, can be poisonous if taken in excessive quantity. Poisoning typically requires treatment to recover and is tailored as an antidote to the poison. First the poison, then the cure.

The individuals preparing, and using, these preparations often believe they have special spiritual powers that do not operate with scripture – such as the ability to end or extend life or heal.

The truth is only the One True God heals, gives life, or takes it away.

Our medical gods can be found in modern medicine, alternative medicine, or even obsession with physical health above our spiritual health. It becomes idolatrous when we choose to give credit to any of those things for healing instead of the God who heals us.

Again, to recap what we have learned:

  • Pharmakeia is a false hope and deception of false peace, false healing and a false future.
  • Participation in sorcery activities without repentance prevents a person of receiving the Holy Spirit.
  • Participation in pharmakeia without repentance forfeits a person’s right to enter the Kingdom of God.
  • Participation in pharmakeia without repentance places people in danger of the lake of fire, which is the second death.

Does that mean all medicines or medical practices are inherently evil?

No.

What this means is that it is imperative that we seek God, and test the spirits, to ensure we are not participating in it and ONLY operating in His will for us. He alone heals. He alone saves.  He alone provides good wisdom and gifts for His children. He alone knows the difference between the knowledge of good and the knowledge of evil. Only His Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth. Not one recorded miraculous healing in His Holy Word indicated any serious adverse events or death.

Walking in obedience and repentance will help you exit the Mystery Babylon or Egyptian healing systems that remain today so that you can come out of it and not share in the sins or expose yourself to the diseases you are at risk for when you continue to operate within it.

The temptation to engage in sorcery and/or idolatry often begins with a significant fear. Idolators and sorcerers would work in concert with each other to sacrifice humans and animals for the perceived provision of health, food, good weather, fertility, etc.

Why aren’t the sick coming to believers for healing today?

Those who believe in Jesus should have the power of healing as a sign that they are operating under the authority of Christ according to Mark 16:17-18 (NASB) which says:

“These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Why aren’t the sick running to the Churches asking for the elders to anoint them with oil instead of running to medical clinics, pharmacies, and hospitals? Why aren’t people begging for handkerchiefs we prayed over like Paul? Or for our shadows to fall on them like Peter?

Depending on the source, 17-18.5% of American hospitals, more than 700 hospitals nationwide, are affiliated with the Christian faith.  Are they more successful than non-religiously affiliated hospitals? Why or why not?

True Healing

God promises in His character that He himself defines in Exodus 34 to visit the sins of those who hate Him to the 3rd or 4th generation.  Hate is the opposite of love. Jesus defines loving Him as keeping His commandments.

His called out (of her) ones have not kept His commandments well. As such, we have not loved Him like we should and have used His grace as a license to continue sinning – knowingly or unknowingly, rather than repent and stop sinning.

We are just as scared to death of death and sickness as everyone else and that fear and unbelief renders us powerless.

Where do you run first when you are afraid – God or man?

We have forgotten our first, perfect love that casts out all our fears and we must return. If we don’t, our fears will drive us to engage in idolatry and sorcery so that we feel comfortable again. But if we do repent and stop sinning ourselves then experience His healing, perhaps we will be in a better condition to take care of the sick and the hurting who don’t know Him.

When we run to Him first, we are not likely to participate in fear, idolatry, sorcery, or adultery.  We are trusting Him as provider, protector, and deliverer to take care of all of our needs. In the world today as these things we have relied on to keep us comfortable are slowly removed, perhaps the Finger of God has come upon us quickly worldwide as a result of His mercy, His goodness, and His kindness to show us where our faith is actually rooted.

If we ask for His help, He is faithful and just to forgive us then point us in the right direction again. He will always point us in the direction of life more abundant. In His great mercy He is slow to anger, exhibiting great patience, so that all will come to repentance.

Abba Father, all your children have gone astray and need the Good Shepherd to lead us and deliver us to true life in You. Help us to inspect ourselves with Your Holy Set Apart Spirit and Your Holy Word of Truth. Help us when we are sad, or sick, or hurting and please give us Your wisdom and knowledge to be able to recognize all forms of sorcery in our lives, and especially pharmakeia. Help us to be strong when we are weak. Help us to walk in Your Ways on the good path in the direction of life everlasting.  Gather us up when we stray and say again to us, “This is The Way. Walk in it.” Father help us to repent, rest and then sing as on the night of a festival when You bring healing for Your people as You promise in Isaiah 30.

