A legal battle continues over a ban against dismemberment abortion in Oklahoma.
Last week, Oklahoma County District Judge Cindy Truong ruled in favor of the state’s effort to ban dismemberment abortion. The case was brought by Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR), working on behalf of an abortion facility in Tulsa….
Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life, says dismemberment abortion is the most common type of abortion used on unborn babies who have grown beyond the first trimester.
“And they just don’t want any law that will protect babies to stand,” Tobias says of CRR and its attorneys who frequently challenge pro-life laws.
Twelve states have passed laws banning the dismemberment method, which Tobias calls “gruesome” because the unborn babies can feel pain.
With her ruling, Judge Truong became the first judge to uphold a ban on dismemberment abortion. (Excerpt from One News Now article by Chris Woodward)

All abortion is sin and I don’t believe in it but please explain what are the alternatives to this? If babies in the womb can feel, which is pretty obvious then they will feel any type of execution just as we would. I agree this ban is good but it can give us a false since that it’s not so bad now and maybe God won’t be as upset, after all it’s more humane.
Lord, bless, guard and keep Judge Truong. Put a hedge of protection around her. May her public and legal recognition of the cruelty of dismemberment abortion encourage other judges afraid to stand up and use the power and authority they have to protect the unborn. Amen.

Heavenly Father, thank you for Judge Cindy Truong’s ruling that helps protect these precious pre-born babies. I pray we as Christ followers continue to raise our voices and prayers for these innocent babies and that we support the women carrying these babies. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
