I Prayed

While we cannot dismiss what is going on politically, I am stepping in to pray for the Church today. Because of this political climate – the angst, the despair, the confusion, the fighting and name-calling in this world and even amongst Christians, the fear of what is to come with this nation – the Church is ripe for an unprecedented awakening!
I think back to the beginning of this whole pandemic before things ever escalated politically. Many of us saw this as an opportunity for the Church to redefine itself and to slough off anything that didn’t belong in order to truly realign with HIM and His purposes.
Now we sit here awaiting the next few days to play out, wondering what is going to happen. Many are consumed by fear and despair while others are holding fast to the God of miracles – believing He will do what only He can do – a miracle of landslide proportions, a true parting of the sea. We are sitting squarely in the midst of “impossible” and “inevitable” and yet…we serve the God who conquered death! Death could not hold Him down; He defeated the grave!
I don’t dream very often, but I do wake up almost every morning with some worship song running through my head. The songs are almost always different, but this week I have woken up each morning with the same song running through my mind.
The weapon may be formed

I don’t know about you, but this has brought me great encouragement and peace each morning. I don’t know how these next days will play out – none of us truly do. Many of us anticipated great victory on January 6, only to find their hopes all dashed. But our God is still on the throne and He is in the miracle making business!
The Emmaus Road
I imagine many of our responses were like those disciples walking on the Emmaus Road with Jesus on the day of His resurrection.
Two of the disciples were walking and talking about the recent events when Jesus came alongside of them inviting Himself into the conversation. They were so blinded by their own pain and perception of what had happened that they didn’t recognize Him. Jesus asked about what current events they were speaking of:
“The things about Jesus, the Man from Nazareth,” they replied. “He was a mighty prophet of God who performed miracles and wonders. His words were powerful and he had great favor with God and the people. But three days ago the high priest and the rulers of the people sentenced him to death and had him crucified. We all hoped that he was the one who would redeem and rescue Israel. Early this morning, some of the women informed us of something amazing. They said they went to the tomb and found it empty. They claimed two angels appeared and told them that Jesus is now alive. Some of us went to see for ourselves and found the tomb exactly like the women said. But no one has seen him.”
Jesus said to them, “Why are you so thick-headed? Why do you find it so hard to believe every word the prophets have spoken? Wasn’t it necessary for Christ, the Messiah, to experience all these sufferings and then afterward to enter into his glory?”
Then he carefully unveiled to them the revelation of himself throughout the Scripture. He started from the beginning and explained the writings of Moses and all the prophets, showing how they wrote of him and revealed the truth about himself. (Lk 24:19-27 TPT)
Even with all of this, it wasn’t until later that their eyes were opened.
Joining them at the table for supper, he took bread and blessed it and broke it, then gave it to them. All at once their eyes were opened and they realized it was Jesus! Then suddenly, in a flash, Jesus vanished from before their eyes!
Stunned, they looked at each other and said, “Why didn’t we recognize it was him? Didn’t our hearts burn with the flames of holy passion while we walked beside him? He unveiled for us such profound revelation from the Scriptures!”
They left at once and hurried back to Jerusalem to tell the other disciples. When they found the Eleven and the other disciples all together, they overheard them saying, “It’s really true! The Lord has risen from the dead. He even appeared to Peter!” Then the two disciples told the others what had happened to them on the road to Emmaus and how Jesus had unveiled himself as he broke bread with them. (Lk 24:30-35 TPT)
There are many prophets still left standing; many still holding fast to the dreams and visions the Lord has revealed to them regarding this time. But many in the Church are floundering today – anxious and fearful of the days ahead. This day and time is not for the faint of heart. No matter how these last days play out, the days ahead are still going to be hard. I believe there will be a season of transition, of deep soul-searching, and a wrestling for all we believe to be true (I believe this no matter what side of the aisle you stand on).
“We all hoped that he was the one…” Many of us have wanted to turn this election onto one man/woman or entity – and yet that is not at all how it has played out. The entire life of Jesus is a reminder that God doesn’t play by “our rules”. He is not confined by our understanding or our set of beliefs or even our idea of how things should play out. As always, He is the God who exists outside of time and sees the big picture – He knows what is BEST for His Church, for His people, and for this nation. He works all things for the good of those who love Him. And I believe He has in mind for His Bride to be awakened. For a time, it may not be an increase of numbers and souls saved – but a time for a strengthening, equipping, solidifying, and emboldening that we might truly become a Church on fire!
“Why do you find it so hard to believe every word the prophets have spoken? Wasn’t it necessary for…?” God has equipped some to be prophets…in order to fully equip and perfect His people…so that the body of Christ may be built up (Eph 4:11-12). I am taking this out of context I know, as Jesus was referring to the prophecies that were written in reference to Him. But keeping in mind that He has allowed for modern day prophets, there is truth in much of the many prophetic voices out there. In the months preceding the election, many of those voices were multiplying, as well as going back to prophecies written and spoken about many years prior.
Some of those voices have since offered apologies for getting it wrong. And some of those same prophets have been maligned by fellow believers for giving up hope or not having enough faith. (See Gloria Ruble’s A Timely Word About … Words for an excellent response to this.)
[Side note, because I have to say it – we are BETTER than that in the body of Christ! We have been saved by the blood of Jesus, set free from the bondage of darkness and delivered into His glorious light! And yet NONE of us is perfect this side of heaven! And while we have been angry that we have lost the right “to speak” during this time in our nation, many being censored and “cancelled” – we CANNOT turn against our brothers and sisters in Christ! We lose our credibility when we act just like the world – hateful, vengeful and full of judgement. Grace, humility and love – love covers a multitude of sins. Let’s be those people!]
The gift of the prophet is to help build up the body. With the last voices that are holding on – let’s choose to be bolstered by their courage to stand steadfast – lone rangers going against the current of many. Let it strengthen our faith in the God of miracles, the God of angel armies, the God whose words never return void!
Pray for the prophets. Pray for your own ears to hear the voice of your shepherd! His voice is the ONE that matters above all the rest! And as HE leads you, only from there proceed.

