I Prayed have prayed
Father, do not let us live in fear. Help us to make no provision for the enemy to attack and help us to speak truth.

In a national survey of 2,000 Americans at least 18 years old, conducted July 1-6, 2020, Cato asked respondents to agree or disagree with the following statement: “The political climate these days prevents me from saying things I believe because others might find them offensive.”

Strong liberals are “the only political group who feels they can express themselves” without fear of repercussions, a new Cato Institute survey finds.

Sixty-two percent (62%) of Americans agreed, up from 58% in 2017, leading Cato to conclude that “self‐censorship is on the rise in the United States.”

Republicans were the most likely to be afraid to share their views (77%), followed by 59% of Independents. Slightly more than half (52%) of Democrats said they were afraid to voice their opinions. . . .

About a third (32%) of Americans fear that their careers would be harmed if their political views were known, with about one in three of liberals (31%), moderates (30%) and conservatives (34%) alike sharing that concern.

Fears of professional retribution may well be justified, as the survey found that 31% of Americans said they would support firing a business executive who donates to Pres. Donald Trump’s reelection campaign and 22% would back firing one who personally donates to Joe Biden’s campaign. Support for firing Trump supporters rises to 50% among strong liberals, while 36% of strong conservatives support firing Biden supporters.

The survey results suggest that not just “radical or fringe perspectives” are being socially marginalized – but, that even those holding mainstream views are being intimidated into silence, Cato concludes.

Luke 12:5 Jesus said “I’ll forewarn you who to fear – fear him who has power to cast body and soul into hell”

The American citizens that want freedom don’t have a choice but to stand up for
the values we hold as precious to our country. If we don’t we are leaving our children live in a hopeless world. It is our duty to speak up and uphold the values God offered us as
Christians. To not speak up is also an offense to our God. In doing so, I believe
justice and peace will prevail.

2 Timothy 1:7
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

I’ve always been known as a person that speaks their mind, and the only relevant fear I have is this. Matthew 7:21-23
I Never Knew You
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

So for me this is what I’ve worked in Ministry for over 33 years, and make sure all that I have shared the Gospel with understand this scripture.

This article gives statistics proving that there is a silent majority, and this is why I don’t believe the polls. The silent majority may just be growing in numbers and do not want to be polled for fear of being harrassed. I believe that the tactics they are using to turn the election away from Pres. Trump will backfire. The enemy is a liar and a looser, and losers can get very upset when they don’t win. We’ve be witnessing this for these last 4 years. Some may be so tired of hearing nothing but negative day after day that they might sit this one out. I pray that there will be more people changing their support to Republican because of a renewed enthusiasm. Lord, hear the cries of Your people and have mercy on us. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Come before the Lord with Thanksgiving. Sing, shout, clap your hands. Rejoice that the WORD is sharper than any two edged sword and NEVER returns void.
In Trust I will take my stand and acknowledge my grandchildren won’t be sold for a pair of sandals or a drink of wine.
Raise the Standard. Follow the One who gives you fingers to fight and hands to war…in Jesus Precious Name.

Our political views may not be accepted but that is minor. The important thing is that we share the Word of God boldly. If we hold a Biblical world view, we can confront our political opponents. For example, the deviously named Black Lives Matter does not care about black lives; they care about hijacking the news media and the minds of people to destroy our Constitutional government. You can prove this by pointing out their silence at all the black-on-black murders in Chicago and the 20 million black children aborted. God cares about these lost lives, so we serve Him in reminding BLM that their blood cries out to Him. Our words may be shouted down and our lives may be beaten down but we stand up for God and can rejoice in our suffering for His sake.

In Jesus Name, Heavenly Father grant Your people the wisdom to know when to speak and when to be silent.
Through technology there is untold amounts of opinions being expressed. The information highway has not been as great at any time in history as it is now, and yet, we are plagued with “fear of expression”. Seems, Lord, more than ever people are expressing their views because they are faceless on the internet, Facebook, etc.
It is the spirit of the expression. Lord, plant the desire in the hearts of all people to care what others think and why they believe as they do before sharing personal beliefs. Instill patience, kindness, and
understanding into rhetoric. Dispel the anger and impatience accompanying shared beliefs, or encounters with another person who believes something different that self. Lord, only Your mercy and grace can calm the anger, hatred, and negatives that are causing people to fear sharing their thoughts for fear of recrimination.
Lord, with You all things are possible. Thank You for Your constant and ongoing mercy and grace. Amen.

Yes, many of us are silent, but, God has given us the privilege of living in a country where we can go to the polls and vote for whomever God has laid on our hearts. There will also be so much corruption concerning the vote that we will have to turn out as never before. I really believe that we are going to see a miracle of God in this election.

Jesus, teach us Your ways in political discourse. I remember defaming president Obama and an uncle replied in the most courteous way. I honor that way…again, Lord teach us Your ways.

Satan is the only one who TORMENTS with fear. For a few years the enemy has tried to silence my voice with fear. Then I realized fear is is a figment in my mind and a delusion. I got tired of being silenced and took a leap of faith and told the the devil your a liar and the father of all lies I bind this fear in Jesus name and now I use my voice. If God be for you who can be against you. What can man do? Your voice is the only truth people will hear use your voice and allow the Holy Spirit to speak through you to set the captives free from the insanity of the lies of the enemy. Jesus was bold and so were the apostles they were not afraid to go to the streets. The Lord always had their back. I’ve been bold to share the gospel with people and decided it’s up to them to receive Gods truth but I do know the word I speak as truth is a seed planted that only God can water by the power of His Holy Spirit.

I agree Jeneen Lujan. I have that same impression to allow the Holy Spirit to use my voice to share His Word. More boldness and less fear, just like the first apostles.

Even when we begin to state our view a liberal will interrupt or become angry. They walk away after they spew their hateful words. Comments by neighbors loud enough for us to hear because of our Trump flag. We fly it high under our nations flag. Our grandson doesn’t voice his opinions amongst his friends because of the back lash. Praying we all become stronger in our voices being heard and not being silent because of fear.

Fear is a powerful emotion and at times its helpful alerting one to danger. CATO statistics are revealing. It’s time to turn the tide of emotions in our Nation by taking back our power as believers in our Triune God.
I will start now!

During this last three months of time I have asked the Lord, and ask again, Lord, What can I do? As a retiree, show me what, and show me how I can make a difference. Show each one of us how not to be silent any longer.

I, for one, will contact my County Representative.

Yet we must continue to do so. If we are silent now, it will only become more costly to speak later…and more difficult to dig our country out of the pit. Only by divine intervention will we be saved from the marxism that is being absorbed and acted on by even small town city councils. Lord God, have mercy upon us helpless sinners!

It is a very sad time in our country when we fear to comment on our political beliefs. And yes we are there. 😷
