I Prayed

Make no mistake, we are under attack. Attack on our biblical values and worldview, our families, and our nation. The next few months—especially until the November 3 election—are critical.
I have been praying for strategy and a clear word from God. Here is that strategy:
The Nehemiah Strategy
What we see is nothing new. The spirit behind this attack is the same as what Nehemiah encountered in biblical days.
Nehemiah was a leader. God put on his heart a burden to restore the walls of Jerusalem, which had been broken down and the gates burned with fire. (Sound familiar?)
What transpired next is exactly the same spiritual attack leveled against us today. Nehemiah and the Jews were mocked, name-called, shamed, and threatened as they came together to rebuild their land. (Neh 2:19, 4:1-3)
The constant harassment worked. Fear rose up until their strength began to fail (Neh 4:10). We only have to listen to the news for five minutes to have fear planted in our hearts and feel our strength fail. Like in Nehemiah’s day, it is a strategy to get us to stop.
TEN TIMES the Jews went to Nehemiah to repeat the murderous threats they were hearing (Neh 4:12). They became convinced that “Wherever we turn, they will attack us!”
And because they feared for their lives, the people retreated.
But Nehemiah refused to be moved. He refused to listen to the threats, because he knew THEY had a call to rebuild the walls. He couldn’t do it alone.
This is our call as well! We are to rebuild the broken-down walls of America!
How did our walls get so broken? It didn’t happen overnight! It was an insidious strategy to remove God in our nation, destroy the nuclear family, promote abortion, and normalize and legalize what God calls sin.
It’s time we rebuild and here is what we are to do.
#1 – Don’t be Afraid.
Are you afraid? Afraid of sharing the Gospel? Afraid of challenging what you know to be a lie? Afraid of disease? Afraid of verbal or physical attacks? Afraid for your life? Fear is not from God. It is a strategy to paralyze you into hiding and silence.
Are we willing to stand up, speak out, and resist EVEN if it means we lose our reputations? Our jobs? Or our lives? It’s a sobering thought.
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. (Mt 16:25). We cannot allow fear to keep us from engaging in this war.
#2 – Don’t Confine at Home.
We are being told that it is time to shut down again because COVID is coming back. Did you know there is a word for us in the Bible on this? Look at Nehemiah 6:10-11:
We learn that Shemaiah, a fellow believer in God, is CONFINED AT HOME! He then “encouraged” Nehemiah with what looked like a godly word, “Let us meet in the house of God, inside the temple, and let us close the temple doors, because men are coming to kill you.”
Was it godly wisdom or fear? We learn the answer from Nehemiah’s response.
Nehemiah responded, “Should a man like me run away? Or should someone like me go into the temple to save his life? I will not go!”
We must not allow fear to dictate our actions. The inconsistencies are staggering. As a result of closing down from the pandemic, America went from functional 100% to the worst unemployment rate in decades. Billions of dollars our government doesn’t have were pumped into an economy in free fall. Yet now we are being told that if we don’t close down again, COVID illnesses will harm the economy! We are told to wear face masks and avoid gathering in church, while we are told that protesters and rioters are safe from COVID. These policies and positions don’t concern for the good of all the people, but promote an agenda.
There are powerful people whose goal is to shut down our country until after the election and mandate mail-in ballots which opens many opportunities for voter fraud. A progressive win in the White House and Congress will mean removal of God completely from America and movement to a global society under the United Nations.
So what do we do?
Take action!
I believe Nehemiah’s strategy is our strategy for this hour.
We need to:
- Fast and pray (Neh 1:4).
- Repent (Neh 1:6-7).
- Remind God of His Word (Neh 1: 9).
- Rally people to rebuild (Neh 2:17).
- Ignore their threats! (Neh 4:14).
- Stand up and take action (Neh 4:14).
Nehemiah stood up to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them,” he encouraged, “Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”
It’s time to fight for our future. And we all must be engaged.
In Nehemiah’s day, each person/family/tribe took a portion of the wall to rebuild. Some took a small portion, others took large portions. Each did what they were able.
The result was the walls were rebuilt in just 52 days.
We need to recognize that if we will begin to rebuild what is on God’s heart, He will step in and do His part. We will see miracles which we desperately need right now. We need God.
We have approximately 120 days before the November 2020 election. This election will greatly determine the fate of our nation. This isn’t about choosing the candidates you like best. This is about voting biblical values based on the platform positions that reflect the good government that God desires for us.
Make no mistake, we are under attack. Are you willing to say, “God, whatever you ask me to do, I’m willing, use me?”

