Q: Last week you gave reference to thanking God that you had COVID. What did you learn spiritually during your COVID experience?
President Trump: It was amazing to see so many great Americans who reached out and said they were praying for me and my family. This country is full of wonderful people with strong faith in God. Melania and I felt the prayers of Americans from all across the country – and even around the world. When I was at Walter Reed, I said, “There were miracles coming down from heaven.” I meant it – Melania and I are very thankful to God for looking out for our family and returning us to good health.
Q: You are regularly associated with influential Evangelical leaders what have you learned from them spiritually?
President Trump: I am honored to work with many Americans of faith, including our great Vice President Mike Pence, Faith Advisor Paula White, and so many others. These people truly love our country and love God. I hear and listen to them. Earlier this month, Franklin Graham and some other great faith leaders came to the Oval Office to pray for me and our country as they often do. These amazing people love the U.S.A. and have a genuine desire to work together for the betterment of all Americans. These leaders are passionate about America’s traditional values and want our churches to be open. I appreciate their prayers and am encouraged by their great faith.
Q: Given the support you have received from evangelical Christians in particular, do you consider yourself to be an evangelical Christian and, why or why not?
President Trump: I grew up going to church with my family in New York City. My parents taught me the importance of faith and prayer from a young age. Though I was confirmed at a Presbyterian church as a child, I now consider myself to be a non-denominational Christian. Melania and I have gotten to visit some amazing churches and meet with great faith leaders from around the world. During the unprecedented COVID-19 outbreak, I tuned into several virtual church services and know that millions of Americans did the same. Thankfully, many great churches are now back open and meeting in person. In fact, just this past weekend I visited the International Church of Las Vegas and enjoyed a beautiful service.
Q: What have you done to help persecuted Christians around the world?
President Trump: Under my leadership, the United States of America will always stand for freedom of religion. I brought Pastor Andrew Brunson home from a prison in Turkey. I sanctioned the communists and socialists in Cuba and Venezuela because they don’t respect religious freedom. My State Department held the largest human rights event in history several years in a row during which I hosted multiple survivors of religious persecution in the Oval Office. Last month, we highlighted the importance of religious freedom in the very first paragraph of the historic Abraham Accords.
Last year, I was proud to become the first United States President to host a meeting at the United Nations on protecting religious freedom around the world. In my speech, I reminded the world’s leaders that our rights do not come from government, they come from God—and I explicitly called upon the nations of the world to end religious persecution. I followed that event with an Executive Order on Advancing International Religious Freedom that solidified America’s own commitment to this critical issue, by naming it as a foreign policy priority of the United States and promising that we will respect and vigorously promote this freedom. My Administration has protected religious freedom worldwide by increasing funding for programs that aid persecuted religious communities. As I said at the United Nations, America stands with believers in every country who ask only for the freedom to live according to the faith that is within their own hearts. And we will continue to do so for as long as I am President.
Q: You have continued the efforts of past administrations to have a “faith-based office.” What specific results have been produced by the Faith and Opportunity Initiative since you established it in 2018 and what do you expect it to accomplish in the coming years?
President Trump: I signed an Executive Order in May 2018 that established a White House Faith and Opportunity Initiative to ensure Americans of faith have a voice in their government.
The White House Faith and Opportunity Initiative serves as the front door for the faith community. Under my Administration, we have established an office or liaison in every Cabinet agency for the first time. This office has hosted thousands of faith leaders for briefings at the White House to hear their ideas and partner with them on preserving religious freedom, protecting our values, alleviating poverty, strengthening marriages and families, increasing mental health care, curbing substance abuse and addiction, ending homelessness, reducing crime, and reforming our prisons. Led by Pastor Paula White, this Initiative is working to remove barriers which have unfairly prevented faith based organizations from working with or receiving funding from the federal government. I am very proud of the work we have done to safeguard American values and to protect our great First Amendment.

