I Prayed have prayed
Father God, where there is hope of salvation for any person, we ask that You would extend mercy, bring them to repentance, and save them.

We the people of the United States of America have long been too merciful in our prayers.

I recognize that this statement is going to raise some eyebrows, but the simple fact is that God has designed and fashioned His church—His ekklesia—to be THE governing body on the earth. And if we do not sit in governance, we are not truly functioning as the church that Christ built.

“In what way should we govern,” you ask?

In many ways. Today, however, I want to call your attention to a principle that King David of the Bible knew, but which we have forgotten: the fact that God does want to judge His enemies.

It’s true that mercy triumphs over judgment. However, it’s also true that the Bible tells us that there are some people for whom mercy is not an option—people who have rejected God for the last time, and for whom the opportunity to repent will not be presented again.

Romans 1:24-32 tells us this:

“Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them” (Romans 1:24-32 NKJV, emphasis mine).

According to Strong’s Concordance, the word translated “debased” in Romans 1:28 means “unapproved, i.e. rejected; by implication, worthless (literally or morally):–castaway, rejected, reprobate.” This tells us that there are some people who have rejected the wake-up call of their conscience enough times that their mind has literally become morally worthless. These are the people who have rejected God … and the Bible tells us that these are people upon whom God has given up.

Although we do not like to hear it, the simple fact is that people who have permanently decided to reject God are His enemies.

And when their decision against salvation has become final, even though God does not prefer to judge them (He would rather save them), He will judge them—because they have permanently embraced wickedness. For those unfortunate souls, salvation is no longer an option.

Our job as intercessors is to pray the Word of God at all times.

This means to pray for salvation for all those for whom salvation is possible. However, it also means that, as the Psalmists did, we should pray for judgment against those who have permanently rejected God.

I do not recommend that any of us sit in judgment against any person personally; that is not our place. God alone knows every heart, and God alone can tell whether a person has permanently refused Him or not. So I would never say, “Pray that this person or that person be destroyed.” That is for God, and God alone, to decide.

But I do believe that we, as the church, need to rise up and pray judgment upon whomever God deems to be His enemies—for our deliverance from the hand of our enemies only comes when the Lord rises up to fight for us and against them.

Are you ready to pray? Pray this with me, asking the Lord to rise up and judge His enemies:

“Abba Father God, we come to You in Jesus’ name. Father, thank You for inclining Your ear to hear our prayer today. Thank You for Your mercy toward us who are covered with the blood of Jesus, for You are the great Judge of all the earth—and it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God.

Holy Father, we come to You today to ask in Jesus’ name that You would deliver us and help us. We are being oppressed by the wicked, Lord. Those who hate You and everything You stand for have risen up against the righteous, and we cannot conquer the wicked ourselves.

But Abba Father, You can. And Father, we know and believe that You sit in the heavens and laugh at Your enemies. We know and believe that You, and You only, are He who lifts one king up and brings another down. And You only, Father, have power over all the earth—to save or judge as You see fit.

Father, for all the wicked ones who have not heard Your message of salvation, but for whom there is still hope:

We ask that You would open their ears to hear the message of salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ. Give them ears to hear and eyes to see, Abba Father, and open their hearts and conscience to the Gospel. Shower them with Your goodness, which brings men to repentance; and save them, Father.

But Father, for those who have permanently rejected Your salvation, who have given themselves over to a degenerate mind and for whom there is no hope of repentance:

We ask, O Lord, that You would rise up and judge Your enemies. And together with the Psalmists we pray:

  • Let God arise, and His enemies be scattered; let those who hate You flee before You (see Psalm 68:1).
  • Wound and crush the heads of Your enemies, destroying their power and influence (see Psalm 68:21-23).
  • Dethrone Your adversaries. Let their violence and their wicked plots return on their own heads (see Psalm 75:7; Psalm 7:16).
  • Let the sword of the wicked enter their own heart; let their tools and weapons be broken (see Psalm 37:15).
  • Cut the wicked off and let them not even be found on the earth anymore (see Psalm 37:10).

Father, we know it is not Your will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. However, we also know that those who have given themselves over to a debased and degenerate mind, who have permanently rejected You, are wreaking havoc on the earth.

So Father, for Your great name’s sake, and for the sake of all the righteous ones, we ask today in Jesus’ name that, according to Your will only, You would judge, destroy, obliterate, humiliate, and embarrass the enemy and all his dark forces who are at work in America.

Father, Your victory was purchased for us upon the cross with the blood of Your Son Jesus Christ, and humbly ask today that You reveal and enforce that victory in America.