Karen, while I concur that God’s people are under attack from Satan and that we should not fear him but to turn to God in prayer, I can’t agree with your two “Don’t” suggestions. You couch your first suggestion as various “fears.” However, many of us see what you are describing as cautions, not fears, and caution is also a biblical principal. Jesus Himself reprimanded Satan for suggesting He jump off the Temple roof. He called it “putting God to a foolish test.” To not take precautions against the disease of coronavirus would be putting God to a foolish and unnecessary test. We are to use the common sense God Himself gave us.
Similarly, to not confine ourselves to our homes (the second “don’t” you list) but to go about “business as usual” would be another test to prove God’s ability to protect us. Certainly He is able to do that, but He would not have us unnecessarily put ourselves in harm’s way, when taking precautions would do the trick.
Thanks for the call to prayer, though. I join you in praying for our country and our elections, that God’s will will be done.
This is such a practical and spiritual thesis. I plan on sharing it with many people. It is spot on regarding the American situation at this time. I now have a clearer understanding of how to pray and how to stand and a conviction to fast. God have mercy on America. Thank you for this article
Heavenly father, we have truly messed up as a country. We desperately need You now, and also in November!! Please, please intercede on the upcoming elections. We have failed You, God – abortion, homosexuality, pornography, rioting, the list goes on and on. God, for the sake of those who still believe You are in control, PLEASE help the USA!!

Great exhortation and direction
Another side of the coin is the enemy is under attack and the gates of hell will not prevail against us. We are as I write tearing down those defensive obstacles and going into this hell and restoring what has been stolen which is our Kingsom rights and dominos here on earth!

This morning, during my time in God’s Word, I was led to Job 38:8-15. Would you join with me in declaring that the Lord will deal with “raging humans” in the same way He deals with raging seas?
“Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb, 9when I made the clouds its garment and wrapped it in thick darkness, 10when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place, 11when I said, ‘This far you may come and no farther; here is where your proud waves halt’? 12″Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place, 13that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it? 14The earth takes shape like clay under a seal; its features stand out like those of a garment. 15The wicked are denied their light, and their upraised arm is broken.”

That is so encouraging. However, a Pastor in KY has had 2 dreams. The first was last Dec. and the 2nd last month. God showed him the future which so far has played out just as GOD SHOWED HIM.
Because this nation has not repented on a National Scale of government funding of abortion; and the endorsing of unnatural lifestyles, I suspect we will have a civil war in NOV and the Globalists with the help of China, Russia and Muslims, will take over this government. I Pray I am wrong. According to the Pastors dreams he says were God speaking to him, God’s word was “Brace yourself”

America is under attack because the spiritual walls have been breached. We have allowed sins of many kinds to be made into law. We have snubbed our noses at God and have let Him know that America is so great that we no longer need Him. I fail to understand why we think that God would destroy other nations, but allow us to continue in sin. God’s Word is Truth. Israel had walls and today many other nations have gone in and practically rules them. It is not physical walls that are needed. The walls that need to be rebuilt are spiritual. Repentance, prayer, humbleness, love, respect, integrity; these are just some of the building materials we need to be using. Keeping immigrants out is not the solution. KEEPING JESUS OUT: THAT IS OUR PROBLEM.

