I Prayed have prayed
Thank you God that the public schools in South Dakota will display our national motto. We pray that other schools across the nation will display the motto for our youth to see.

A new law in South Dakota now requires all public schools across the state to feature the “In God We Trust” motto on display. Students returning to school this fall will be greeted by the message, which supporters say is meant to “inspire patriotism.”

“Some have plaques, others have it painted on the wall, maybe in a mural setting,” Associated School Boards of South Dakota executive director Wade Pogany said, describing how schools plan to implement the new law. The display of the quote is required to be at least 12 inches by 12 inches in size. In one school “it was within their freedom wall. They added that to a patriotic theme,” he said.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation has condemned the law, calling it part of a “stealth campaign” to inject religion into state legislation. “The motto ‘In God We Trust’ is inaccurate, exclusionary, and aimed at brainwashing American schoolchildren into believing that our nation is a theocracy,” the organization said in a news release Thursday.

The group urged people to contact their legislators to oppose the law. “Our position is that it’s a terrible violation of freedom of conscience to inflict a godly message on a captive audience of schoolchildren,” co-president Annie Laurie Gaylor said….

Father, we give you all glory and honor. Thank you for stirring the hearts that presented and support this change, may the concept spread coast to coast as your children throw off the shackles of Satan! Hallelujah!

Lord of Heaven and Earth, thank you for this decision! I am rejoicing! We have reaped a harvest of violence, hatred, and immorality since we cast You out of our public schools and other public arenas. My long-standing prayer continues that You will be welcome back into the lives of our children at our public schools. This is awesome news and an answer to prayer! Please forgive my lack of faith in this. Interesting to see the means whereby your name will be once again honored at school. Please protect Governor Noem and the legislators; may every endeavor to repeal this law be unsuccessful. In the name of Jesus I ask this.

Heavenly Father, Thank You for the bold stand for You in SD’s schools. May this boldness plant seeds in the hearts of the children to want to learn more about You and why we can trust in You. Father, I pray for those who are part of the Freedom from Foundation that their eyes might be opened to know the TRUTH and be set free from satan’s lies and deception. May their eyes and hearts be opened & their blindness ended. May Annie Laurie Gaylor come to know Jesus as her Savior. We pray satan’s captives will be set free and turned from their wicked ways. May they have conversions like the Apostle Paul and become Truth Seekers and encourage others to seek You too. These things I ask in Jesus’ Name. Amen

Thank you Lord for providing guidance to South Dakota’s leaders, Governor Noem and the legislature.
Forgive the opponents of the measure for their foolish prattle. Open their eyes Lord God, that they will know the truth.
