SUPREME COURT DECISION: UNIMAGINABLE CONSEQUENCES

A few years ago, most of us were surprised when the Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage in the Obergefell case. At the time of the decision, I was speaking a conference; I recall talking about the decision and the potential impact. I instantly felt the grieving in God’s heart as the highest court in the most powerful nation in history, founded in Christian principles, redefined His most basic expression of love: marriage. I wondered what the impact would be in our nation.
I had no idea.
I had no idea about gender fluidity–that a person’s concept of gender could move back and forth between male and female.
I had no idea that a person could identify as NEITHER male nor female.
I had no idea about the phrase “sex assigned a birth.”
I had no idea that a person must experiment sexually to determine what they like best.
I had no idea that I would have a friend whose nine-year old son would be asked by a boy to be his boyfriend.
I had no idea. I simply did not have the capacity to imagine the impact of the legalization of same-sex marriage would have on our nation.
Fast forward five years to this week when, once again, the Supreme Court of our nation ruled on sex in one decision based three separate court cases; Bostock v. Clayton County, Georgia is the lead. The Bostock ruling involves the question of what is employment discrimination on the basis of “sex,” as prohibited by Title VII. The term “sex” was determined to include: anatomy, behavior, gender identity, and attraction. Now all these things are within the broadest definition of “sex,” at the core of a “protected class” legally requiring a governmentally prescribed treatment.
Here is an explanation of discrimination written by Justice Neil Gorsuch – more on him in a minute – in the majority opinion: An employer who fires an individual for being homosexual or transgender fires that person for traits or actions it would not have questioned in members of a different sex. In other words: because a woman wears dresses to work, you can’t discriminate against a man who wears dresses to work.
Please read that paragraph over. Let that sink in. This is a twisted rationale that legally protects the idea that there is no difference between male and female in the work place. It’s not that everyone is equal, this ruling really declares everyone is the SAME. The God given – beautiful – distinction between male and female was blurred even before this ruling, with male athletes competing in female competitions, and men using female bathrooms, and more. Allowing women to wear dresses is “some” form of equality, but it is not the same as when men wear them, because men and women are NOT the same. This ruling treats everyone the same and calls it equality.
Obergefell redefined God’s definition of marriage. Bostock declares God’s differences between men and women do not exist.
The lines are no longer blurred. This ruling clarified the issue, we are all to be treated EQUAL because we are all the SAME.
I have no idea how this might impact our nation. But I do know the heart of God is grieving.
Just as I couldn’t imagine the societal, cultural, and national impact of Obergefell, which legally impacted only those 20% of same-sex couples who choose marriage (by the way, this is 20% -marriages – of the 5% – same sex attraction – of our population equals only three million people), I cannot imagine the widespread impact of this decision that has the potential to impact most employers and employees in the U.S. workforce – 157,000,000.
Justice Samuel Alito in his lengthy dissent describes this decision as “legislation,” “breathtaking,” and a “pirate ship.” He lists seven areas of potential impact, all of which guarantee the court system will be mired in cases for years to come based upon this ruling and the push for the Progressive agenda. The seven areas he lists are:
- Bathrooms and locker rooms opening to anybody
- Men competing in woman’s sports
- Assigning men and women together in universities
- Employees of faith-based organizations living in conflict with beliefs
- Health care requiring to pay for gender reassignment surgery
- Legal suits brought against employers who use incorrect pronouns
- The use of the Constitution to further application of the broadest definition of sex
One of the MOST distressing aspects of this decision is that one of the new “conservative” justices, Neil Gorsuch, wrote the majority opinion, including: “…few in 1964 would have expected [the Civil Rights Act of 1964] to apply to discrimination against homosexual and transgender persons. But legislative history has no bearing here.” In other words, we can take previous law and apply it to circumstances that were never intended. This topic is broader than this article, but the promise that Justice Gorsuch would interpret the Constitution as the Founders intended just crashed on the rocky shore line of hope. Where does this stop? The hope that Justice Gorsuch would defend the biblical values of our Founding Fathers as written into the Constitution are gone. What a sucker punch!
We all know the impact of Roe v. Wade. Sixty million lives exterminated.
We now know the impact of Obergefell. Cultural changes everywhere we look.
Lord, save us from the unimaginable effects of Bostock. Forgive us. We have no idea what this decision will mean to our nation as it releases unimaginable evil. Turn this decision back. We have no other saving grace but You.