So finally, Father, we speak to America, as well as to her enemies and allies. We stand together today in our role as the governing ekklesia of God, and we say:

  • To every political seat;
  • To every election and polling place;
  • To every corporate boardroom;
  • To every financial position and pillar;
  • To every source of funding for the activities of the wicked;
  • To every abortion clinic;
  • To every crooked politician;
  • To every house of government, from each local mayor’s office to the state houses to the White House;

And we say:

‘O wicked ones, wherever you may be found, hear the word of the Lord:

We command you in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus to repent and be saved. And if you will not, we declare and decree Your judgment in the name of the Holy One of Israel, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, that you must be removed, judged, cast down, and utterly destroyed by the great God of all the earth in Jesus’ name.’

Thank You, Father. Thank You for Your mercy toward us, and for Your great love for our nation. Thank You for hearing and answering our prayer.

In Jesus’ holy, mighty, majestic, and matchless name we pray, amen.”

Beloved, we have been silent and merciful to the wicked too long. Let us each rise up today and become the true ekklesia—seated in judgment to carry out our righteous cause, and obeying the mandate Christ gave us when He fashioned His church before the foundation of the world.

This the way I have been praying – for our enemies BUT if their hearts are so harden they have to be removed to save this country – not hinder the work of The Lord! To bring justice and to remove all of those radical politicians and others from increasingly hatred of our Lord, His Church, and Christians!!! God’s Word says in Isaiah 60:22 “I the Lord will hasten in His time.” Thank you for this prayer – I pray we all will keep praying and standing up for our country!!!

No matter what your denomination nobody has ever suggested that Mary, the Mother of Jesus, was in any way a harsh or uncaring person yet when we really meditate on her prayer in St Luke’s it is pretty startling and not “too merciful” : God casts down the mighty (probably as in arrogant) from their thrones and lifts up the lowly, he fills the hungry with good things, and sends the rich empty away” So therefore if probably the nicest woman in all of history prayed that way then we certainly are allowed to pray that way! The arrogance of those in MSM and these dictator governors- and AntiTrumpers. is exponentially increasing right now. Dear Almighty God Cast these arrogant people from their high places today!

Good points.
The problem is that we do not actually know (and should not presume to know) which people
“have rejected God for the last time, and for whom the opportunity to repent will not be presented again.” This is in the province and prescience of God alone. Therefore, we are much better to err on the side of mercy than to err on the side of judgmentalism. We are to love the sinner and hate the sin… which means we are indeed supposed to point out what the scriptures reveal to be sin. But we are to do this gently, showing them the self-destructive consequences of their thinking, behavior, and lifestyle, with the goal of winning them to Christ. Our goal should never just be to control their behavior to our liking.

Dr. Bruce Atkinson

    Respectfully, Dr Atkinson, Jamie says, rightly, that God alone knows the condition of each person’s heart. Her prayer is carefully crafted with this in mind — not judging any specific individual, but leaving it to God alone to judge, and determine the destiny of, each person.

I went to read the topic about being too merciful in our prayers, but the text was hidden. I do not want to download this at this time. But I would say “YES” we have been way too merciful in our prayers. There is definitely a place for mercy, but this is not the time for it.

Satan and his 2020 emissaries will never play fair in an election and their most frequent tactic is generating strife and propaganda to the frightened godless. The war on God’s people is upon us and perhaps this war will go on to become apocoliptic and fulfill the book of revelation prophecies. However, Jesus is trust worthy and faithful and he has the final say on what shall be in his realm.
Satan is a defeated foe who is bent on harming and destroying God’s believers. He sends his emissaries into the world to plan and execute his scorched earth policy of a retreating army and he knows his very existence is coming to an end. Like caption Ahab’s total hatred for Moby Dick, he so hates God and Jesus the Christ.

Amen! This is spiritual warfare and warfare involves the destruction of the enemy’s ability to fight.
We as intercessors must be ruthless and unrelenting in this. Often this means praying to “break the arm(s) of the wicked”—in our day, the arm of the wicked is/are those governments, organizations, institutions and power structures that enable them to carry out their wickedness in the earth (e.g. Planned Parenthood, Democrat Party, Chinese Communist Party…etc.).

Would that all the Lord’s people read and pray the Scriptures, and war on their knees accordingly—that they would learn to weaponize prayer! Would that all the Lord’s people were warrior intercessors—that they would let the Scriptures give voice to the cry of their hearts and prevail upon Him to break the power of the wicked in our day!

