I Prayed have prayed
Father God, we look to You for help with the border crisis. Thank You for answering our prayers for creative ideas. Help these people find a home where they can know You and live out Your purposes for their lives.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced a new rule Monday indicating that migrants who cross the southern border are not eligible for asylum unless they apply in the first safe country they enter.

We are thankful for this common sense rule change and pray that it will positively affect the crisis at the border. Pray through our immigration prayer resource.

The rule, which only applies to prospective claims and will be finalized Tuesday, would effectively torpedo the current flood of asylum seekers, which consists mainly of Central American migrants who cross through multiple countries before reaching the U.S.

Attorney General Bill Barr released the following statement regarding the rule:

“The United States is a generous country but is being completely overwhelmed by the burdens associated with apprehending and processing hundreds of thousands of aliens along the southern border. This Rule will decrease forum shopping by economic migrants and those who seek to exploit our asylum system to obtain entry to the United States—while ensuring that no one is removed from the United States who is more likely than not to be tortured or persecuted on account of a protected ground.”

Migrants who claim credible fear when they reach the U.S. — but did not apply for asylum in a country they traversed through, whether Mexico, Guatemala, etc. — will thus be removed. The DOJ and DHS said that they expect the rule will allow them to more efficiently process asylum claims, which have recently backlogged the immigration system. . . .

The ruling stems from provisions in the Immigration and Nationality Act, which states that migrants denied asylum will be sent back to the country they traversed through, and that migrants cannot resettle in another country and then come to the U.S. to claim asylum. (Excerpt from Daily Caller.)

No more loopholes anymore in Jesus’ mighty name!!! Thank you intercessors! We could not have come up with this idea ourselves but by the Holy Spirit giving the law makers and AG G-d ideas to run with. I love this. Also pray for the safety of Liz Crokin Official YouTube videos, who is a journalist. She is exposing the evil of pedophiles internationally. Pray for the children and infants and anyone who was and is sex-trafficked. It has to end so please pray it through!

Yes, Carole. I agree with everything you have said! Just recently I asked the Lord to break the border situation, let’s pray this new rule will be enforced. God is helping! Thank you for telling us about Liz Crokin. We must pray protection for all those who are standing for right and truth, also for wisdom, bravery, encouragement, and success. God is angry when orphans and widows are abused, and He waits for us to pray. May God reveal the truth and deal with people to want it. May He cause those who hate the truth to be ashamed. Prayer and fasting is the key!

Amen to prayers of Amanda, Deb and Laura. Praise the Lord that He is restraining lawlessness through the prayers of the righteous that avail much because of Jesus Christ righteousness. He is NOT LAWLESS and there is NOT WICKEDNESS IN HIM BUT ALL HIS WAYS ARE RIGHT! Thank God for the strength He is giving to our attorney general and those with him.

This is long overdue. As a Christian I am to love all people but when I was rushed to the ER I was turned away because all the immigrants were using the hospital as a doctors office for free medical care. In spite of being doubled over and my family member begging them to take me they told us it would be a 5 hour wait.

Now I warn others how dangerous this immigration has gotten.

Yes, Fox. Not enough has been said by the media about how we are being impacted at the local level. Thank you for sharing your story, please keep sharing it! Immigration also hurts poor communities and local schools. May God give local leaders bravery to speak out with common sense in heading off what will be eventual unmanagable problems. Let’s lift them up in prayer.

My dear Lord, I pray for the People who are fleeing their circumstances in other countries to know when they are being manipulated & put in harms way. Provide a safe place as soon as their feet leave their country so they will be spared the dangers of a long journey full of obstacles placed by the enemy. May they prosper and find You in Jesus Name and help the Church be Your hands & feet to them. So Be It. Amen

I Pray in agreement with Amanda. I pray that individuals who are approached about or tempted to join this migration syndrome, would be given a discerning spirit and the deception exposed. I pray for the “recycled” children, victims of this evil deception. Please give them avenues of escape; provide protection and give them the insight and discerning spirit the need and the ability to resist being used in this evil. Your Heart is with them Lord! In our precious Savior’s Name, Amen!

Amanda and Deb I fully agree with you both. Amen and Amen.
I pray Lord that You will give creativity, grace, wisdom and understanding to the law makers for immigration rules and that they would not be blocked from becoming law.