He unveiled for us such profound revelation from the Scriptures!” I feel like we are living in a time where the scripture is coming alive more than ever before. Almost any story or passage that I read seems to speak life and hope to our current situation. This makes sense when you consider that the Word is living and active!
A Great Awakening
Do you recognize Him in the midst of this storm? He is walking in our midst. He is speaking into our ears. He is prompting us and leading us. He is reinvigorating His bride, even in the now! Boldness in our witness, passion in our walk and in our sharing, truth communicated unapologetically…He is equipping us for a Great Awakening!
Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (Is 43:19 AMPC)
Nate Johnston gave a powerful word for 2021. The whole of it is worth reading, but to close this I want to leave you with his closing word:

I believe the Lord is up to something we cannot even begin to imagine. For sure, this storm needs a direct word from our Savior. Do you perceive His presence? Do you recognize His hand? I speak peace to your weary hearts. Stand firm. HE is with us!
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. (Ps 46:1-3)
Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour. But resist him, be firm in your faith [against his attack—rooted, established, immovable], knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being experienced by your brothers and sisters throughout the world. We are standing on the edge, ready to behold His Glory!

Father in the name of Jesus i ask that you would visit your church, the cold, the lukewarm, and also the almost convinced who have heard the gospel but have not made a covenant with you yet. False perceptions of you and misunderstanding of grace and works. Father it’s a lofty prayer but touch each and every believer in America this week And unstick those who have become stuck, reach them in their prayer time or quicken your word, remind them of a verse they need or a special time of of fellowship with you or a time of divine intervention when you came through speak any way you can in the manner that will reach them deroest and best through your word, prayer, in dreams, visions, still small voice, true prophetic, your presence, and give the revelatiin each one needs to pick up their cross and truly follow you, and whisper thanks and praise to you gor all Jesus has already done. thank you. Satisfy each soul with exactly what they need from you to become move forward infull obedience, true faith and true hope and true love toward you and their fellow man. Thank you Jeremiah 31:25 For I will [fully] satisfy the weary soul, and I will replenish every languishing and sorrowful person.