This saddens me as a Christian that our rights have come to this. May God forgive our ignorance and help us to understand what we can do on our part to stop this unimaginable evil that is being leashed on our nation. May God give us grace and mercy.
Thanks for the article. But your conclusion is false. Of course we know the effects these evil rulings are going to bring upon such a nation: UTTER DESTRUCTION BY FIRE FROM THE HAND OF GOD ALLMIGHTY. Paroxysmical destruction in ONE HOUR (ref. Revelation).
God is very patient towards us sinners, and He had patience toward Sodome too. But then came the day when enough was enough, they crossed the red line and fire from Heaven put a brutal end to their exercise in ungodliness and extreme rebellion.
For America the red line has been crossed and this fateful day is now VERY, VERY close. There’s no use asking God to put a stop to His hand of Judgment. It’s already moving and no prayer will stop it.
My understanding is that some will escape this awful ordeal through the Rapture (Rev.3:10-Luke 21:36). Those deemed unworthy by the Lord (many) will miss it and be judged with the world.
What sould we do ? Help people getting ready for what’s coming and not miss the Rapture.
No wonder there is confusion, hatred, etc in America because we keep redefining what we stand for. Our nation was all based on God’s Word. The day we threw God out of our schools it has been chaos in the schools and our nation. Lawlessness prevails and we have allowed other people from other nations to dictate what we should be. We do not go to other nations to conform them to our way of life but we have to acclimate to their way in their country. People escape their country because of lack of freedoms but expect us to bend to their way. Sharia law prevails in Michigan. I am an American I won’t stand for this . Give us back our rights.
I can’t imagine a new law passed by the Supreme Court which doesn’t protect free thought and has limits. I’m sure the court would NOT want to put this up as an amendment . We need to elect politicians who do not line up against the innocent or our basic freedoms which unite us. I am glad President Trump stood against this. I do favor job protections, but the states have already been working on these.

H.B. 426 must be amended to remove “sexual orientation” and “gender” from line 26 on page 2. If those words are not deleted, H.B. 426 should be defeated.

It is heartbreaking to realize that may of our Supreme Court Justices are floundering in the quagmire of political correctness. Have these Justices misrepresented themselves all of these years or have they been manipulated to violate their core beliefs? It’s very hard to believe that they can actually see anything looking through such an obscure lens that blurs common sense.
You cannot legislate how a person perceives themself!
I want you to know that I am grieved at the shocking decision the Supreme Court made on the Bostock case. Changing the meaning of the word “sex” from its original intended meaning is a liberty that is not the Court’s to take.
It is unimaginable what this decision will unleash on our nation – on our children, to our safety, and for our religious freedom. It is heartbreaking.
I want you to know, however, that I will continue to pray for you as you serve our nation on the Supreme Court.
What this decision means from Justice Gorsuch is that now the doors have swung wide open to introduce pedophilia into our society as “normal” thereby the demand will be to make it legal and categorize it too as a “protected class”. Who can even imagine what this vial immoral act with children will look like if it became legal? I can almost envision a rising amount of vigilante justice killings happening because of hurt, horrified, and seethely angry parents if their children are assaulted by a pedophile (even more than what is already happening now). This is where this misguided decision is leading to in America and the leftist progressives are rejoicing over it.
I pray for President Trump to receive the wise counsel of the Holy Spirit to hear who he is to be recommending to sit on the Supreme Court. The LGBTQ+ community is about to become a real force to be reckoned with for the body of Christ. May we spiritually brace ourselves for “this” warfare in Jesus name. Amen.
One of my granddaughters is a cross country runner. She is pretty good at it. If a “male” came in representing himself as a she, my granddaughter would not have a chance. She would be demoralized and would not have a chance at proving herself. The “he” passing as a “she” could compete on both places. That is very unfair and cruel for any young lady. Please reconsider!
Please don’t mix in the long struggle for the civil rights of Blacks with the false narrative that the LBGTQ?? groups are continually perpetuating. As a member of the Body of Christ, my prayer is that we walk in unity with one another as we approach God’s throne of grace, obtain His mercy and find His grace in time of need. One can chase 1,000 and 2 can put 10,000 or more to flight. Certainly, together we can get the job done on this earth and then we can look forward to being with one another in eternity forever.