I read this on bible project.com just now and it spoke to me about our President, Donald J. Trump: “Psalm 34 reminds us that God is our refuge—our place of security in the midst of chaos and distress. This psalm teaches us to maintain hope in God rather than seek security elsewhere. When the future feels uncertain, we should focus on doing good, seek peace in our lives and our communities, and trust that God consistently meets his people in their experiences of exile.” He’s got a strong backbone but he is in the midst of chaos and distress. God is faithful, President Trump and He is by your side. He will sustain and help you through this most difficult time. I love it that you love America. President Donald J. Trump has done more in advancing the Pro-life, Pro-Church (my word) than any president in the history of my 60-year lifetime. The demons of hell are scrambling to steal, kill and destroy not only him but what our loving caring Heavenly Father appointed him to the office of President of the United States of America to accomplish in such a time as this (I am not using this passage as a cliché’). The value of life is being revived. Hope is being restored in so many areas and hearts. Evils being exposed for what it is. The warriors of the world have reached into their carnal arsenal and are pulling out every weapon they can get their hands on. We do not wage war as the world does, We have been given a uniform to cloth ourselves with, our armor. Before us, we have an endless arsenal supply that the Lord has given all mighty and powerful to cast down every false thing that exalts itself against our mighty God. As you pick the stone of prayer and intercession activating all of our weapons, then all we are to do is stand firm where He has placed us remembering, “Be strong and brave. Do not fear or have terror before the king of Assyria or before all this army that is with him because there are more who are with us than with him. With this king is a strong arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God who will help us and fight our battles. We will keep our thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten our thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always.

For several months, the Lord has had me praying in my morning prayers and before going to bed, for the Armor of God from Ephesians 6:10-18 to cover President Trump, the First Lady, his family, his staff and all believers. The Armor-the Breastplate of Righteousness; the Belt of Truth; the Helmet of Salvation; the Shield of Faith; the Sword of the Spirit; the Heart full of Prayer; and our Feet prepared to take & proclaim the Gospel of Peace. The Armor is to protect soldiers – God is our General, President Trump is our Colonel and we are their soldiers. Like all good soldiers, we need to put on our armor, our Armor of Faith. God is guiding & preparing us for the battle of life. Every day, especially now, is a battle..a fight to do what is right!! President Trump is ready, we must be ready too! Accept that we are in battle and will be persecuted for believing in Christ. Keep the faith and we all will be blessed. Matthew 5:11,12. I’m encouraged by the President’s words but even more by his actions. President Trump had the American Embassy moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in 2017, the year of Jubilee. This was a huge accomplishment considering that Jerusalem has been the capitol of Israel since 1967 yet other Presidents and other nations had failed to acknowledge it.
President Trump is also the first president to participate in the March for Life on the anniversary of Roe vs Wade by walking with other prolifers.
He is a great President–the greatest in my opinion, and I’m praying for his re-election.

Thanks for the information on Fox News. There is so much corruption especially in Ca. If I could tell you all I know it would curl your hair. That explain why when I have tried contacting about stories I wanted they said at first we are interested will get back to you soon. They never got back to me. Strange yeah the foreign countries and PP and many other bad groups have had influence on our nation that they never should have had. Ca was experimental ground for socialism I saw it starting in 2007. May have started before that but under Obama the decent and lies exploded. I am praying for Heb 4:13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from GODS sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of HIM to whom we must give account. This is what President Trump is trying to do thats why we must get him 4 more yrs. to finish what our lORD has called him too complete and he our brother in Christ knows this to be the plan.

I pray nightly for the President and his family. I ask God to protect him from the evil elements that are destroying, burning, looting, killing in our cities. I pray for him to receive wisdom from God to make the best decisions for our country and surround himself with others that share the same strong beliefs and value system our country has held since our founding fathers implemented them. In 2016, I wanted another candidate to win the debates to become our new president. As i watched many-a-good candidate fall by the wayside one at a time, I knew at that time that God was up to something. However, I kept the candidate of my choice in regard and watched, and watched until none were left except Trump. I wondered why God wanted such an outpoken, unpolished, person like Donald Trump. But now, I am so thankful he has been our President. He has a never-give-up attitude, a tenacity I have never seen before, not to mention the stamina. We were further down the rode to destruction as a nation than any of us really knew. He has brought to light the “fake news” and has shown America what was going on behind closed doors. He is the most transparent President we have ever had in office in my lifetime and I am 81 yrs old. I do thank God for the changes he is making in the President, still has a long way to go, but we would already be a socialistic country if Hillary had won the election in 2016. God has given us another chance. Pray we take the senate and the house and the presidency and punish those at the ballot box who let our nation burn and be trashed and looted just to make him look bad and out of control because it happened “on his watch.” A mighty work of God needs to be done to cleanse this nation of the evil path it has taken. I believe our President has learned and experienced more of God since being elected. I don’t believe people give God enough credit on how He is transforming President Trump. The presidents openness to God has brought on a greater awareness and greater faith. I believe he will continue to change and grow in his relationship with God in the next four yrs and beyond. The Presidency of the United States is a humbling experience everyday. President Trump represents and promotes those of faith. The bigger picture and plan is often to big to grasp and achieve. Men of faith arise! At an airshow at McCord AFB a fighter pilot was standing by a jet fighter answering questions. His response was often how blessed as a country to have such a advanced aircraft as this. The United States represents to the world freedom and liberty and the willingness to stand in the gap for peace. I served in the Viet Nam war as a loadmaster on a C-141. We would bring back home the wounded and the dead. Those coffins represented the ultimate sacrifice. Not to honor those or our national anthem is a disgrace. America is defined by our values. The only glue that holds our country together is our shared belief in God. We can not shame God !