For so long I have pondered the same thing. As i read the Psalms I was often confused, wondering if I should pray in accordance with the word or if “that was meant for another time.” One time in mid-week church prayer meeting the air seemed to grow cold as I called for the “mouth of the slanderer to be shut.” Psalm 140:11 I continued to pray according to the Word in my private prayer closet. I receive this as an answer to my prayer because I didn’t want to pray with a double mind…Thank you for your instruction.

The Church looks like the world, for we have refused to be the line in the sand regarding your precepts and commands. I love the gays because i befriended them in San Francisco, this does not mean i love the work of the enemy done to and through them. I have also been given the wisdom that the “Prince of the Air” has used them to affect a public mocking of God, understand me, they have been used. Father we ask that we would “trust in the Lord with all our heart, leaning not to our understanding, in all our ways acknowledging You so that You might direct our paths”. I also pray the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord would fall on Your people so we might have Your wisdom in these times. In Jesus name, Amen

Amen! Thank you so much. Spirit-led prayers for such a time as this. Glory to One whose name is Faithful and True!

He is so good and faithful and leads us by His Spirit on exactly how to pray in every season. Many have been praying for many years for corruption to be exposed at every level of government, driven out, and replaced by righteous, God fearing leaders who can’t be bought. This fact should encourage many…For why lead us to pray this way if He did not also intend to answer? He wouldn’t hallelujah. How we praise Him!

Many have also had a strong spirit of justice resting on their prayers for some time, so thank you so much for writing this to instruct that it is in line with His Word to do so. A MUCH needed word of Him for now.

Say to those who are fearful-hearted,
“Be strong, do not fear!
Behold, your God will come with vengeance,
With the recompense of God;
He will come and save you.” – Isaiah 35:4

I’m led to pray from Psalm 37 a lot as well. e.g. verses 1-2, ” Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb,….
verses 12-15, “The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth. 13 The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming. 14 The wicked have drawn the sword And have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay those who are of upright conduct. 15 Their sword shall enter their own heart, And their bows shall be broken.”

This is an important post to share. God bless.

I would encourage to consider the docu-series “Truth About Vaccines” and prayerfully consider about the information present before taking this vaccine.

    D.L. McClaskie
    December 5, 2020

    Thank you, brother. We are not taking vaccines or any COVID one in our household. Some vaccines are filled with cell proteins and DNA from aborted babies in them. Thus, the product of murder is being injected into mostly our children by the millions. What a wicked way to give place to the devil in this nation, our children, etc.!

    People can search out the matter as scripture instructs by doing a deep research on the MMR vaccine. And watching documentaries as you mentioned. God made us perfect and with the ability to have natural herd immunity. We are created with multiple avenues of immunity above and beyond mere antibodies. God is awesome!

    And we take Psalm 91 literally here.

    So passionate about this subject. I know of several vaccine injured children whose lives and the lives of their families are in agony and ruins over it. And sadly, they are gaslighted and mocked even by believers. 🙁

    Discernment pushes us to ask: Who developed vaccines to begin with like the MMR? Atheists who hate God and believe in evolution. So why as believers have we adopted the science of the godless as our own? Science that says there is no God.

    Vaccine injury is also very real. Many with autism have vaccine induced autism (e.g. high levels of heavy metals in hair samples that they were not able to detox and accumulated in their brains and caused inflammation and as we know vaccines are filled with heavy metals).

    God’s people have been perishing for lack of knowledge on this for FAR too long, but praise God, many are waking up to it too.

    I would boldly go as far as to state that every church who truly loves His sheep and fears Him before they fear man should have a statement on vaccines warning them of their ingredients (again some grew in cell lines of aborted babies and cell proteins and DNA from murdered babies end up in the final product and injected into our children, heavy metals, etc etc). An abomination in the eyes of the Lord.

I release my faith and pray in agreement the prayer you shared Jamie. We stand on the word of God and all he says is true, we will speak! Isaiah 41:10-13 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you., Psalm 118:15-17 Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: The Lord’s right hand has done mighty things! The Lord’s right hand is lifted high; the Lord’s right hand has done mighty things! I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever. Psalm 136:1, Yes and Amen!

YES AMEN!! I have been hearing the Lord say the very same thing. We are in a Battle, The fight for the life of America and our constitution! See…..America also is a protector of Israel and Jerusalem!! As believers, we are to line ourselves up with what God tells us to do and he’s called us into the Army of his dear Son! He has declared victory over America. He’s NOT finished with America. And he is expecting his Ekklesia to rise up and battle with him. We are watchman on his wall and we’re to stand with him. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy God‘s plan for America and God‘s plan for the reformation in this New Era. The enemy wants to abort anything that God has planned. But not on our Watch!! Remember in Joshua chapter 5, Joshua encountered The Captain of the Lord’s Army who was ready for battle and Joshua immediately took off his shoes as he knew he was standing on holy ground. Totally Awesome!! Our God is mighty in battle. Let the Record in Heaven declare that we are on the side of the Lord! He is victorious in battle. And those who oppose him WILL BE removed from office, from their positions and Be remembered no more!! Like pharaoh’s army “Their PRIDE has driven them” into the Red Sea and they shall be remembered no more!!