Dear Lord, I continue to hope and pray for a miracle in the days left, but whatever happens I know Your will shall be done. I continue to pray that the deceptions shall be revealed and the wicked scattered by Your light. Prayer:
O Lord, Your church, the Body of Christ, is clearly divided this day and we pray that these “divisions” (demon, unclean spirit), spirit of division, be canceled (bound up) in the powerful name of Jesus. And we loosen the unity of the faith, in powerful name of Jesus. Amen. Lord we have a myriad of denominations, church leaders, and members who appear to be on opposite sides of the mighty spiritual war. Lord, the “church” on earth by its denominational-isms has divided the body of Christ, in the name of denominational-isms and various church leaders. We need to return to Acts 4:32a KJV, that the body of Christ be of one heart and of one soul. Lord, Your Word says in Ephesians 4:11-14 that You gave us gifts for the perfecting of the saints … till we all come in unity of the faith. Lord, let us not be confused (for God is not the author of confusion, 1 Corinthians 14:33), the church (“ekklesia”) is NOT the “bride” of Christ, but is the “Body of Christ”. Let us not be confused (as what our governments are attempting to reset what God created, male and female), God created He them male and female and not “its”. But know the “church” is a “he” and the “body of Christ” is also a “he”. And we, the Body of Christ, are called to be in the unity of the faith. And Lord, we pray Your wisdom, understanding and discernment unto the Body of Christ (5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6a But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering … James 1:5-6a KJV). Amen.
Yes and Amen Lawrence! The Lord’s word to me this morning… “they all have opinions, I have a Plan.” I am believing in His Plan and to know It is to know His Word. It is the same for all of us, regardless denomination. Blessings upon you and your home.

The Lord says:

Father, I pray we would honor You with undivided hearts and I ask that You draw us into worship as never before. Astound us with Your wisdom and wonder and for those who “work in the darkness,” I pray revelation and truth. May they tremble before You. Please Father, “fulfill Your purpose for us…do not abandon the works of Your Hands.” I love you Father, I love you Jesus, I love you Holy Spirit.

The 2 disciples were discouraged because they saw the outcome in human terms. Similar as Peter saying – Lord this will never happen to you. Again human, earthly terms. Jesus rebukes as such. God was and is NOT finished with His church. It is finished eternally, but has not yet been fully completed in our earthly realm before our eyes. Therefore we MUST keep seeking the eternal Kingdom, things above, which are unseen (eternal) not the things of the earth (seen). Keep looking up, your redemption is at hand. Be bold church. Seek Him first. Honor your Lord. Eternity is a long time.
The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glory that will be revealed within us.

I believe that President Trump will serve this country another 4yrs, based on this…I’ve read it in Scripture! It’s all over the Old Testament, every time God cleared out a government or a people group, He handed the land over to HIS people! Millions of Christians came together in our nation and from around the World to pray for Repentance and Revival this past September at The Return and I know God heard us, the Holy Spirit heard the groaning of our hearts, for ourselves and for our nation.

We are living in such an awesome time. This is not about President Trump, this is not about Joe Biden, this is about Spiritual warfare!
“Look at the nations and watch— and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” Habakkuk 1:5…
The American Church has lacked faith in the God that they profess for a long time…Scripture and the history books are filled with the impossible that only God can do…What if that is where we are right now, the impossible that only God can pull off and the leaders of the American Church are going to miss it because of their lack of faith…When God’s hand starts to move over our country next week are you going to watching it from the safety of the sheepfold, or are you going to be running from the goat barn praying that the gate is still open……
So true followers of Christ, if you ever believed for one moment that God would use President Trump to show His judgment and love to His people (cause He’s got to use someone) go to the Lord in prayer, filter it through the Scriptures and if you find peace, share your faith of God’s hand in this present time to others, focus on Jesus and step out of the boat…If you do, then you will be blessed with the ability to truly witness for Christ when others see the things you have spoke of…that doesn’t make us prophets, it makes us Heralders!
We can be thankful that we serve a True and Awesome God of the creation! He sent His only Son to redeem us and allow us to be adopted into His family! Our Gode provides peace, protection, provision, safety, health and healing to those who trust Him and seek His will for our lives! Through His Son, Jesus Christ, He demonstrated His unconditional Love, Mercy, and Grace! Thanks be to God! Amen!🙏❤️🙏👆❤️🇺🇸🙏
Thank you Father, for confirming Your prophesies in Your time and allowing us to be present to be Your chosen vessels! Cleanse us – make Your bride ready by the washing of the Word. Send us Holy Spirit courage to move and speak at Your Word. In Jesus’ powerful name,