My husband and I have been praying for our President and his family everyday. We cannot imagine what it must be like for them to endure all the false accusations. We are often reminded of the simple little song we learned in Sunday School as children, “The B-I-B-L-E, yes that’s the book for me. I STAND ALONE ON THE WORD OF GOD, the B-I-B-L-E, BIBLE! In these difficult, uncertain days of 2020 A.D. the Bible is the our only sure foundation we have to stand on. It is our desire that President Trump is reelected. We have also discussed what else might happen if Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris are elected. We (meaning my husband and I) have never had to endure any real persecution. Perhaps God wants to see just how strong our faith renally is. What are we willing to stand and fight for in order to preserve freedoms that follow our Biblical views?

In the early 1970’s my husband and I were students at a Christian College in Indiana. We witnessed one of the greatest revivals in that part of the country that began at Asbury College in Kentucky and then spread to our campus in Indiana. Classes were canceled until God had finished His work among us. Twenty-four hours a day the spirit of God settled on the college and did a mighty work. The revival continued to local churches in the area and other colleges. God did some mighty things in the lives of people. It is best said in 2nd Chronicles 7:14. If my people who are called by my name,(that’s me and you) will humble themselves and pray and seek will my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their land.
I, as a foreigner, can’t vote for him, but apart from that I am in favor of him over the opposition, since he has faith in the Lord. I pray that he will come to a living faith in Jesus Christ if he doesn’t have it already, and if he does, that he will continue to grow in Him. I pray that he will oppose the abortion lobby, the BLM, Antifa and other groups that are bringing so much unrest to America, and re-establish peace in the US. I pray that he may be faithful to his calling and listen to the ones who are clamoring for freedom from the madness of unproven vaccines, giving his ok only to such as can not just say, but prove that their ‘vaccine’ is totally safe. We don’t need any unproven vaccines, nothing with RNA instead of DNA and such things.

Read a proverb a day and many of them refer to our president and our congressman. Psalm 101 is a beautiful picture of how he is standing like David did for his nation. I pray for his entire family. Isaiah 45 also describes how he has been like Cyrus and how Cyrus was there to stand with Israel in hid day and now we have a president who is also blessing Israel. Again it is scripture I use when I pray for he and his family. I see Melania as a “Queen Esther” and Mike as a “Mordecai” alongside of him..

He has shown his respect for the Pro Life movement and the desire to shut down abortion in this country. That is to me the most important issue in the election this year. We cry for God to bless America, but as long as we allow the murder of the innocent how can we expect God to bless us. I would say to the president, please show this side of yourself to the public more often, we need to know that about you. Mr. Biden has adopted the “God bless America” statement now and says he is a faithful follower of Christ, as a Catholic, and yet supports abortion. Dear Father,
We thank you as a church that you are sovereign over us and that you raised up a King to lead this nation that defends religious liberty here in America and around the world through His influence. You have raised up such a man as this for this time, and we are thankful that He is being the salt and light in his platform of influence and that you have surrounded him with spiritual leaders. We are thankful that he receives the advice from men who are God fearing. Lord, we don’t know if he knows Jesus as savior and Lord, but if he needs salvation, we ask that you give him that gift of grace. Lord, let us be united as a church to be the example of Jesus Christ in this nation as we go forward, being repentant of our sins so that you will heal this land.
I thank my heavenly Father for a man of His choosing to be the President of His United States of America along with a Vice President that has such faith in the true Living GOD. I pray the come on bended knees to GOD for wisdom and knowledge to handle the corruption that raises its ugly head it seems like on a daily basis. By the way, what is a non-denominational Christian? I have heard of people attending what they call non-denominational churches, but what exactly is a non-denominational Christian? “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9). Another question: What is an evangelical Christian?