And in Romans 1:20-27, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened…Then (after their foolish hearts were darkened, a couple of verses later He says:) “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. This is an outrageous, non-scientific and anti-intellectual overreach! The majority decision is a dangerous foray in a direction that is guaranteed to produce confusion and even further division among a culture that has is in the process of losing direction for basic decisions. My grandson was complimenting a guy (who thinks he is a girl) for doing a game when he said, “Way to go, Dude” but the teacher sent him to the office because he used “dude” and called his mom, my daughter to come to the principal’s office as well…We are going to suffer !!

Our founding fathers set up our government as it is described in Your word (Isaiah 33:22). The Supreme Court are judges, not lawgivers. They have overstepped their bounds. They do not make laws. They are only to give an opinion based upon the Constitution (not their personal opinions). I pray that someone would stand up and hold them accountable. Their jobs are NOT lifetime positions. The judges who continually choose to go against You God, need to be removed from our Supreme Court. We as citizens do not have the capability of doing so, but You do. We need You to act now. They are destroying our country. WE NEED YOU NOW!!! Act on our behalf for the things that we cannot do. We are grateful that You are in control. Your word in Isaiah 33:22 says that “You will save us.” So Lord, save us!
I say, what part of the word “No”, isn’t understood? Does not many fear God? God’s written word says “no” and I agree with Him, for I fear Him.
One day all of us will be standing before Him and explain how we don’t care about His creation. See how far it gets ya!

In the name of Jesus, let the legal team of President Trump file a new petition to address the objections of Chief Justice John Roberts. I thank you LORD, that this is NOT a final decision on this matter. Heavenly Father, move on the hearts of the elected officials in Congress to make a law which honors Your Will and Your Word. Guide President Trump and his legal team to re-write the Executive Order to correct the shortcomings of the first Executive Order. Amen.
I am devastated to hear this. I can’t imagine my grandchildren growing up and hearing that all of this is a normal lifestyle and an okay lifestyle. I am sick and tired of hearing people say they are offended by the things that God’s people stand for. Nobody cares about the offenses of God’s people. May God tear down the injustices in this country and destroy the work of the enemy. May God do whatever it takes to get this country turned back to him and I fear what that might be.
I am so disappointed in our highest court. Especially Gorsuch and Roberts to go along with such a preposterous ruling. MY prayers are that they would take another look at what they decided and make an unprecedented reversal. This goes against everything we believe Biblically. What is now to stop a homosexucal from being hired to teach our children in Christian schools or to be a minister of the Gospel in our churches? Please speak out, Christians, and let your congressmen and the courts hear your voice. I pray that another similar suit would come along that could potentially change this outrageous decision. Our country has lost its moral compass and the supreme court hasn’t found it. We are living in a veritable Sodom and Gomorrah.
We have the Bible to use as our guide in life — and for a nation founded on Christian principles and practices — we are in process of guaranteeing this country’s demise. I fear the anger of God as we see it in the Bible — Sodom and Gomorrah — were given to us in the Bible so we know how God deals with our bad behavior — and if people don’t realize that the pandemic we are going through is a warning to us — and continue to exhibit and make acceptable the kinds of behavior the Holy Bible has examples of consequences for us to learn from — then we either have a fierce battle to fight and win which involves the twisted beliefs of factions of the society living in this country. A very difficult battle and if we don’t win it — then God’s Anger can bring any number of pestilence and terrible consequences that are quite frightening in their severity. People have become so accepting of “anything goes” — and NO RESPECT for others and their property — to the point that our lives are being turned upside down — and this is only the beginning. NOTE: (Sodom and Gomorrah are possibly located under or adjacent to the shallow waters south of Al-Lisān, a former peninsula in the central part of the Dead Sea in Israel that now fully separates the sea’s northern and southern basins)
Prayer is important but how can we expect God to save us all if we aren’t all praying and realizing the terrible behaviors we are being expected to consider normal.
We are living in the last of the last days. When you get into Matthew 24 ….and walk through the end times prophesies….you will notice all these things that are happening now are all recorded in Gods word. Our responsibility as christian parents I and grandparents who knows the Bible … is to teach them what Gods word has to say on all these things that are now operating full in the world.
The Bible says… gross darkness would come upon this world.
The church has become complacent. But I know that there is coming a MIGHTY MIGHTY move of God in this nation. God still has the last word. Prayer and fasting and coming together in unity and pulling down demonic forces can stop many things of evil.
2 Chronicles 7:14 says it all. Many Christians have lost sight of who God is. And who He is in us. We need revival in our souls before we can ever see it in a nation.
As bad as all the CoVid nonsense and muck has been, there is this to consider–that idols came down. Sports came down. Entertainment came down. Shopping came down. Distractions came down. Concerts and plays came down. Art openings came down.
Families spent more time together. People helped each other more. People then were grateful when some degree of freedom and liberty returned. It was a giant reset for most, I believe. Things taken for granted were no longer taken for granted.
Some never got the lesson, but many, many did. I can see it in NextDoor, where people offer to help anyone in need. I see it in my neighborhood, where we sat on our front grass and talked and laughed with each other. Good stuff to see. God uses everything for good, for those who love Him. Amen.
I work in an environment where using your pronoun is being pushed. I am appalled at this and at the gender lines being blurred.
In order to keep from being overcome with anger and frustration, I have been challenged that these people who are seeking this new gender are looking for identity. They have been duped into believing they will find it in a particular gender. My prayer is that they will find their value as a child of God…settling their identity struggle and setting them free!