In the late 80’s I was a new Christian and GOD told me I was to be a teacher. I was in my 30’s, divorced with 2 small children and had a great job in business that I liked, but I could not have afforded to go to college. I quit my job of 21 years and moved closer to my family so I would have babysitters that I could trust with my children. I worked another good job waiting for the day that GOD would send me to school. I never doubted that I would become a teacher! 2 years later, I was fired from my job for no good reason. I was so excited that the CEO that fired me thought I was crazy, but I knew GOD was working in my firing! 3 weeks later I began college paying only $9 out of my pocket for my first semester! I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education 4 years later and began teaching! 2 years later I heard GOD say go back and get a Master’s degree. I knew nothing about a Master’s degree or how to get it. I called my college and they told me who to call. I made an appointment and as I sat down and said “I am here to get a Master’s degree in Education but I know nothing about it.” The lady I was talking to clapped her hands and said “oh good! We will pay your tuition and if you want to work as a Graduate Assistant, we will pay you!” A year and a half later I had a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership! I said all of this to remind us that we walk by faith, not by sight! What GOD says, HE is able to perform! I have been a teacher in a public school for 23 years! I have led a student to the LORD, prayed with both students and colleagues, and taught the truth about the history of America! We are to believe GOD’S Prophets and prosper! Thank you, wise words always welcome! The shock to me is our Christian response to other Christians! I have felt the Lord calling for reconciliation and forgiveness for each other in our churches. The Bible, itself says we are to be made up in our own mind what we think. I am talking about sincere believers. Instead, there is a failure to even try to reconcile. The church and the world, needs a revival. Whether one comes or not is up to us, we must do our part. God Himself said our actions make a difference. The enemies primary targets are those in power. He will do or oppress us in any way he thinks will work. We must be diligent. We must look for peace, while not lowering our standards. This will be hard, but going forward, this isn’t all about us! We must not personalize any of the fiery darts coming our way. Open our ears Lord, we want to hear you. Open our eyes Lord, we want to see you. Open our mouths Lord, so we can bless You with wise words (I believe you are pleased when we reflect back a vision that looks like You Lord). At this time, we need wisdom and we need a strong leader that will lead us with integrity honesty, courage, a willingness to die for you if he/she has to. Please speak to our leaders Lord! Stop your children from fighting over petty things. We should all agree on the apostolic creed and after that GRACE!! Those who aren’t getting agree, but sit back and look on those who do quarrel, you are also responsible. The church must arise! The answer to everything going on at this time is Jesus, with His full army doing our jobs for the salvation of souls and our country. No one should be disrespected. Violence is NOT our manner of influencing the world. We all need the fruit of the Spirit. The only way to get it, is to be saved then realize, God does the work! We cannot accomplish any fruit on our own. The goal of our faith is love, which comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith. We can’t make ourselves get the fruit (we can fake it for awhile), surrender is the first step. Trust God and he will do the good work! Let’s show the world Jesus, by our actions and our live for one another. There is so much more I could say.

Tammy, you are like so many of us. We are like sheep and Jesus is our shepherd. As sheep, we struggle in our weakness and sometimes wander off. But, He rejoices to come after us and rescue us. Remember the promise of Romans 8:1 – There is therefore now no condemnation for those that are in Christ the Lord. Or, 1 John 1:9 – If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and to cleanse us of ALL unrighteousness. And, even as Paul himself had to be reminded, Philippians 3:13-14 …but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Go forward in faith knowing that as we draw unto Him, God will draw Himself unto us.