We are being attacked!
I am just sick over what’s been happening in America. It doesn’t just make me angry, it makes me sad. I find myself thinking back to when times were better and everybody was happier. Christianity was respected more, traditional families and traditional marriage were respected, the LGBTQ community wasn’t so in-your-face with their way of life, and abortion wasn’t pushed to the extreme, either. And the police were allowed to do their job to keep us all safe. Nowadays, Christianity is being attacked so badly, that being a Christian has practically become a crime. Traditional marriage and traditional families are being attacked to the point that these things have also practically become a crime. The LGBTQ agenda is being pushed on small children with the intention of indoctrinating them into this ungodly way of life. Abortion has been pushed to such an extreme, that it’s now legal in New York for a mother to end the life of her baby at the moment of birth! And now the Left wants to defund the police! What’s going on in America makes me so angry and so sad that I feel like crying! Every night before I go to bed, I pray to the Lord that things will get better. This is not the America I and many others grew up in. It may seem like God is not hearing our prayers, but believe me, He is. Everything happens in God’s time. We just need to keep praying, be patient, and wait on Him.

Once a upon a time, all the evils of our society was looked down upon such as homosexuality, same-sex counterfeit marriage, and now another new sick depraved activity called transgender. For over 10 thousand years men & women knew who and what they were now fast-forward to this insane time and these loons now question their gender and act confused. Gee, I think I’m a gal or, I feel I’m a guy really? How brain-dead have we become? The worst part is, the sex changes from one sex to another and there is no doubt in my mind that this surgical procedure is a huge colossal insult to God and a slap in His face. To imply that God didn’t know what He was doing when He made us either, man or woman and then to alter that by surgery I find that to be a massive sin in His eyes. Do I have to bring up the on-going genocide and slaughter of our precious innocents? All this stupid insanity I have to blame most on our misguided Supreme Court who legalized same-sex counterfeit marriage implying that Almighty God didn’t know what He was doing when He created man and woman, to love one another and to be married to one another. He did not create Adam & Steve. I could say a lot more but, I hope the public gets my point. One final thought. America will be judged for our rebellion, defiance and plain disobedience to His will. Heaven help us.

Yes, I have prayed that and am working hard to get our Demo Governor recalled, and Trump elected. Sadly a Pastor from KY shared his two dreams on YouTube. He believed God showed a civil war would erupt in Nov as the election news hits the news media.

Lord I come before you and ask that you would help us to stand with our armor on and in the power and might of the Holy Spirit in these last days. Help us to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. Father, I call forth the zeal of the Lord that Jesus had for Your house to rest on Your people. Blow the trumpet, assemble Your people to gather together and war in the heavenlies. Hi, just being honest here, I like Intercessors for America and what they stand for which is of course spreading the wonderful gospel and truth of our wonderful Lord Jesus Christ. I thought, a lot of times, the articles here were judgmental and were more written in a condescending way (my opinion) and it moved me to shame and guilt rather than action. But this article … wow! … so true. I want to pray and be the hands and feet of Jesus in any way I can. I repent of my own sin and sins and I want to be true love in action to the unwanted and wanted. Because, I’ll tell ya “Love is not winning” like they say it is. I don’t think I ever seen so much blant hate … ever. We are teaching our children to lovingly hate, not sacrifice in love when it hurts sometimes. Truly, I wish I could change it all. Praise God for confirmation: I had read the Biblical account of Nehemiah rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem, and believe God revealed the present time in History of America fits each part of that account. May this strategy from Karen Hardin be taken up by believers all over America and the world, and may we see the defeat of the enemy on every side, trust the power of God to save us, and see President Trump, and many governmental seats filled with God fearing men and women of integrity, guided by God to restore and rebuild America…..One Nation Under God….for His glory and our good. Why are the illegals in the USA, because it was authorized by the church, by allowing illegals in the pulpit. Only those with an anointing & office from God Almighty have authority to legally lead an assembly, and this authority structure has been defined in scripture; 1st Corinthians 12:28, and neither pastors nor evangelists are not called to lead an assembly, they are not qualified or created for that purpose, although they do have a part in the congregation in general. 🕊🦅🕊🐴🕊🐃🕊
The way to tell if you are in a scriptural assembly is simple: 2nd Corinthians 12:12 is there an apostle leading the church doing Mighty Miracles? You see Miracles have to be there to establish the word, as in Luke 16:20. In some or many churches Satan worshiper have discovered an easy way to get a paycheck is to go to seminary and become a pastor, and as many pastors with no anointing from God Almighty, they can hide unnoticed, but that doesn’t seem to bother many church attendees, just more illegals in the church authorizing it in the government. 🕊🌹🕊💖🕊🇺🇸🕊🦅