I absolutely pray for Trump and his administration. I am, however, stunned by the comments here. I have read a number of articles about Trump’s true feelings about Christians. By his actions and words, he is clearly not a Christian.
This quote is typical of what I’ve read: “But in private, many of Trump’s comments about religion are marked by cynicism and contempt, according to people who have worked for him. Former aides told me they’ve heard Trump ridicule conservative religious leaders, dismiss various faith groups with cartoonish stereotypes, and deride certain rites and doctrines held sacred by many of the Americans who constitute his base.”
Do you remember in the Bible..the story of Paul’s Damascus Road experience? Even IF what you have heard is true, don’t you think people can change and be drawn closer to what God wants for their lives? I hope that’s what we ALL are striving for! Indeed I am concerned that it is Christians who support Trump who have been led astray by false teachers. I have read WAY too much about Trump (not just from conservative sources) to believe that he has any respect at all for Christians or for our Lord. He simply wants the votes of those he panders to.

Milky, President Trump personally confesses Jesus Christ to be his Lord. By his actions to protect religious freedoms his is confirming his faith. I question if the quote you quoted is true. He is lied about continually. He is not perfect, nor am I or you. May we pray for him to continue to grow in the Lord, and not seek to be his judge.
I misjudged Trump, too, initially, but I realized that I was very wrong about him. I thought he was shallow, like many other celebrities, and just out for power.
God showed me that I was judging Trump based on his personality, and I was very wrong…When we vote for a candidate it is not his personality we elect so much as his principles.
God doesn’t always make sense, but he often uses unlikely people….People that others judge and pigeonhole. God is not so concerned with appearances as we are, but he looks on the inside.
The Bible says that man looks on the outward appearance, but GOD looks on the heart. You don’t necessarily even have to be a Christian for God to use you (however Trump is).
In the Bible, God raised up a heathen man, Cyrus, to be king. Cyrus was rough around the edges, but God saw the potential on the inside.
Cyrus did great things. He even issued the Edict of Restoration, which left a lasting legacy, on the Jewish religion….According to Isaiah 45:1 God anointed Cyrus for this task, even referring to him as a ”messiah”, which literally means anointed one’. He is the only non-Jewish figure in the Bible to be called so.
Donald Trump is rough around the edges, even abrasive at times, but God has put that fighting spirit in him because it’s God’s purpose for him to be a wrecking ball against the evil and corruption in our society that has gotten so brazen today.
It can only be by God’s power, and with this tough personality that he has been able to withstand such hatred from the media and others. The reason they hate him so much is actually spiritual, because he is exposing corruption in the world and in them.
Trump is blunt, and tough, but it refreshing to see that kind of politically INCORRECT honesty, rather than someone who is more political, and tells you what you want to hear, but corrupt underneath.
Trump surrounds himself with Christians. He is an unlikely person for God to use, but he is a diamond in the rough.
Trump is a defender of the Church, Israel, and the unborn…THESE are the principles true Christians should be concerned with, and looking at, instead of personality. Many people may not like his perdonality, but THESE are the things that are important, and determine how he will make decisions, and propel this nation.
Whether or not what you say is true, people change, and President’s Trumps actions while in office speak for themselves. There are many false Christians that believe in abortion and believe the worst of people. Who are we to judge President Trump’s heart, his true motives? We pray for his full surrender to God, protection, wisdom, and grace to fulfill his Godly destiny. We also pray for his enemies to repent, for God wants all to be saved.

My sister and I pray daily for our President and his administration; for their protection, wisdom, and guidance, and for the Lord to draw him and Melania closer to Himself. We pray for him to have an intimate, personal relationship to the Father through His Son. I believe that when he stated that he considers himself a “nondenominational Christian”, he was making a strong statement for leaving a denomination in order to identify himself with the Body of Christ. He’s on the right track, and if he doesn’t know the Lord in a personal relationship yet, he’s right on the brink of surrender. I firmly believe he will become a born-again Believer.

