Lord, protect the freedom we still experience in our nation today. Please heal our land and give us wisdom of how to move forward..

A county in Virginia is discouraging parents from hiring private tutors for their children while refusing to provide in-person instruction in public schools.

“While [the Fairfax County Public School system] doesn’t and can’t control these private tutoring groups, we do have concerns that they may widen the gap in educational access and equity for all students,” said a memo from one of the nation’s largest school systems on Friday. Many parents are working together to hire private tutors to teach their children in small groups at home.

“We have received some requests from parents who would like to cluster groups or pods of students together with a specific teacher. From both a logistical perspective, and in the interest of educational equity, FCPS cannot accommodate such requests,” the memo continued.

While warning parents against at-home tutoring because everyone can’t afford it, Fairfax County also won’t let students come to school in person. Instead, public schools are resuming entirely online on September 8. With a budget of about $3 billion, Fairfax County serves almost 190,000 children in 196 schools. . . .

Fairfax County mom Anna Buchanan said her son’s teacher tried to use platforms other than the problem-prone Blackboard, but was told to stop. “Fairfax public school leaders have failed my children during coronavirus closures,” Buchanan said.

This is entirely ridiculous! I was a public school teacher, and any knowledge gained from parents educating their children at home was welcome in my classroom! If there were questionable items, we used them to investigate to find out which were verifiable.

This is all about control. Since they can no longer exercise total control of what the children are learning, they want to discourage all forms of learning that are not the ones they have stipulated. It’s to keep controlling the minds. Parents should go ahead looking for alternatives that better suit their way of living and their moral values. Children belong to parents not to the government or State….yet. There will be always differences in the education of people. Some have access to private schools, parochial schools, and public schools. Nevertheless, all of them are under the control of the government system because they mandate the curriculum. When the parents educate and choose how and what they will learn, it’s too dangerous for the system. Children and parents together can learn to think and learn by themselves. They will be able to see different angles and shades, they cannot be easily indoctrinated either be manipulated. Freethinkers are not welcomed for ANY government.

Holy Father,
Thank You for this article.

In Jesus’ name we pray that this Fairfax County school district will work together with parents to educate their children. And all other school districts will always work together with parents to educate their children.
In Jesus’ name we ask that all school districts will open this fall.

Lord, guide us with Your Spirit of discernment and give our teachers in this nation strength and Your wisdom.
Righteous Father, let Prayer be part of the school from grade to college.
Righteous Father, let the 10 commandments be hanged in every classrooms in the USA per student request in 2020.

Lord, I pray that all school districts (grade to college) enjoy:
1. The knowledge of You to increase;
2. Prayer to You to increase
3. Academic to increase
4. Violence to decrease and
5. Bold young Daniel to stand up and share the Gospel and be the influencer.

We thank you Father. Amen.

Simple addition and subtraction explains our current conundrum: deliberately dumb down the American education system by oversimplifying intellectual content, ban prayer in school (thank President Trump for reversing), substitute moral relativism for right/wrong ethical absolutes, equals a failed education system.

Collectively, the diminishment of critical thought, trivializing academic standards, and re-writing history, graduates young adults who are easily persuaded to follow group think and mob rule in the pretext of promoting social justice. Swimming in a culture whose chief source of information is social media apps, with content controlled by big tech leaders favoring a socialist world government, millennial and Gen Z youth are headed down stream while believing the waterfall of lies will lead to the Ocean of Paradise or Sea of Utopia.

Sadly, we the American taxpayers have paid for this transformation. At $15,800/child ($3 billion/190,000 students) it would appear the Richmond taxpayers could expect more. Such nonsense of ignoring your child’s need in order that all may suffer lack is ridiculous.

Father, we pray that the current education crisis will awaken American citizens. Expose the plans of the enemy and inspire parents to set-up a standard against reforms that will further erode academic excellence. We declare the system will be reformed, that students themselves will rise up and seek absolute knowledge, studying to show themselves approved, hungering for understanding, strategizing with inspired critical thought, and implementing divine application. Raise up astute men and women of God who will lead this nation according to Your will, In Jesus’ name. Amen.
