How do we shine as lights in this hour?
I had the privilege of working with one of my authors (I work in publishing) on a wordless picture book. It is wordless but speaks loudly. The book is entitled, Shine, by Dagny Griffin. I knew before it was published it was a prophetic message. But I had no idea how important it would be and the timing of its release. It came out this month.
It is a word to believers of our role in this hour.
It begins with the picture of a young girl, Mia, praying on her knees by her bed. The room is colorful. She is colorful. You wouldn’t know that there is anything wrong.
Then the little girl gets ready to go outside. She grabs her coat and muffler and opens the door. Her door is red and colorful. She is colorful. But when she steps out the door, the world and all the people in it are completely grey.
As she walks down the sidewalk, she waves to someone. A path of color emanates from her and makes a path across the road to the other person. From her wave, their greyness begins to turn them to color.
As the story progresses, everywhere she goes and interacts with those around her, many who are trapped in “grey,” begin to change. Others on the street begin to receive from her hope and turn to color.
Some people refuse and remain angry and grey. But it reveals how one young girl impacted her entire city. In the end, we see her drive away with her family to the next grey city which is in desperate need of change and hope as well.
This is our role.
Everywhere you go, you carry the Life of God (color). You are a Presence carrier in a dark grey world. When we speak His Word, we speak life, and impart life to those who have no hope.
In this hour of fear and dread from the COVID-19 virus and the resulting consequences, like the sudden surge in unemployment, we are in a world of “grey.” People are desperate for hope. We have the hope they need.
He is our Provider. He is our Peace. He is our Hope. He is our Healer.
May we “color” our world as we breathe out His Word and His Life into our families, neighborhoods, cities, and states.
It’s time to SHINE.

Praying it be available on line – for Christian school – (as Spring leads) and all students who are now in their homes doing all their work on computers and face time stuff… We of all ages are blessed by this creative book.
Paul said In 1 Corinthians 16: “so great a door of opportunity has opened for me in Ephesus”. This COVID 19 seems like a similar door for us. While we continue to pray protection, health, faith etc, I’d like to ask we pray for those who don’t yet know our Lord, who are fearful, and need most of all what we have to share. That our unstoppable God will give us opportunities to “represent Him Well”, To be Light! To Shine!
Am going to share scripture from Luke 12:1-5. I have been praying this for some time for what is happening in our government. A picture of light apposing darkness.Luke 12:1-5 He began to say to His disciples first,Be on your guard against the leaven of the Pharisees,which is hypocrisy.Therefore whatever you have said in the dark,will be heard in the light ,and what you have whispered in an ear will be proclaimed on the housetops.I say to you My friends,don’t fear those who kill the body , and after that can do nothing more. But I will show you whom to fear,fear Him Who has authority to throw people into hell after death. Yes I say ,this is the One to fear…
Want to share these verses . Seems they relate to this light we are to shine. Been praying this for quite a while. Father, you have given us reason to shine through Jesus. May we let your light shine through us and so color our world.
Amen. Divine timing. Lord Jesus, thank You for letting us know we’re to let our little lights shine, be the salt of the earth. Now, in this dark time, there’s no better time. While the grim reaper sweeps his scythe across the globe, help us to stand unscathed, like fresh green grass growing out of the snow. We commit, here and now to die to ourselves daily, so You can shine through us divinely. Have Your way oh Lord, Your will be done, on earth as it is, in heaven.

Something very very startling happened late yesterday afternoon and a lot more is coming very quickly! Stay alert and pray.
Immediately following Trump’s signing the Stimulus bill Steven Mnuchin, Secretary of the Treasury, under Trump’s direction filed foreclosures against The Fed, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Chase and other giants.The Fed is now no longer a giant independent bank but now a subdivision of the US Treasury and the Fed will be disposed.
We are returning to the gold standard, that Nixon terminated in his term. Our founding fathers didn’t permit a bank as the Fed to be created in the Constitution. This will be a very good thing, and has been in the works since Trump entered office.
The Fed’s bankruptcy is caused by the Fed having to fund the 2.2 T bill from their years of huge profits. Therefore, the American tax payer is not footing this bill, strangely enough. Loyal conservatives and Republicans were upset today that Trump appeared to crater to the Dems in all the non-sense pork in the bill, while Trump was over heard saying earlier today, “come on House just approve the Bill”, like he didn’t care. But he planned it from the get go.
There is expected to be some big fallout but Trump has accounted for the fallout.
A lot of thought to be famous people, but very “evil”, are in the process of going down very hard. The DOJ under Barr’s leadership (pray earnestly for Barr and our troops in this staggering event) has 154,000 indictments ready to roll-out. Some have already started.
Be in a constant state of prayer for His protection, guidance and wisdom for Trump, loyal advisers, our military, our nation (to a swift reboot), the Saints and our families.
2 Chronicles 7:14-16 KJV, 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. 16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