I pray a Rosary for the Intentions of Our President and for the return of our Country as “One Country under God by His law and his Mercy. As a Catholic I see we are praying for our President and our nation. I also see all other faiths praying for our nation, for freedom of speech and religion and to destroy the culture of death that has enveloped our country over the past decades in the name of “Tolerance” Tolerance for evil!
I pray our President Trump comes to the place where he professes aloud his faith in JESUS CHRIST FOR ALL TO HEAR. No where in this piece is Jesus mentioned. You can claim you are religious. You can claim you are a Christian. You can claim you go to church, are on boards and committees, you can give of yourself to the poor and disadvantages, you can be Pro-Life….. but if you do not claim Jesus….accept His life and sacrifice for you……. and PROCLAIM Jesus ….. you stand for nothing. I pray for the success and accomplishments this President has made…..and for his second term in office. I pray also for his soul that he might be transformed and a true witness for Jesus Christ.

This is President Trump’s first step in salvation (just like ours. Please allow the Holy Spirit to do the rest through bible teaching and reading, moving him from a young convert to spiritual maturity. We are told in I Corinthians to not judge anything before its time.

I have prayed many hours for this President and I believe God gave me something wonderful I hope many will agree. I was watching Jeremiah Johnson and his dream about President Trump and falling down before the finish line in the race for 2020 presidency. Studying Hebrew for a while now I have come to understand that there can be multiple purposes in a dream. I do believe that it was the baby boomers that are to pray this through with other generations. But this is when a deeper revelation came. From Rev 5:8 the golden bowls of incense. Prayers of those that loved God and prayer warriors that have gone before us. His great aunts from the Hebrides revival or Lewis Awakening that believed God to move in their midst. The same bible President Trump took his oath on and held up at the burned church. His Aunts one blind (the cane) and one with such bad arthritis (the walker) picked him up across the finish line for the win! The revelation I got that day was so profound and precious. Those bowls arent meant for Heaven they are stored until they are needed down here for our loved ones and nations that we intercede for. So President Trump’s heritage and destiny was well prayed for. His name comes from one of the intercessors of that revival. I pray from Rev 5:8 that the golden bowls of incense that have been saved up will be poured out on this man and this nation in Yeshuas name, to fulfill his God given destiny to see this nation Glorify God and give God the honor He is due. That President Donald John Trump will show all the nations of the world the heart and Glory of Our Heavenly Father and that those that havent known that Love and Compassion will be drawn to accept Yeshua and His Father for the greatest harvest this world has ever known. Also Psalms 5;12 God will surround President Donald John Trump with favor as with a shield and Psalms 91 that President Donald John Trump will dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I pray the same for Melania, his children and grand children too. His cabinet to be filled with men and women zealous for Gods agenda and the Kingdom of God. In Yeshuas name. Amen Think about this, not one of your prayers are wasted or for nothing they are saved up in heaven until the time they are needed down here for those we have left behind, those women have been in heaven for more then 50 yrs. Should spur each of us to pray more for this generation and the ones to come should the Lord tarry.

I and our church pray daily for our President’s faith to increase. I was delighted to hear him say in a rally this weekend that Jesus Christ is the One we look up to. This article was a blessing to read, and I pray that God’s favor and blessing will be upon President Trump and his administration as he serves this country for four more years. I pray for his protection, and that God will anoint him with wisdom and discernment as Holy Spirit continues to use him to move our nation forward. I believe President Trump is a Christian. Being surrounded by men such as VP Pence Franklin Graham & others I believe he has accepted Jesus as his personal Saviour. What denomination he follows is not important the main denominator is Jesus Christ which he acknowledges even in public. As the President he has to use wisdom also in how he answers interviewers which I think he did. Speaking of religious freedom at the UN was a wonderful thing he did. Thousands are being killed & persecuted around the world!

