I Prayed have prayed
Heavenly Father, give Your wisdom to our President and military leaders during these difficult times.

Britain warned Monday that conflict might break out “by accident” between the United States and Iran amid rising tensions, as European Union powers gathered to thrash out ways to keep the nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic afloat.

The warning came after the United States announced the deployment of the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier strike group to the Persian Gulf to counter an alleged but still-unspecified threat from Iran, the latest in a long line of such deployments to the strategic region.

“What we need is a period of calm to make sure that everyone understands what the other side is thinking,” Hunt said. He added that he would “be sharing those concerns” Monday with European partners and visiting US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo…. (Excerpted from The Times of Israel and AP News)

Amen. There are no accidents in God’s universe. Everything has a purpose, but we are not always aware of what it is. If God tells us to have courage, be wise and be prudent, then we are in line with His purposes. Read and study and meditate on the Bible, pray, and build an intimate relationship with Christ. For some, this occurred when they were deployed and facing the possibility of death. For others, seeing miracles led them to Christ. We have prayed for revival for our country, but we don’t know the means God will use to answer our prayers. I pray that we find the least violent ways to protect our country and that our government is guided by the hand of God. In the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