    Your comment reminded me of a message I sent out earlier this week. His Word is final and I am so thankful this website was shared with me. Strength in the Lord, He is Elohim, Yahweh-Sabbaoth, El-Roi…we will not fear. Blessings to you Starr.
    Psalm 35 is a prayer of David, who was appealing to the Lord to fight against those who were fighting against him. “May they be disgraced and be put to confusion; may they who are plotting harm be repulsed and put to shame…the Lord is our salvation.” As David continues, he recounts all the evil planned for him adding, “when I stumble, they gather in glee; they gather against me and strike me unawares; they tear me apart unceasingly. With ungodly mocking and grimacing, they grind their teeth at me.” I pray Father, please defend us who love You and “may those who aggrandize themselves be covered with shame. But for us who delight in righteousness, joyful shouts and gladness.” I pray we will say “How great is Adonai, who delights in the peace of His servant!” I pray we will tell of the Lord’s righteousness and praise Him all day long. Praise goes before the battle! May the praise of Jesus Christ cover you!

THANK YOU for this article! Actually, I have been praying approximately this very thing myself for a couple of weeks, after I heard a very godly brother praying that God would lead his enemies and the enemies of his people to repentance OR that He would judge them and remove them completely. Thanks for validating what my spirit already told me would be wise to pray!!

Thank you Jamie Rohrbaugh from timely teaching pointing to the Word of God. God loves his creation, but not all will become part of His kingdom. That needs to be accepted rather than trying to explain away with “my God would never…..” In the 90’s I read a book by James E. Adams that contributed to my growth regarding this subject. “War Psalms of the Prince of Peace –Lessons from the Imprecatory Psalms”

Amen and Amen. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight.” “Our God is a consuming fire” but “the Word is near us”….confess and believe people! God is the same today as in the beginning…He hates sin… “haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.” Thank you Father for Jesus. In this Christmas season, may the world know Your Son and be saved. There is no other way.

Aslan is on the prowl.
He will speak, He will be heard, and they will not be able to resist the Truth.!They will melt oh way By His roar of Justice. The Righteous will stand firm against all odds! And the Righteous Judge will rule over the judges that are evil. The wicked will be shaken to their bones, and they will wish them selves as dead! Their guilt will find them out. Their stomachs will burn in grief. And out of their agony their mouth will proclaim their guilt.

Jesus went into the temple when they were being dishonest, “this is it this is enough of this, and he grabbed the tables an over turned them! The Holy Spirit shall bring conviction, and to those who are unwilling to repent, your time is up, move on to another job, because you have proved that you are not serving our country as a true patriot!
The Lord arrested Saul for persecuting Christians, He send such a bright light Saul fell to the ground and could not see! Lord we ask you to arrest those who stand in the way of a true and fair election! Come an establish a Holy fear, reveal yourself and bring conviction. Follow hard after them, expose their evil deeds. and speak to them. As you breathe over them, may their hearts be softened. Woo them into your presence. completely.
We should pray for His perfect will that is in Heaven come to earth in all these situations. If His perfect will can not be accomplished because people are stubborn and go their own way, His permissible will takes place.
The Holy Spirit is very creative. We can’t put this one in a box. He may be calling you to pray differently than He calls your friend how to pray. We have all prayed passive prayers….although it is time to rise up and fight, speaking to the mountains to be removed and every demonic force to bow to the name of Jesus! spiritual warfare is warring in the spirit.
In a nut shell, it depends most of all what the attitude of our heart is.
Do we pray from a pure heart that is willing to repent? Are we speaking from an arrogant heart? Our prayers are more effective depends on our posture that we have before the Lord.
the truth is I am tired of passivity, if we want to be on the winning team , it is time speak with authority, Jesus went to heaven and our Father is asking us to carry out His plans and purposes and it first starts with prayers that carry the authority of God. He has seated us in Heavenly places to rule and reign with Him!
Amen