Please share your thoughts on pharmakeia in the comments.

Are blood thinners considered pharmekia or sorcery?

    Brett

In my research, there is a distinction between ancient Pharmakeia/Pharmaceuticals and medicines. Medicines can help people. I believe they are from God. Pharmakeia involves the mixing of medicines with other evil, vile things that are not medicinal in any way but are added to invoke Pagan spiritual powers. Such additions to the medicine were commonly remnants of an aborted baby or human sacrifice – typically sacrificed as part of a ritual.
So, since our society has rejected God, some of these ancient, pagan practices have returned. Check the ingredients in your meds. Beware. Keep in mind that most vaccines and many other medicines now have been infused with aborted fetal cells. Do your research. I hope this helps.

As an author & journalist, I have been writing a lot about COVID and the vaccines for almost two years at, ampatriot.wordpress.com and last year released my 2021 Edition of “Revelation 18 and the Fate of America” book which details what is going on in America and how it compares to “Mystery Babylon” in the Book of Revelation, specifically Rev. 18. The first edition of the book was published in 2013 as a warning to the U.S.

Pharmakeia, are you kidding me? Most churches would not even know how to do the above real healing from Acts. Also do they ever stand up to these small g, gods, who force things on their parishioners, by that I mean most medical doctors who only care about their license. I sure would like to know of one.

I believe that we all need to repent of trusting in all these things associated with Pharmakeia. I know I do. I was taking pain medicine everyday and one day God led me to fast and pray. I was on several medications that I needed to stop taking and God helped me be able to get off of them and find better ways to manage my auto immune illness and my pain and I am doing well with that. I am asking God first now to help me when I feel sick or I am in pain, but I am still struggling with my complete and total reliance on Him and Him alone. Please pray for me. And as God helps me I hope I can help others. I have replaced the pharmaceuticals with physical therapy and functional medicine, but I find myself crediting them with feeling better and I know it is God who deserves the glory. Pray also as I am currently battling dizziness and vertigo and have been praying all weekend for healing. My auto immune illness is affecting me greatly and I want to seek what God would have me to do. I hope every believer will pray through this issue and ask God to help them. We are so indoctrinated into believing this way of Pharmakei and I believe that we can only be set free by intense spiritual warfare. My prayer is God will continue to heal His children and set free those children of His like me so that more intercessors are raised up to fight on their knees in this battle.

This section of your article (on bottom of my msg) is of particular concern because it makes no distinction between black magic and meds. Can you please clarify? You also have a section that says “Does that mean all meds are bad” to which you answer ‘No.”
Isn’t it possible that these are different possible meanings – given not by God listed as definitions, but by Strong’s concordance?
This is the section I’m referring to:
Pharmakeia is defined by Strong’s as “the use of medicine, drugs or spells, or the practice of administering drugs, drug-related sorcery, or the practice of magical arts.
Thank you -and may God bless you.

What if 1 or more people get off their meds and they are healed? It’s possible. I’ve seen it happen in my own life and in the lives of countless others.

No one told anyone to go off their meds. No one said that all medications were evil. What is written about here has a clear checklist and if you are taking medications that fit that profile it might be worth sitting in front of your Creator to discuss that with Him. If you are taking anything it is worth sitting in front of Him and asking Him – is this good for me to take or is there another way?

A good example of what very likely IS a pharmakeia drug is mifepristone, which had this article yesterday: https://ifapray.org/blog/fda-makes-it-easier-to-get-abortion-pills/ and this article I wrote last January explains where that drug comes from and how it got here: https://ifapray.org/blog/abortion-news-praise-and-peril-dont-miss-this/

This article was too BROAD to be of value or give understanding to the body of Christ. I’ve taken an antidepressant for about 25 years, I did try to stop taking them and experienced depressed thoughts and feelings.
For 25 yr. I have struggled with shame and guilt because so many Christians believe it is wrong to take antidepressants. I might add many Christians are filled with pride because they don’t take antidepressants and believe only mentally weak people take them.
Have you considered that suicidal people take them because they don’t want to commit suicide? Did it occur to you that people taking antidepressants enjoy emotional stability and are grateful for their medication?
It is not your job to judge and condemn people for taking antidepressants, especially if you are not a physician.