Tammy, the devil is the one who stirs up thoughts and feelings of condemnation, failure and throws your past in your face, but the conviction of the Holy Spirit is gentle, loving, hopeful, and merciful (Romans 2:4)- and invites you to let Him come in to your life to do all the work to change your bad habits. You just CHOOSE to apply the Word of God to every situation, and resist all the junk the devil throws at you- resist and he must flee!(James 4:7). You already know how to do this- we have all had those mornings where we wake up and hit the snooze over and over, because we don’t FEEL like getting up; we WANT to sleep. But, we know that we must get up and go to work so we can keep our job; so despite how we feel and what we want, we get up and go to work. Standing on God’s Word works the same way -despite what thoughts the devils trying to whisper in your ear, you rebuke him and replace those thoughts with the Word of God. When the devil tells you you’re a failure, you tell him God’s Word says you are the head and not the tail (Deut 27:13)!
More on deliverance: “Please remember that a letter is never delivered when it leaves your hand, it’s only delivered when it shows up where it’s supposed to be. God wants to not only bring you out, but take you all the way in! Some of you have come out but you’ve not yet entered- you’ve come out of sickness, but you’re not living in health; you’ve come out of bondage but you’re not living in freedom; you’ve come out of poverty, but you’re not living in prosperity. Psalm 34:19 declares, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous…” You didn’t know how scriptural you were, did you?! You didn’t know that you are actually being scriptural when you’re bombarded or when you’re buffeted. Jesus said that “in this world, you will have tribulation, you’ll have persecution” -but he didn’t leave us there, he said “but remember, FAITH overcomes the world!” Your faith right now is being expressed as you receive these words into your life. So it’s all right! You can square your shoulders, & you can declare “many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” Psalm 25:20 declares, “O keep my soul and deliver me; let me not be ashamed for I put my trust in thee.” Psalm 144:7 declares, “send thy hand from above…” Oh, I pray that for you right now! I pray that God will extend His mighty right arm of power over the sapphire sill of heaven’s gate; that He will lay His nail-pierced hand into your situation right now from above, and deliver you; that He will send His hand from above. He’s doing it -don’t you sense it, even now?! He’s placing that hand upon you and according to Psalm 144:7, that hand, that anointing, is ridding you and delivering you out of great and overflowing waters, from the hand of strange children! Joel 2:32 says, “and it shall come to pass…”…do you hear that in your spirit? What’s the devil going to do with folks that KNOW “it shall come to pass”?!! In the Bible Israel asked God what to do first and we also have record in the Bible of God hardening the enemy’s heart to set them up for Him to act. I don’t think we need Trump for God’s will to happen nor does Trump need to endure 4 more years of criticism and betrayal. He may have other plans for the president. We got here I believe because the church left it’s first love. We are of the Laiadocian church. The last church of the Church age. I believe God is setting us up to be raptured and ready. When? Only God knows. But the rapture requires we be ready at all times, and not in any way putting our hope in this world to become paradise. No no, scripture is clear on what will happen. The church raptured, the peace treat with Isreal and the AntiChrist will be signed and all Hell will break out as God pours out his viles of wrath on a wicked unbelieving world. Yet, God still sends the 144,000 witnesses from the tribes of Isreal to share the gospel. Many will get saved. Oh such grace and mercy. But most who get saved will be killed. We, as Christians must not walk in fear! The Just live by faith not by fear. Job said, “The thing I feared the most has come upon me.” (Job 3:25) This is the verse which has helped me through many ordeals to focus on Christ and not on my fears, which I’ve learned to give to Him. My mother died from cancer when I was 15 and she was 51. For years I lived with the fear that I would too, until I found this verse and stood on it. I am now 76 years old and can testify that it works to live by faith rather than by fear. Whatever happens in the next week, year, or years, He will be with us to strengthen and to guide us by His Spirit. He has allowed all of this for the reason only He Himself knows. All He asks us to do is to trust Him and not live in fear.

Linda totally understand how you have felt. My family too history of cancer. I was waiting for a test result to come back and went up for prayer one Sunday morning (this was years ago.) The lady that prayed for me said you know when you made Jesus your Lord and Savior you no longer have the DNA of your mother father etc you now have the DNA of Jesus !! You were created in the imagine of God fearfully and wonderfully made ! That changed my life !

God is interested in His Church and over the past weeks during our church’s 21 days of Prayer,
the focus is that the Church would arise and seize on this opportunity to be a Witness
of Love and unity and Forgiveness (John 17). He is Sovereign in everything !
As I mentioned in a previous response, in September the Holy Spirit during a time of prayer clearly
told me that Trump would not win a second term and to prepare for a Biden presidency. I discerned
He had a greater purpose in mind then we see, so my prayer was that His will be done, rather then be discouraged…
As a group of us in leadership were praying yesterday, we discerned that many in the Church being
disappointed in the election outcome, were overwhelmed by a spirit of discouragement that the enemy had released over the church.
Saints, we need to be wise and know God is Sovereign. He began to speak to me
again that He had a great purpose in mind and to prepare for an Awakening and pouring out of a Spirit
of Grace and Power that He wanted to release upon the Church in the next year or 2.

Personally I am dreading the thought of Tuesday, 1/20/21. “Illegitimate Beijing Biden” does not deserve our respect. I appreciate Suni’s comments. I pray that something great will happen if and when President Trump has to leave office! I want him to save face in a great way–Trump style–he deserves that! He has served the body of Christ well during his first term. 74 million Americans are devoted to his ideals. Our voices may be silenced but our devotion isn’t! The thought that has been running thru my mind is that the American people are being duped. Our foreign enemies (China, Russia, Iran) have infiltrated our Congress. They have successed in pitting us against one another when it is them we should be uniting against. We have been short-sighted! Will we figure that out soon rather than later??? God help us!

Yes, I so desire for our beloved President to know how much he is loved, appreciated and revered for his great courage in the face of ceaseless opposition! We can support his legacy by always punching back like he taught us to do! He will live in our hearts and he will motivate us to “Make America Great Again” in spite of the mess we are in!