From the beginning, when they said that Neil Gorsuch was an Episcopalian, I knew we were in trouble. They are liberal in their beliefs. And he has proven this to be true.
In schools, grade schools it is getting to be that kids want to change their sex because it is the “in” thing to do, and adults egg them on and condition them without parents consent!
It may not be a coincidence that this decision was made by SCOTUS at the same time that we are dealing with COVID-19 and the BLM riots. The fact that 2 of the Justices literally did a ‘Judas” seemed to even surprise the President. My Pastor did a thorough walk through scripture in April of the fallout that would happen with the President’s Plan to divide Jerusalem. Our prayer should be that President Trump reverse this course before it becomes reality and brings even more judgement on our land.
I’m not familiar with the President’s plan to divide Jerusalem and not sure what this has to do with the current Supreme Court decision other than yes the President should reverse it if is within his ability to do so! I do know that he was the first president to keep his word to move the U. S. Embassy to Jerusalem if that is what you are talking about. I listened to the President’s great rally in Oklahoma tonight and was both saddened at his remarks about the two wonderful judges to the supreme court including Gorsuch obviously, (not sure why he did that), but was glad the audience went almost totally silent when he said that. It sickens my heart and my thinking is beyond me too understand how people could have gotten this far off the track that God has laid down for us. Where as Christians need to be in prayer even deeper than before to overturn this and turn it back but I fear we are on this path for good. I’m sad that my grandkids are growing up in a world that is nothing like the world I grew up in. May God help us.

Once upon a time, there was a world power even more powerful than the United States. The depravity of this power over the earth was even more than what is happening, now, in the Western World. Yet, in this time the Christian church not only formed but grew strong. Reading and rereading the first Chapter of Romans gives a glimpse of what the first Christians lived. There is one little phrase in that first Chapter that is often missed among the catalog of human sin: “they invent ways of doing evil” (vs. 30). Though we may not have seen before the new iterations of evil that are being ‘invented’ in our day, this is nothing new. The early Christians were ‘souled out’ to Christ: they stayed the course, without discouragement, and, in time, after three hundred years elapsed, the head of that corrupt power turned to Christ and the whole world was changed. We, as Christians must be as ‘souled out’ to Jesus as our ancestors of faith, both in the early church and in the founding of our nation by the 50 survivors of the Pilgrims, whose Covenant with God shaped our nation. We are in it for ‘the long game’. God will use faithful churches and strong believers in his plan of salvation for the world. We need to stay the course, depending upon Christ, his Holy Spirit and Father God either to ‘the end’ or to ‘our ends’.

The potential evil for this ruling is real. It could be devastating to Christians and to our liberties. As I was reading and praying over David Kubal’s article, I turned to Esther 8:3-17 to look at another situation where the king had made an awful decree That allowed Jewish enemies to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews in the kingdom—young and old, women and little children—and to plunder their goods. After an intense period of fasting and prayer, Esther approached the king. When Esther revealed she and her family were Jews and the king’s advisor had lied about the situation, the king regretfully said he could not rescind the decree. However, he sent out another decree granting the Jews the right to assemble and protect themselves—to destroy, kill and annihilate any armed force that might attack them and to plunder the properties of their enemies. On the appointed day, the Jews were successful in striking down their enemies, although they did not lay a hand on the plunder. Their sorrow was turned into joy and the day is still celebrated today. I pray that out of this bad Supreme Court ruling, God will bring about victories for Christians and none of our Christian liberties will be destroyed.
This is a grievous decision that undermines the Bill of Rights, particularly with regard to the freedom to practice one’s religion for faith-based institutions like Christian schools and Christian organizations. The implications of what this could mean in terms of Christian employers are frightening, especially with the prospect of having legal pressure to hire those who practice homosexuality or those who do not accept their God-given gender.This decision portends litigation, situations that compromise our Biblical values, media and public backlash — in short persecution. This is a time for fervent prayer for our nation, spiritual warfare, and a need to make a stand regardless of the cost! God is faithful to supply the needed grace.