I’m concerned with some of the comments I’ve read in response to your article. You’ve invited people to make some potentially dangerous inferences with regard to the medications they are currently taking. I urge you to prayerfully respond to those comments with clarification so that folks won’t infer wrongly what your intended message is. Thank you, and God bless you.

Thank you for writing your reply. As I read this – I felt so sick to my stomach.
I think everyone on this site loves the Lord very much and the worst thing to them
would be to offend Him.
I know off the top of my head about 3 doctors who are Christians. They trust God and
are happy when medicine works too. I do not believe they are going to hell for helping
people and what about ‘Doctors without borders’? There are people going to the persecuted
church and treating them with medicine.
I always need a scripture to take the confusion away – and this one came to me:
I think of Proverbs 17:22 that says
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: But a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Would the Bible say it is doing good if it was something that could send a person to hell?
Of course, sorcery is wrong – but reading that medicine is also a definition for sorcery just
does not sit right.

I love word studies, but I am a bit confused at the “target” you aim for. Are you saying that we should be wary of the pharmaceutical industry, doctors, and medicine in general? Is your thesis that we need to rely upon God for our healing instead of seeking out medical help? What about the vaccines & treatment for this man-made virus? How do we draw the line, how do we know where that line is & how do we fight against this forced parmakia (as I think I’m seeing your thesis)?

About 22 years ago, I learned the truth regarding communion. Churches I attended offered communion maybe once a month if at all. 1 Cor 11:27 was taught in a fearful way… that a believer had better not have sin before they received communion. Hello, we are all sinners saved by grace and none of us apart from Jesus are worthy on our own.

Jesus said…”as often as you do this, do it in remembrance of me”. When God revealed truth to me, I was set free to receive communion regularly, even at home on my own. “By His stripes we are healed” (Is 53:5) is a verse that we can hold on to and stand in faith believing He will lead us in the right way, either to a doctor or to THE “Doctor”! I have been healed instantly and quickly several times and always go to my “Doctor” for a “consultation” before I go anywhere else.

“As often as you do this” brings us to the place of remembering what Jesus did for us at the whipping post as we eat the cracker, bread, etc.. His back was laid bare for our disease, sickness, ills. His beard was plucked out, a crown of thorns on His head, He was spit upon, mocked, all this was for our healing. When I bring myself to remembrance of this, I can’t help but begin to praise Him for all He has done for His children, including me. Praise then brings me into His presence and we know that in His presence is fullness of joy. This makes it so very much easier to hear from Him, trust Him and receive from Him that of which I am asking.

THEN, it doesn’t stop there…the cup is the seal of our salvation, His Blood shed for my sins, past, present and future!! And I find myself wanting to “do this often” as He and I are drawn so close together during this wonderful time called communion.

Jesus, I ask for revelation, truth, and healing to come forth to your church regarding ALL You have done for us in the gift of communion. We open our hearts, our minds and your Word to see your love and provision You have so freely given. Thank You that You knew what we needed even before we gave our hearts to You. You are truly wonderful and we give You all praise and glory. Amen.

Perry Stone and Joseph Prince both have excellent teachings on communion.

Well said! For anyone this resonates with, I highly recommend the book “Getting Well God’s Way” by Kathy Bates. She shares her journey of healing and what God revealed to her in the process. It’s scripture heavy and made me see things in a whole new light while I was having to relearn all I was taught to believe about health. Honestly, I cannot understate the impact this book can/will have if you read it with an open heart and mind. I refer to it as “the book I can’t shut up about!”
God literally provides all we need. We just have to understand HIS plan and design of our bodies. Make sure you have a highlighter handy…you will need it!