Why do you think socialists and communists have taken over the democrat party, because giving has to be by the Spirit of the Eternal Lord, it is called “The Way,” the early church walked in “The Way,” or in the Spirit, they didn’t have scripture at least the gentile churches like Corinthians didn’t, and those that did, only had the old testament. Nothing new here. The difference is that we are under such a concentrated form of attack. Since we are in the end times, Satan knows that his time is short. The devil is working overtime to steal, kill, and destroy. Praise you Lord God Almighty for raising up such a strong woman of faith in Karen Hardin. Her video and the vision explaining the spiritual battle America is in, is Your Word Almighty God. It is an awakening You have spoken through her. What is happening to believers in America and to our president is precisely accurate. I pray Almighty God that every intercessor listen to her video and put on the whole armor of God to fight against the darkness of this age. Let us fight in faith, without fear, for faith overcomes fear. And let bible faith and Your Word win every battle for us. Should our knees start to knock together in fear, we trust in You Almighty God and we press on. We don’t back down. We stay standing, in Jesus’ name, for You are our supply Father. You are the source of our victory. God is waiting on us, it is not the other way around.
Almighty God, I pray that evil be revealed and trampled on by Your believers, we warriors, because Jesus gave us the power to His power and authority in His name. Lord, may you also provide wisdom, discernment and supernatural spiritual and physical strength to help us stay standing as we fight in one accord to do Your will for America, for President Trump & his team, and for every believer as we fight for our families.
I pray for Godly peace to rule our souls so that Your Spirit be a calming and strengthening voice that we are led by in the day; as we lay our heads to rest at night, Your provision is restful, sweet sleep. Msy we sense Your presence always and know that we are safely in the palm of Your hand. I pray that Your Word continue to renew our minds, that our will be turned over to Yours, and that our emotions be used wisely.

Exactly! Praise God for this confirmation! Several years ago, when enduring extreme spiritual warfare, I asked hte Lord what I should do. His reply ‘read Nehemiah’! This is the key reference for this time we face before the great catching away. Many people are so afraid, I see it daily and am so sorry for them. They are looking for a way to escape – to run away and hide from the battle. But, I’m like Nehemiah – Nehemiah responded, “Should a man like me run away? Or should someone like me go into the temple to save his life? I will not go!”

YHVH I pray that we, Your people will not fuel the fires of useless arguments,but replace that tendency with silence and, when appropriate, words of wisdom and TRUTH. May we be FULLY armored with unremovable armor, and may we advance as a righteous army of Kingdom people, and not loose cannons. May we speak Your word and sing Your praises into the atmosphere over our individual and corporate realms of authority, to worship You, usher in Your Holy Spirit, and to displace and confuse Your enemy. May we know for Whom we are battling and may we recognize the inheritance that hangs in the balance, waiting for answers to heretofore unanswered questions about life and eternity. Help us gather and not scatter. Help us resist every evil tactic of the Jezebel and Leviathan spirits, by keeping our lamps filled with Your oil. Teat down every old structure of religion and raise up Your Kingdom structure! May the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in Your sight oh Lord, our Rock and our Redeemer! Let God arise and zHis enemies be scattered and fall down before Him!

Thank you Father for giving us wisdom and understanding with discernment in the time and season we are in today, and the time and season our nation is in. Thank you for holding up us in Your righteous right hand and what You have blessed satan cannot curse. Let the enemies our soul, our nation be rendered useless against Your will and plan for this nation and President Trump. Father I ask for You to stretch forth Your hand of mercy and healing over this nation. You are the mighty HEALER, heal our land, heal this nation, unify our nation to once again, be “one nation under God”. I ask for all the evil plots and plans of our enemy to destroyed at the root never to be able to rise again. I declare that our enemy has no authority or power to remove Your power from our nation and us as individuals and families. We will arise in Your Glory and in Your Power as we pray and seek Your face. I declare America will be saved and rebuilt according to Your will in Jesus name.
I agree this was exactly on my heart to pray several months ago. The book of Nehemiah wraps up this battle perfectly. If we stand together we will also see debt released and the Word of the Lord prevail everywhere.