If the Legislature agrees with the opinion, then it is their job to write the law. As it stands, there is no Roe v Wade law, only an opinion. There is no Obergefell law redefining marriage. And there is no law equalizing sexual abominations as a protected class. There is only their opinion.

Aside from the complete ignorance and subversion of founding precepts and of the simple reading of words, there is also the complete irresponsibility of the legislature to abide by their designated authority to impeach Supreme Court Justices for acting extra-Constitutionally.
When SCOTUS wrote themselves Judicial Supremacy, the court itself should have been impeached. They are not supreme over the Executive branch, nor over the Legislative branch, they are to be the weakest. And constitutionally, they are not appointed for life, only for good behavior (constitutionally).
A simple reading of Article III designates NO jurisdiction for courts to hear immigration courts, much less “rule” that Trump had no authority to end DACA. In fact, it was 0bama who acted illegally in establishing DACA, not Trump for ending it. And the Legislature let this happen.
Did the church protest? No. Did the church support Kim Davis, who went to jail? No. Did the church protest Roe? Not that I remember. Not actively.
This country, in addition to praying and binding the strong man in each of the 7 mountains, needs to unite and learn the biblical foundation of our governing documents. For instance, our first civil document, The Mayflower Compact, begins with, “IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN!” A sentence or two later, it states, America is being founded “for the furtherance of the Christian religion.” It is further declared in the Declaration of Independence through the declaration of the Law of Nature (Natural Law and Nature’s God (Revealed Law). This early covenant with God is the reason God will restore us now, but we cannot continue to stay outside of government/politics and the other mountains. Our voices must be heard and united both politically and spiritually. Even now, the church is divided, some believing BLM has a good intent, even though it has been masterminded by none other than Soros. The church cannot yet tell the difference between Social Justice Doctrine (of man), which is a form of marxism, and All Men Are Created Equal. Let that sink in, please.
A church that refuses to march into the political arena is the church that lets their country go to hell. We need to MOVE this country back to original intent and purpose on all fronts. Education begins with the church and the family and the individual. Faith with works MOVES mountains. Amen.

It’s absolutely dreadful! To think that our Supreme Court would agree that there’s no such thing as men and women; all are the same! Then why can’t men bear children? Why do men have bigger muscle mass and bigger hearts than women? Why do men and women have different hormones? I hope the Body of Believers in Jesus Christ is now awake!!! It has been time already to armor up and stand united in unity of purpose and SPEAK forth the WORDS of Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness!!! The Bible says in Revelations 12:11, “and they [believers knowing who they are in Christ Jesus] OVERCAME him [the devil and his evil] because of the Blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death”. Also, repay evil with good [only the true and living God is good].
These are the “how-to” defeat the evil forces: Are we forgetting that we don’t do battle with the flesh and blood people, but with spiritual warfare as described in Ephesians 6. If we try to battle in our own strength, or what we think, we obviously have failed, especially the church, which is supposed to have educated the people attending what the Bible teaches to make disciples that can accomplish the same acts as Jesus did when He walked amidst the evil in that time in history. [We call those signs, wonders, miracles.]
But things have changed, yes, but not in the demonic realm where the evil has been and now is becoming more manifested to the entire world and no longer hidden. Why? Because the evil has been ALLOWED to take over through fear, lies, deception, accusations, witchcraft, theft, etc.
The need for the Body of Believers is to not only wake up, but make decisions to not allow this to continue!!! Yes, we need to search the scriptures for what God says to us about using His words and promises to be SPOKEN out as arrows that pierce the enemy. Did you know that spiritual beings do not die? So, we are unable to kill them, but we can DISARM them and cause them to abandon their assignments, and be REMOVED from the places they are inhabiting. Have you read that born-again spirit-filled believers have the AUTHORITY over ALL the power of the enemy because the keys of death and hell have been removed from the devil, therefore he is a defeated foe, who needs daily to be reminded of it? These are ACTIONS that the Christians are to be using now, since the ancestors failed to keep the devil and his evil at bay.
People of God, YOU are the salt, light, and HOPE for the world, because Jesus Christ dwells in you. Soon, the truth of the Living God will be seen by the world through your life and our unified participation in this spiritual battle, because we are on the WINNING side to bring VICTORY not only for our Republic to be re-birthed into a better nation, but also for the entire world. It has never belonged to the devil. It has always been the property of God, who gave mankind an assignment to take care of it.