President Trump doesn’t clearly state that he has come to saving faith, declaring Jesus as Lord and Savior, acknowledging that Christ died for humanity’s sins and rose again on the third day – not a clear pronouncement of faith in the Gospel. This is what I pray for him – that he will be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit and testify that the Lord has saved his soul. When this happens, there’s no telling what God will accomplish through him.
He has confessed Jesus. He has known Paula white for the past 22years. Anyone who has a personal relationship with her would have heard the full gospel. And long before he announced he was running. He had faith based Christians at Trump Tower to pray. In 2011 he had many come to pray with him asking if he should run….he didn’t. It wasn’t Gods timing. He is doing what the Lord has instructed him to do. When you learn what he has done for years in his private life you see the heart of God. He is not a perfect man. David, Moses and meaning in scripture that had the faith and God did many mighty works through them. Our righteousness is in Christ. He changes our heart. This man has already accomplished things in this nation that no other leader has. First and foremost declaring Jerusalem the capital. Read Isaiah 45 ….. he is like a Cyrus. God’s mighty hand is on him. His strength has come from the lord. He is a very humble man in his private life. Has given glory many time to the lord. He knows he could not do what he has been able to accomplished without God’s hand and trusting Him. He is a New York fighter….who stands his ground. There have been so many opposing prophecies, either he wins and we have peace and freedom or God is judging us so there will be a new President. It makes my head spin sometimes but I am hoping and believing he will be re-elected are corrected. However, I realized through this that if he is not, I will be very sad for him and his whole family. I pray for them to be blessed and know Jesus. I think this time is a little more grace and we must pray for hearts to change including US. Otherwise we will be in the same place when he leaves and life could get very hard for all. As for his faith, He has had Christians, his administration and so many criticize his faith, he may just not want to talk about it now. If he sees us working beside him, lifting him up and not judging, he may understand grace and faith instead of having to run on his own strength always and be free of defences built up from battling all the time.
From the President’s answer as to whether he considered himself an evangelical Christian, he gives a vague answer, actually not directly answering the question. It would seem that although he appreciates and champions faith issues, his own personal experience is still not definite. He needs us to pray that he will find the Lord Jesus Christ for himself.
And we need to praise the lord Jesus that he is where he is right now, on a beautiful journey.

I have heard it said, from some people who are close to President Trump, that he has a “softer” side that most people never see in public. I would love to see him close one of his rallies by telling people in his own words how the gravity of the presidency has humbled him personally, and how the shear weight of the job has caused him to draw closer to God, and how he is not perfect (as none of us are}, but that he seeks to do his job to unify our country and glorify God.
He has said much of that in his rallies. He always refers to God. In NC he shared about being asked if he is the most famous man in the world. He answered saying “No, Jesus Christ is the most famous.”
At the rally where “We love you” chants first started he said it brought tears to his eyes- said “I’m not supposed to cry up here.” He speaks of how much it means to hear that.
Now he has shared his faith in an interview that we all get to read and pass on to others. I believe our President Donald J Trump has done most, if not all, of what you desire of him. I have witnessed his tender side. I hope you will too.

The one concern I have is there’s no mention of Jesus. “And this is eternal life, that they may know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom your have sent.” John 17:3. One of the first things the Lord did in my life when I got saved was to clean up my mouth in my heart. I pray that President Trump will have an encounter with Jesus Christ and he will open the door of His heart for Him to come in and change him from the inside out. I pray that God just doesn’t use President Trump, but fill him with faith In Jesus and anoint him with His Holy Spirit.

Heavenly Father, I am not one who has had dreams or visions, but I relish the times in the night while lying awake that I can walk with you in the garden and have my thoughts and prayers in union with Your Spirit. Many times my tears for a new America where people love each other instead of hating flow during our walk. I feel that is a cleansing and a calling in my soul for all in our nation who are invited to hunger and thirst after Your righteousness. I am one of the truly grateful citizens of our great nation to have God appoint this man, Donald Trump, to be our President. He is a businessman, not a politician, and we needed a businessman running our country. My one regret, which I hope he can change for me, is that he has thought he was good enough to stand before God. He didn’t need salvation by faith. This means the one fighting for our religious freedoms is himself not yet free. With Pastor Paula White of the New Apostolic Reformation as his spiritual counselor, he is in more danger than he was when he first was elected. My prayer is that he would see the truth in men like Mike Pence and Dr. Ben Carson, and commit his own life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Then let him take up his cross and follow our Lord Jesus.