I am a mental health professional, and have written about this topic for years. Psychiatric drugs are very bad for humans. They cure nothing, ate ALL addictive if taken for a long time, and worst of all, they greatly interfere with the working of the soul.
The soul controls the mind, feelings and the will—but people do mot understand that psych drugs can do the same thing. Ever wonder what prompts these random acts of violence in our nation? Is it craziness? No, it is the action of these drugs on the mind, feelings and will. Christians should learn about the drugs. A good place to start would’ve the works of Peter Breggin, MD. He has written many important books on this topic. His latest is about covid 19, but an older book Medication Madness, will acquaint your with the damage these drugs can and are doing.

I have worked in the generic pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years. Towards the beginning of my career I had a profound encounter with Jesus Christ and was born again and filled with The Holy Spirit. I saw a statistic one day that showed that the US makes up less than 5% of the world’s population but takes over 60% of all the drugs manufactured on the planet. This shocked me to the core and The Holy Spirit prompted me to write a series of devotional books entitled Gospills. My contention was that although I have seen the benefit and benefited from the power of modern medicine. I believe that God’s Word is the best medicine you can take and that God’s preferred method of it’s delivery is The Holy Spirit (see proverbs 4:22-JUB). Although God requires that we put Him and His Word/Spirit first in our lives, He does sometimes guide us to see a certain Doctor (remember Luke was a physician) or to take a certain medicine to help us along the way. God knows we are all at different levels in our faith walk with Him, and that sometimes to get us where He wants us He uses methods that may not be His best, but can none the less get us across the Jordan. We Christians have such a tendency to throw the baby out with the bath water. I have found that putting God first in your life means to learn to walk in His Word/Spirit and in so doing learn to hear from Him and be led to places where we can find healing. We are eventually led to a place where; instead of always needing diving healing, we can walk in divine health. What is better than healing? Health. Who or what is better than Jesus? Nothing and No One!

I pray people will read this, repent, turn from pharmakeia, and take back their health. I fell it’s important for us to use the medical field for emergencies after we have sought God and natural ways of healing ourselves. Much thanks to the author(s) of such in-depth, informative, Scriptural & historical explanation & insights on pharmakeia. To address a question you asked about hospitals associated with the Christian faith, I think there can be a difference. I just recently walked through a medical issue with my sister diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. She scheduled surgery at a Christian-based hospital. Before her procedure our family was in prayer for her, we laid hands on her & asked for God to use the surgery to heal her, to guide the hands of the surgeon, to comfort & uplift her, with thanksgiving that it was diagnosed in time. I asked God to use the experience, after a year of incredibly challenging situations for her, to His glory in Her life. After the surgery, one of her doctors walked into the room where 2 believers in my family visited her. He asked, ‘Are you believers?’ which I have never heard a doctor ask. They replied indeed, they are. The doctor told them the surgeries they perform for her condition don’t normally turn out as smoothly and better than expected as hers did and that God had shown her favor. This experience affirmed God’s power to heal through the wisdom He has granted to those in medicine. The doctor may more boldly share about God. My sister & family were affirmed in trusting a God Who is merciful, compassionate and Healer, and we praised God with unbelievers in our family, sharing this as a testimony to His Divine power in healing. My sister has faith, but doesn’t attend a church or read her Bible. My prayer is that God will spur her heart to lead her to a church & His Word. I want doctors who are open to God & His use of medicine, not their own human wisdom and abilities. I have experienced being mocked and lectured by unbelieving family in medicine, through marriage, that doctors don’t like to hear about prayer in healing, when I posted on social media request for prayer for my son. He was told by a pediatric dentist as a child that he had been ‘dealt a bad hand’ in life & that he would lose his teeth. I REBUKED HER. left the practice, wrote her a letter, told my son we were going to believe GOD for his teeth & asked friends & family to join me in prayer for oral surgeries and procedures he would need. This family member brought me to tears when I was less spiritually mature with her hatred. He is 21, has not lost a single tooth, & I continue to pray & trust God that he will not. Whoever is trusting in ‘vaccines’ as the great hope to return to life as normal when a virus is confounding human wisdom in science and medicine, is missing God’s message in this hour. Whoever is soothing themselves with pharmaceuticals or illicit drugs our leaders want to legalize, decriminalize and do not care are being imported into this country in vast amounts are lost. I pray for good Christian counselors & churches to rise up to point the way to Jesus as our only hope, not our last.