I have felt as looking over the last 10 years or so that there are deceived people, people with the blinders of the god of this world on and definitely wicked people. I have prayed against the wicked and recently have addressed my prayers to the Lord of Heaven’s armies as in the Old Testament. In all of those previous categories as relates to our nation, both politicians and voters have chosen positions that go against the laws and knowledge of God. I pray for a great revival and change in the hearts and mind of people. I pray for a great revival. I pray that God would execute justice and righteousness in our land and that His will be done. I feel that the church has not stood up publicly very much on those moral issues, that we have been hiding in our church building because we don’t want to offend anyone. We have reaped our silence. We must arise as the light and salt, keep praying and interceding and watch what Our Savior will do🙏🏻🗡✅‼️

What a beautiful prayer! I have also been praying like this for some time now. It is clear that God has removed His hand from many and given them over to a debased mind – the insane thinking in their minds is so evident! Groups who claim to follow “science” completely ignore chromosomes and DNA – it is astounding. I pray that those who might be saved will be saved, and those whose hearts are too hardened to be saved will be punished and even removed from the earth. I believe Jesus must be coming for His church soon because, if He does not, an entire generation will be brainwashed by the educational system and will be lost. It is heartbreaking to read about 8 year old children having transgender treatments – God help us!!!

Your prayer has been my prayer for the last year!!! At first I felt guilty about praying that way but ultimately realized it is the ONLY way to pray. Everything we hold dear is at stake!!!! I do pray for those who are blinded to have their eyes opened and receive the Lord but for the reprobates, I pray for the Lord to remove them from their places of power, and authority is whatever way He sees fit to do!!!!!!

    I agree with you.
    I pray this way because God to me we are at war
    And whats being exposed is not pretty. We always put the armour on and pray
    With the Lord.
    He said darkness would be deeper the battle intense but we are to lock arms with those battling fot justice. Our prayers do change. I sat under kim Clement he was the real deal.

Powers and principalities in the spiritual realm, with Satan as their leader……. those are the enemies I believe we must bring down and trample under our feet. For as long as a human, created by our Lord and Savior breathe air and blood runs through their veins and arteries, there is hope for them and God longs for them to come into His loving arms and receive the free and glorious gift of Salvation.

Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
Luke 18:6‭-‬8 NKJV

Father God,
We pray that Your church will look to You as our Avenger. We pray that our faith will not fail. As the evil is exposed and the lawless ones are brought to justice, it is You and YOU ALONE WHO WILL RECEIVE ALL GLORY, HONOR AND PRAISE. Our eyes are fixed on You and our faith rests in You alone. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen

AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!!!!!! I have sensed this for a very long time!!! If you are not for God, you’re against Him!!! Reminds me of that child’s song “Never Smile at a Crocodile, don’t be taken in by his welcome grin, he only thinking how you’ll fit within his skin!! The enemy taunts us to display fruit of meekness, mercy and kindness where it should not apply. We need supernatural “DISCERNMENT “!!! Thank God for mercy, we ALL need mercy!!!! But God is also a God of JUSTICE !!!! And I declare and decree that HIS Justice comes SWIFTLY, CORRECTLY, and EFFECTIVELY!!!!!! Today is the day of salvation/Deliverance

I have long believed that the number of reprobates is at an all-time high and will continue increasing until we are hated of all men for His sake. And that reprobates are the greatest persecutors of the Church, because they have nothing more to lose. There is absolutely no reason for them to fear God (Psa 130:4b). And I believe it is inappropriate to pray for them (1Sa 16:1, 1Jn 5:16b). But I do not agree that the enemies of Psa 68:1 are limited to reprobates. I know many Christians, especially in the black community, who have a beam in their eye that deceives them into fighting against righteousness (they couldn’t care less about a stolen election, or the death threats against those who are trying to get to the bottom of voter fraud, etc.). Enemies are anyone who is not on the Lord’s side. And all of them will be scattered, just like the strange calm the nation saw days after the previous election.

There are several examples in the Holly Bible where God commanded the un repented to be killed or destroyed them himself. Just one exzample is when Moses came down the mountain and found that his own people made the golden calf and did worship it. Those who would destroy today are no different.

Amen! I am in total agreement. The Lord even gave me a person’s name for the first time and said this person will hang on their own gallows. He said this person doesn’t have enough words (remember the game hangman) to save him from hangman! He told me to stop praying for this person. It’s judgement time and time to pray God’s heart! It is His will that none perish, but the sad part is some will perish because of their own evil agendas to place themselves above God!
Thank you so much for sharing this! You are right on! Pray God’s heart, God’s will, God’s way. Amen!

Lord please help us Your faithful with the wicked. Many will not repent and believe in You. Too many too often act too inappropriately
And sinfully push around Your children. Lord please push them around for Your Holy Name’s sake. Amen.