In gratitude, we MUST pray for him to be blessed with a clear understanding of the truth that sets us free: that Jesus took our sin upon Him to make us righteous became we couldn’t. All our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. Our best is an affront to Him without the atoning Peacemaker, the Lord Jesus Christ.
To come short of that in a weak attempt at unity with a false gospel only shows that we care more for the affirmation of our own opinions rather than love for the president.

Amen! Thank you for your bold statement. There are more of us. On November 3rd, we will be voting as we believe God is leading us, Jesus first, everything else falls beneath Him. I still believe Trump is God’s man and will not vote against God’s pick. So, as I mentioned before, and as you restated, I pray that President Trump would chose God. The Bible says, “Many are called, few are chosen.” Often this is followed up with another question, “How can we know we are among the chosen?” The answer is simple. We know we are chosen of God if we choose Him back.
How can anyone stand before God and claim they earned salvation when God paid for their salvation with the blood of His one and only son? I think rather such a one would find themselves on a one way trip to the lake of fire. I’ve often said “If Jesus paid for all our sins, there is still one question the Father will ask, “What did you do with My Son?” If Jesus is their defense attorney they are good, but if they have tried to earn salvation the only attorney in that courtroom is the prosecution, and everything he brings up about a person on that day will be verified in the books God keeps. The Christian will find all those pages blank, being washed in His blood. I do hope to spend eternity with my Lord, my family, and President Trump, but he needs to realize he’s a sinner like everyone else and receive the free gift of salvation of God in Christi Jesus.

God granted him wisdom unlike any other, riches, and fame, as he built the Temple of the Lord. According to Dr James Dobson and others, President Trump received salvation in Jesus Christ a few months before the 2016 election. Statements he made previously are still being quoted. I’m so glad my past is under the blood and I will not cooperate with the accuser of the brethren by bringing up anyone else’s past words or deeds. Trump is a “young” Christian, described himself as a non-denominational Christian in this article, and has surrounded himself with evangelical Christians. There are frequent worship and prayer gatherings in the White House. Recently he was called the most famous man in the world. He corrected them to say “No Jesus Christ is the most famous person in the world”. When the Lord healed him in 3 days of Covid, he gave glory to Jesus Christ. Most news outlets do not show any of this! I see him growing and believe God chose him and gives him strength in the face of all the horrible attacks on him. I pray he is filled with the Holy Spirit and is led by the sweet Holy Spirit all the days of his life.
2016 would be nice, but he has made statements regarding his own goodness being enough in the past. Perhaps things have changed. There are a lot of people praying for him. As you have said, there are indicators that point to the fact that he is a Christian, albeit a young one. I am accusing him of nothing, except the occasional run of the mouth on twitter, as we are all sinners. Christians are those most aware of this fact, for they are sinners saved by grace through faith. The one problem person in his administration would be Paula White. Her teachings have heretical roots. Pray that she comes under the conviction of the Holy Spirit and may give our president proper spiritual counsel.

Yes, God did choose Him, that does not necessarily mean he is a Christian. I hope that he is, or soon will be. Yet God also chose Nebuchadnezzar to punish His people. Isn’t there any reason(s) that God might want to discipline the United States? And if you will remember the story of Daniel, it broke his heart to interpret the dream Nebuchadnezzar had where God would take common sense from the king and drive him out of the palace until he glorified and worshiped God. President Trump. A number of individuals and I from our church have been praying for you, your family, Mike Pence and your administration since May of 2016. We have realized Satan has been attacking you from every direction and have sought God’s help through His Holy Spirit to protect and guide you and your administration as you make all these important decisions impacting on our nation and people. You have protected the Christian and faith community, saved the lives of the unborn, supported law and order, made decisions to help Israel as God’s chosen people and helped our economy be strong through these incredibly difficult times. I too was raised Presbyterian, but am now a part of a strong Southern Baptist Church that believes that God can impact on the affairs of men if their leaders depend and seek the guidance of our Holy God through Jesus Christ. I hope you will agree to follow the scripture in Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart and don’t lean on your own understanding. Almost every day we pray for persons we care for and that includes the President. As our faith grows it behooves us to reach out to others to help them in any way we can. Intercessory prayer helps them as well as us. It is so great to have a President who is a religious person and a great person of faith. In these troubled times it is a great comfort that we have that type of person as our leader. It becomes logical to support him in every way we can, prayer is a great manifestation of that support and it helps the person praying as well as the object of that prayer. I believe we will see great things as a result of having this