Thank you! What a beautiful testimony. My appendix burst when I was 49 and the doctor at the ER missed completely what was wrong. I almost wouldn’t go back to an ER because this doctor also did something terrible to me and gave a diagnosis that was a complete lie. I was so devastated, but the nurse came in and brought comfort and words of truth. I went home and got sicker and sicker until a week later I went into shock and had no choice but to go back to the ER. I chose the ER of our small town this time where I knew one of the employees. I had emergency surgery and they discovered my appendix had been burst for awhile. But God was at work. Several from my church were praying with my family members in the hospital waiting room. I was in ICU only 3 days. I was in the hospital a total of one week. I was back on the road in ministry in two weeks ( my family and I traveled and shared the message of the Sanctity of Life). You are absolutely right. We need to trust God’s leading and pray to Him and He will guide, heal, bring believers together, encourage our faith, strengthen the faith of others, especially those He called to care for us. And He can turn bad situations into good for His glory.

As a side note. I used to work in the medical field. One facility I worked in had a fabulous rehab department. They were removed from the facility after about two years. There were rumors that they were too good because they got people well better than before they came in. The quality of care suffered after that.

I pray that the light of greed be continually exposed on the medical profession. Forgive them ABBA.

If unsaved. Pray that loving laborers will be sent across their paths and that it would be someone they listen to to share and accept the gospel.

I ask God to open the ears and eyes of medical people who are saved. Pray Lord grant them repentance to the acknowledgment of the truth that they can renew their minds and be delivered. Lord break the power of darkness over their eyes.
It is written, I command the enemy to come off of their minds so they can see. That the fog will come off of them and they will realize they are lost and need the master and that he is their savior.

Our God does not violate free will. If people don’t choose Jesus that is their choice. We cannot force others either.

If they don’t choose, then we pray again: Lord, give them another opportunity to send laborers across their paths again. Lord give them the opportunity to repent again. As long as there is breath there is hope. We cannot receive for them. Say Lord touch them and minister to them to receive.
Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers. In Jesus name. AMEN.

These prayers are an excerpt from an episode called Blind man at Bethsaida from Faithschool.org.

Anonymous, just for you. This really set me free.

Emotional Healing by Praying Medic

Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows… – Isaiah 53:4 NKJV

Recall a negative event in your life. What emotion do you feel when you think of that? If the emotion is sinful, ask God to forgive you and RECEIVE His forgiveness.
Then say this:
“Jesus. I ask You to take the feeling of _________ away from me.”

“I ask You to heal the wound in my soul.”

“I receive Your healing.”

If you feel like God wants to give you something in exchange for what you give Him, ask Him for it. (Example: peace for anger, joy for sadness, acceptance for rejection.)

Take a breath.

When you go back and think about this event, what emotion do you feel right now? Repeat until you have no negative emotion. When there is no negative emotion, you are healed!

Powerful information and teaching. If only, (IF ONLY) this could be preached and taught from every pulpit in America and across the world. Perhaps that will happen in such a time that we are in… I pray that be so. I have shared this with my f/b friends, many of which are of the Mormon faith. I am concerned for them since I grew up with and went to school with them and love them and yet managed to not embrace their faith. God, help the Body of Christ to embrace the harder truths that will ultimately set us free.