Perhaps this is what we deserve and is definitely the result of “Christian” inaction over decades. I remember being told by a pastor before Roe vrs. Wade that Christian’s should not be involved in politics and abortion was political, that God would punish the baby killers,leave that to Him. All we had to do was love Him and our fellow man. I almost became an agnostic. I try to follow the two great commandments to love God and my fellow man, but I think this world and especially Christians have allowed the second commandment to supersede the first and we are worshiping the creation more than the creator. In our churches we pay more attention to the goats that have jumped the fence than the sheep who occupy the seats, follow the doctrine, pay the tithes, support the ministry, and do the work. Perhaps it is a crisis of faith I am suffering, but I no longer believe that we are all God’s children and He loves all of us, that He is just disappointed in our behavior. If that is the case, then who are the children of the devil that are talked about in the scriptures? Why do we even talk about a hell? When was the last time people were accused of sin instead of excusing wrong doing as making a bad choice,wrong decision, or mistake? What does it profit a man if he gains approval of the world but loses his soul? How sad it is that we have become a bunch of sheep who ignore the voice of the shepherd and answer the call of the goat herder. This is our time that Thomas Paine said “would try men’s souls”. All these attacks are being used as a sifting process to determine whose on the Lord’s side. My greatest fear is not hearing His voice.

You are correct that we are not all children of God. We are all His creations, but those who are called to Christ are children of God and those who follow the ways of this world (and its ruler) are children/sons of disobedience (Col. 3:6). God does indeed love us all, but He hates sin and will not tolerate it. Sin pollutes our spirits, hardens our hearts, and poisons our land. It numbs us to the righteous ways of the Lord and the voice of His Spirit.
Our years/decades of Christian silence and inactivity have led to this. These wicked events are evidence of mighty things to come. The Lord is working in mighty ways to expose corruption, iniquity, and reveal to His people the truly abominable, unrighteous things at work. He is showing us where we need to stand, pray, and wage spiritual warfare. He is showing us the strongholds that we must cast down and the strong men that we must bind. Satan is a defeated foe and is stirring up as much evil as he can because he knows his days are numbered and that the army of God is rising up to meet and fight against his devices. And righteousness will prevail in Jesus’ name!

I believe that we need men and women who are faithful to God and His commandments to be considered for this high office of the Supreme Court. They are what we truly need to navigate through these times in which we are now living. God’s laws must always be taken into consideration in these times and unfortunately more times than not, they aren’t. There is very great evil in this world causing even the most faithful to fail … or fall. Prayer is the only solution and God is the only answer.
We certainly do not know Nancy, but it underscores the critical role of intercession for these leaders who are making decisions for our nation. They are pressed from every side. I am shocked and horrified. Exemption because of religious conviction now seems to be “out the window”. I have thought much of the track of “inclusion, diversity, and tolerance” and have concluded, sadly, that it is a “one way street”: you must tolerate, accept and even embrace ME, but I will not embrace, accept, or even tolerate you. How can six unelected individuals have the audacity to decide what the other 330 million people must do, say, or think? What will happen to Christian business owners, Christian schools, Christian churches, Christian teachers, lawyers, medical personnel, families, couples, students and children? What about childcare workers, babysitters, nannies, athletes, performers and entertainers, hospitals and clinics, counselors and therapists? Our whole society and culture will be upended and thrown into conflict and chaos. Even many who do not profess to be Christian do not endorse these lifestyles and behaviors. God help us.

Justice Gorsuch has written in several legal opinions that the unelected court should not make law from the bench and usurp the power of Congress. He just ignored his own advice by redefining sex in the Civil Rights Law of 1964 to include LGBTQ people that the members never imagined at the time. This will have far reaching adverse consequences for our nation. Shame on Gorsuch.