I grew up extremely sick almost every day of the week would severe allergies/environmental illness, narcolepsy, continuous colds, nervous tics, Etc. Everything doctors gave me and did to me made me worse so in my late teens God Lead Me to a book called- back to Eden. Later he led me to work under some very gifted teachers and I learned that God’s food, herbs, and most of everything he has made-he has made to heal us and pretty much everything man has made is toxic. I have seen God knockout cancer, AIDS, hepatitis C, and pretty much everything when people ate God’s food the way he made it and Juiced his food – especially wheatgrass. Also I was instantly healed and many other people were healed through following the Bible’s directions of confessing repenting and forgiving that Wellspring Ministries teaches in Alaska and be in health ministries teach in Thomaston Georgia. I’m in my sixties now and in the last ten years after very intense studies it is highly likely I was vaccine injured as a child and definitely injured by a tetanus shot 10 years ago. I tried to remember to ask God several times a day to give me his eyes ears heart and mind to see everything from his perspective and when you get into that habit you begin to understand how God made our immune systems ward off sickness and defend our bodies when we use his tools for health and healing-especially his word! Fear and anger and all negative emotions / spirits blow out the immune system and disrupt over 30 hormones in cause thousands of toxic biological responses and any medical system that does not understand that and deal with the spiritual / emotional component first- along with building the immune system and integrate living Foods especially Sprouts and microgreens and green juicing, and use God’s resources to protect against electromagnetic radiation- then that medical system-such as the present Western allopathic medical system- of symptom treatment with magic pills and Magic shots is foolish in God’s eyes! Revelation 18 23- pharmakeia will deceive the Nations – and it has for centuries but rapidly accelerated when Rockefeller knocked out naturopathic schools and gained control of medical schools using propaganda and Strongarm tactics and shaming against herbalists a naturopath while pushing pharmakeia/ drugs/symptom treatment.

Hello, I suffer from mental illness. I won’t give specifics, except to say that medications have helped me through the years and I have viewed them as being necessary for my overall well being. I was tortured as a child and though I am 60 years old, I still suffer the consequences those many years ago. When I was 12 years old a friend introduced me to Jesus and He saved my life!!! I realized that He was always there through all the horrible times, loving me and making a way for me to survive. But, I still struggle with fear and trust. I am an intercessor and I feel in some very small ways that I have a thorn in my flesh, which enables me to have compassion for others. So though at times I feel suffering, I also feel closer to Jesus. As I read this article, I became concerned about my use of medicines which I truly feel help me, that perhaps others would see it as a lack of faith. I am struggling even now to accept myself as Jesus has already done. I’m not sure why I am writing this, except to say, please pray for me. I have too many unshed tears.

After reading all the comments, I still feel that there is a lack of understanding regarding suffering. I am thankful for all of the prayers offered on my behalf. The abuse I suffered produced a chemical imbalance in my brain. The medications I take help with that imbalance. Before, when I commented about my mental illness, I was feeling dejected by the article and some comments, which caused me to question my decisions regarding my mental health medications. I felt defeated when I wrote before. There is a lack of compassion for those who suffer as I did. If you know anything about ritual abuse, you know just how evil can attempt to destroy a life. Jesus Christ saved mine! I have had a Christian psychiatrist and a Christian counselor and I am relying on the Lord for my healing. The medications I take are in addition to the therapy and are much needed. Ritual abuse can strip you of your personhood. Jesus showed me a child worthy of a Savior. I want to demonstrate compassion to those who suffer and not judge them for doing the best they are able to at this moment in their lives. We are each on a journey. Let’s walk along side of those who suffer and demonstrate God’s compassion for them and love. Thank you dearly for prayers! We are at most PEACE when we are in HIS PRESENCE!

Praying for you. “See what an incredible love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not acknowledge us is that it does not acknowledge Him.”

Amen. To just put it bluntly, many Christians have more trust and confidence in physicians than in God Almighty. The sins have brought Egyptian sicknesses upon the church and instead of repenting we run to the same pagan and worldly sources of healing as unbelievers. By the stripes of Jesus we are healed. If we believe we can heal others in his name. Let us return to first love, forsake idols, holy living, ask God for gift of faith so we can be healed and heal unbelievers who will then glorify our God. I was healed at 17 by Jesus and since then now 43 never looked back. He alone is my physician and He heals and keeps his own in divine health if they chose to trust him fully. It’s time.

1 John 1:5 …God is light and in him is no darkness.
James 1:16 Do not be misled (deceived) my beloved brethren
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with Whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

When the doctor prescribes medications are we going through the pros and cons of it? Are we trying to decide if the desired affect out weighs the possible long list of side effects??
Are we going into intercession against the side affects hoping we will shoo them away?!

Luke 11:11-13 if a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?
Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!