I am terrified of the consequences for our kids and grandkids and our nation in general. This has been a devastating betrayal. How does this happen?!? These judges whom we thought were protectors of the Constitution flip when they sit in their Supreme Court seats. Clarence Thomas is the only judge who has stayed faithful. Now I’m thinking we really don’t know whom to support. Of all the things that have been going down these last few months, this has hit me the hardest.
This is a huge overreach by our Supreme Court. This kind of thing should have been done in Congress — not in the courts. I’m getting tired of the Supreme Court being used to create laws. It’s role is to interpret — not create. This is going to have long-standing implications for people of faith.
I am grieving. I have been praying for the Supreme Court AND their decisions, and am grieving the deep and disturbing implications of this ruling. Every nation/culture that has legitimized homosexuality has fallen—Woe to US for choosing to ignore our Creator, His intent, and the lessons of Sodom and Gomorrah!

This ruling is a total overreach and intrusion into standard practices and policies of businesses and corportions to hire those people most qualified for the position available.
It can be used against any employer who hires a nicely dressed, suited man who shows up one his first day of work dressed as a woman.
According to this ruling, the employee has extraordinary protection in the job which isn’t given to all employees. The ruling is discriminating in itself. The problem is when the SCOTUS interprets the Civil Rights Amendment wording “sex” as sexual preference which was never the intension when written. This decision must be reversed and in Jesus’ name, we ask it. Amen.

If my memory serves me correctly, it was Senator Ted Cruz that originally warned us about not trusting Gorsuch.
Therefore, we were warned. No one took him seriously.

This is not the America I grew up in. I was born in 1951 and we have had turbulent times in the ensuing years; however, homosexuality, same-sex marriages, not being able to identify which sex you were born (how ludicrous) to name just a few issues since then only point to what happens when a nation takes God out of the decision process on laws and what is right and wrong. I don’t pass judgement on people who identify and/or live the homosexual lifestyle, however I am a Bible believing Christian and while God loves the sinner, He does not like or accept the sin. This is true of any sin we commit. I Love Intercessors of America because it is a platform and opportunity to pray as a community for our nation and our leaders. I thank God that I do not put my trust in man – I trust God Almighty.

I did a survey on Neil Gorsuch. I do not know him and what he stands for. I was hoping that he would be a good judge. The transgenders can use the public women’s bathroom. I was wondering when the other men would want to use the women’s bathroom too. You better have a buddy system women. Be on guard with your children when they aren’t at school. This nation, the Supreme Court,followed by the people, continues to cross bridges God never intended to cross which reflects how far we have left the basic principles of Faith-God’s Word-and of our founding fathers. Not only will this foster battles between the sexes, this will take us deeper into the path of the wrath of Almighty God. Some day this nation will commit the last act to bring judgment upon us. God will one day say “this is enough”. I realize that no one knows exactly when that will be. However, Sodom and Gomorrah crossed it and so did many other individuals and groups recorded in the Bible. May God send us a mighty awakening that will be triggered by the Church obeying 2 Chronicles 7:14, especially “turn from their (our) wicked ways…” then He will answer our prayers.

The founding priciples of our government have been left to an increasingly prideful and rebelious people. The elevation of the Supreme Court, and NOT the Constitution, to the status of “The Supreme Law of the Land” enabled flawed humans to enact laws contrary to God’s Will and America’s purpose.
Lord HELP us, this is war on decency. The repercussions of this ruling are voluminous & horrific. I stand with Samuel Alito !!!! What were they thinking?? Why appease evil?? Haven’t we had enough in the U.S.
This is a sad day for America and the world. This decision is so unholy and evil. I pray the Lord will have mercy and use His almighty power and sovereignty to reverse this decision. Talk about a falling away!!!
My thoughts are going to sound crazy. I believe the conservative judges that greatly disappointed us with their decision were intimidated in some way. They have something to hide. There is no way this ruling should have happened for a very small segment of our culture. I’m deeply saddened and discouraged.

The intercessors across our country are praying fervently and seeking God’s face, but until this nation stops these wicked ways, this land will not be healed. I am so disappointed in Gorsuch and the Supreme Court. They have overstepped their boundaries again, and there will be serious repercussions for sure.

The saying goes that everyone has a price, i.e. can be bought off (blackmail, threats, sordid gain, whatever). While we have a President who cannot be bought, it seems that there are far too many in power who lack integrity and take the low road. We can pray and reach the Highest Supreme Court above all courts. Then, what would the Lord have us do? Who can we reach out to? Is there any direct physical action we can take? Calls? Letters? Riots? (just kidding)
The word “supreme” along with life long tenure, must create some kind of God complex with members of the supreme court. They act at times as though they’ve been given supreme wisdom that allows them to redefine centuries of precedence and tradition and commonsense understanding of our constitution.
The concern with their newest redefining of the constitution and invention of law, isn’t about discrimination of a human being’s sexual orientation or gender identity. It’s about the beliefs of those who hold a Biblical view of marriage and gender. It opens the door to force ministries and businesses with a Biblical view to align with those whose lifestyle compromises and contradicts their beliefs.
The evils of discrimination can and should be dealt with; but doing so by way of the supreme court is like using a bulldozer to weed a flower garden.
This isn’t the first time the supreme court has defied the Supreme Court of Heaven.
A handful of unelected lawyers at the whim of a few demonized folk have banished prayer and the Bible from schools, legalized abortion, same sex marriage…to name a few. All of which, were against the will, of the vast majority of the people.
The temptation to, open your eyes to the knowledge of good and evil, spread from the Garden of
Eden all the way to the supreme court.
From that day to this, we all suffer from their sin.
The deception that opened the door was by defining Christianity as “religion.” That is an insult to our Creator, our God, our Father. He considers us His family, His children, Christ’s bride.
Defining Christianity as religion provided the lever for demonized atheists like Madalyn Murray to deceive and succeed in pitting religion against “religion” (atheism) and change the trajectory of America, forever.
Make no mistake, Christianity is not religion. It is right. It is acknowledging and obeying the Supreme Ruler and Owner of this country, universe. Period. It is relationship with our Creator as acknowledged in our Declaration of Independence.
Religion doesn’t work. Never has. It’s weak. All of the Old Testament, testifies to that.
Not believing in Him, or being offended by those who do, is like outlawing breathing because a few deluded souls don’t believe in air and are offended by it.

I won’t quit grieving over this decision and if the church is ever not to be silent it is NOW!!! It may be too late, but I do believe at this time our Lord wants us to pray in the Golden Harvest before He raptures His Bride. This may be the time that lost souls actually listen and accept Jesus as their Personal Savior.

I believe that our Supreme Court has fallen. They have crossed the line from interpretation to manipulation; from interpretation to legislation. This is outrageous.
The Supreme Court of the United States of America has effectively intervened and acted on existing legislation that many of us have opposed (H.R. 5, An Act To prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation, and for other purposes) which is currently before the United States Senate. The Supreme Court has effectively nullified the Senate and the President of the United States in the legislative process. This is outrageous.
The Bostock ruling oversteps and changes the meaning of the word “sex” as it was used in the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Having been a child in 1964, I can assure you that sex meant male or female and that the 1964 Civil Rights Act intended to protect women as created female by almighty God.
The impact of this ruling will be far-reaching and we may expect that activists, who are waiting in the wings, will begin lawsuits.
I believe that God grieves for the natural family according to His creation. I believe that God grieves and for the sin of a nation that allows little children to be taught unnatural sexuality, an array of genders, and indeed obscenity in public schools under the umbrella of comprehensive sexuality education.
I fear for our country, as the Judeo-Christian morality of our founders has been legislated away by rogue, activist judges in a failed judicial system that has exchanged the truth of God for a lie. The Court has fallen.
I am grateful for the strong wording of the dissenting opinion, but the bricks of injustice are laid. Equality is inequality of the most egregious kind. Inequality has been measured against the family, people of all religions, creation, biology, the First Amendment and most importantly, Biblical truth.

Gorsuch attends a church that embraces doctrines our Father has judged as sins. This is in the hands of our Father now, but is one of the greatest attacks against our religion and freedoms we’ve ever faced. Pray constantly and also let your voice be heard.
Our hope is in Christ alone. We cannot trust man in justice, legislation and definitions. All church leaders must bring their congregations together praying and asking Our Lord to derail these evils of which we know not ahead of time.
But we know it is the last days.
Fortunately King of kings and Lord of lords Jesus Christ IS far above ALL earthly powers AND will rule the nations with a rod of IRON.
