In the latest manifestation of tensions between party leadership and the GOP’s conservative base, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel issued a statement celebrating LGBT “pride” month Wednesday.
“Happy Pride Month!” McDaniel wrote. “[The Republican Party] is proud to have doubled our LGBTQ support over the last 4 years, and we will continue to grow our big tent by supporting measures that promote fairness and balance protections for LGBTQ Americans and those with deeply held religious beliefs.”
McDaniel’s tweet won the approval of homosexual GOP group Log Cabin Republicans, but many conservatives had the opposite reaction. At the same time, most of the liberal respondents made clear they would never accept the GOP as LGBT-friendly unless and until Republicans fully abandon their opposition to same-sex “marriage” and support for conscience rights and women’s athletics.
The incident brings to the foreground long-simmering divisions between the Republican Party’s national leaders and the grassroots voters that sustain it, as well as conservatives versus more libertarian members who prioritize the “big tent” mentality over taking a stand on social issues.
Florida Republican Governor and potential presidential candidate Ron DeSantis rebuked arguments for compromising on cultural battles in an interview with The Federalist published Wednesday. “You can have a successful economy, but if the underpinnings of the culture are being torn apart, I don’t think that’s a society that will be very successful over the long term,” he said.
“I don’t think there’s ever been as many hostile cultural forces, whether it’s corporate media, universities, big tech, now big business,” DeSantis argued. “If you’re an American who believes in the core values of this country — faith, family, opportunity — you are absolutely on the defensive in many respects, so the question is, how do you fight back effectively.”
He also argued that the establishmentarian approach was politically foolish in addition to being wrong on principle. “If you lead and particularly if you’re willing to take some arrows along the way, there are voters that will do whatever they can to make sure they have your back,” DeSantis noted. . . .
The niece of 2012 GOP presidential nominee and current establishment-affiliated Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, McDaniel was selected by former President Donald Trump in December 2016 to take over as head of the RNC. Trump, whose own record is mixed on LGBT issues, reaffirmed his support of McDaniel for another term last November.

The Bible clearly states in Romans chapter 1:21-27, that men having sex with men and women having sex with women is unnatural and actually represents a turning away from God and worshipping the creature more than the Creator, the refusal of retaining God in our consciences.
It says in Hebrews 9:14 that the blood of Christ will “purge our consciences from dead works to serve the living God.”
The Word of God clearly states that to hear the Word of God and to do what Jesus says is to actually build our house on the rock, and the winds and floods shall not destroy it. To hear the Word of God and to not obey it is to build our house on sand, when the winds and floods come it will surely fall.
We have every right to stand up for the Word of God, to speak it forth and to act upon it. People do not light a candle and put it under a bushel but put it on its STAND and it will give light to the whole house. Matthew 5:14
In Proverbs 14:34 it says “ Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people,”
Let us stand firm on the Rock of Jesus and pray for the LGBT people to be drawn to Jesus and have their consciences cleansed and experience victory through His blood and the work of the cross.
My aunt practiced a gay lifestyle for 10 years, but she gave it up for Jesus; she went on to heaven to be with Him. We can change!

For 2 days, I have prayed and sought the will of the Lord
in regard to this matter. Basically coming to the conclusion
that I had too many thoughts and feelings about it that were
my own thoughts and feelings, which left me with the assurance
that I had to wait on the Lord and pray a lot about what to

LORD God, Creator of the universe and all that is therein, I repent on behalf of those that defy Your word. You created mankind male and female in Your image. You created every embryo with a glorious destiny. I repent for the killing in the of Your precious creations. Their blood cries out to You for justice.
Father, full of mercy and loving kindness, even Your judgment is redemptive. Thank You for giving us time to repent and overturn unrighteousness in the USA. You are long-suffering and You have given many warnings to us that no one should perish in their sin by accepting Jesus Christ and turning back to Your ways.

My specific prayer is for God’s people to recognize that “He” is our Savior and Protector. We are experiencing a famine of God’s word, and in many ways, we’re trying to save ourselves. We pray for results instead of seeking relationship withour Creator. We need to seek out His living word for guidance, and quit acquiescing to the ways and language of this world. When we do that, the open doors to Satan will be shut and righteousness will reign. Why do we even use terminology such as LGBbla bla bla? What does scripture call it? Sexual immorality, debauchery, unnatural? What about “same sex marriage?” There is no such terminology. Marriage is marriage. Unnatural relationships are not marriages. They’re sin. Here’s a quote from Hillsdale’s Imprimis by Mark Steyn:

I pray again, Father that we will hunger for the truth of Your word, and take back the language.
Without vision (righteousness that comes by adhering to Your word) people cast off restraint.
Forgive us, the church and our country for casting off restraint. May Your Holy Spirit draw our hearts back to a love and desire for Your holy word, in the name of Jesus.
RNC supporting LGBQT is another sad day. I will never support RNC. I will vote for godly men and women who run for offices but the RNC with this support in their identification, I am gone from them. They have moved from conservative to very liberal and that is sad. Whatever happened to the Tea Party who stood for biblical standards. We need to bring it back and have conservative Christian candidates run in the Tea Party.
My prayer is that God will intervene in some sovereign way to restore our country and take it out of the hands of the liberals and anarchists. Also that He will raise up more people who can rake the lead in putting a stop to the liberalists and their evil agendas. We need You more than ever, Lord, to help us restore our country.
Just know I for one, am never going to contribute to the RNC again until the Republicans Wake up and stop compromising. We need to help the pitiful people caught up in the LGBTQ (?) community, not condone their lifestyle. Read Romans 1:18-32 Shame on Trump putting Romney’s niece in the RNC chair. And NO, most of the Republicans are NOT happy about your tweet “Happy Pride Month.”
I will send my finances and support to the candidates who have godly values and a godly agenda! I have believed, for some time, that Mitt Romney’s relative, Ronna Romney McDaniel, is NOT the person to lead the Republican Party! She is NOT a representative of most of the Republicans and our values, morals and biblical beliefs. Let us get in touch with our Congress people and let them know how we feel! We CAN’T be the silent majority anymore!! She needs to be removed! We HAVE Republicans like DeSantis, who will stand for godly values, as well as others! The Republican Party is a party of men and women. We are to put our faith in Jesus Christ, not humans. We must do our best through prayer and serving our Lord, and not be caught up in the evil of the world. If you identify as anything, identify as Christians. The RNC chair, no matter who appointed him or her is of no consequence if they do not serve the Lord. Pray for them, though, because we do not know who the Lord has called as His own. They may be able to repent and join our Christian family.
How dispictable, why arent they fighting for the babies that are being murdered everyday through abortion..why not support the Christians & the churches. I am certainly not a Democrat, but this is why I no longer support the Republican party as a whole. I believe in what the Bible says about marriage and do not condone the LGBTQ propaganda. I support specific Republicans that uphold basic Christian tenets, but will not give to the Republican party in general due to the liberal beliefs of people like RNC Chairwomen Ronna Romney McDaniel.
Small stepping stones lead to platforms. Then the stepping stones disappear. Then new stepping stone are put down leading to deeper platforms, and on it goes. We are slowing stepping forward into complete sexual immorality. The stepping stones keep disappearing as the new platforms appear. We are now entering into the stepping stones of child abuse.
Our God-given sexual morality is one of the central truths to humanity from our very creation. As we continue to deny God and common sense, we will continue to deny reality. I am very sorry to read that Ronna McDaniels is wishing the LGBTQ community the best in their agenda. As a Christian, I also cannot support her acceptance of the LGBTQ organization. I accept the individual’s right to join the GOP, but I cannot support a group whose agenda is to glorify what is clearly contrary to the Word of God! Does God love gays? Of course He does! Does He agree with their beliefs? He speaks against it. How could He agree? I am also very sorry to read that these GOP members are now leaving the party because it is getting weak-kneed in some areas! We need people with Christian values to stay in and FIGHT against anti-Christ agendas! This is not the time to turn tail and run! Stay in the fight and vote in our values! PRAY God’s will. The GOP has usually stood firm in Christian values! Don’t cave and abandon us when we most need you! How many Christians left the church in the early days because apostacy came into the church? If our party can be divided, then guess who wins!!
Unfortunately, this is why I left the Republican party. Funny, I just prayed if God wanted me in that party again. I had my registration all made out and I prayed before mailing. And this pops up. God is so faithful. He reminded me why I left that party. It was weak in fighting the tyranny and riots and being flooded with the ungodly. Ephesians 5:11 says having nothing to do with the deeds of darkness but rather expose them. As a follower of Christ I personally can’t do certain things if my conscience that is led by the Spirit of God says “NO”. I’m not saying its a sin for you to be in that party. Are you stating that one should support the Democratic Platform, which has in its by laws all the very things that go against our Biblical beliefs.This would put us in a default position were one would not vote. the enemies of God’s people are many, but our eyes are on You, Lord. No. I do not. I left the Democratic party in the late 80’s approximately after I became a Christian. I could not line up with their ideology, back then, as well as now. Even more now. I do see the Republican party is the opposition party and I was one for many many years. I have seen them compromise on so many issues and believe that, unless conservatives take back that party, that party will go into the secular mindset as well. It’s already doing that. Bevelyn Beaty for example, who was a staunch Republican black woman, supporter of Trump, went to a republican convention. She said it was filled with ungodliness and debauchery and was considering leaving it as well. I’m a registered independent now but yes, I vote Republican. I will as long as they stay true to the constitution and prolife. But I’m sensing they are compromising. Not the individuals, the party itself. Personally, I believe Christ is coming. In 1963 the communists agenda reported was many evil things for America and most have come true. This is a comment. Personally I have always had my doubts about Mc Daniels. Before she was the GOP National Chair she was the Michigan GOP chair where I live. Her grandfather George Romney at one time had been a Republican governor in Michigan. She was the chair during the 2018 elections for my state. In 2018 the Michigan GOP really lost out. Republicans had held the Attorney General Office from 2003-2019. In the elections of 2018 that office went democrat. Even worse from 1995 to 2019 we had Republican Secretary’s of State. Very important Secretary of State oversee elections. We had keep that seat Republican for twenty-four years and lost it in 2018. I have been a Republican local precinct delegate for decades. I have been to numerous Republican events, conventions and meeting. We always start with the pledge of allegiance. At every state convention I have ever been to we have always had a color guard bring the flag out and we were lead in the pledge. At the Michigan State convention 2018 when a women was introduced to lead us in the pledge before thousands of people. There was no flag. She got up before the mike and said where is the flag. Reporters were all over the place within minutes it was on youtube. At a time when Trump was president saying make American great again Michigan GOP had no flag to pledge to. When Mc Daniels was chair thousands of GOP delegates waited until a flag was found. Also in 2020 while National GOP chair what happened. We lost Trump and many other Republicans.
I am saddened by your report, but not surprised by it. I was disappointed by disorganization at a recent local GOP mtg, which was my first. Our hope is in the Lord, not in organization.
Just this morning my husband was discouraged about something and asked me this question. When do you put your concerns on the Lord or just say what ever? This was my answer. Even though this may not be in the Bible this is my personal rule for this. The line from the Serenity Prayers says except the the things I can not change and the wisdom to know the difference. We are in a time politically where Christians can make a difference. I have been involved in politics along time. Hope in the Lord and stay involved. You are better off at a GOP meeting praying to yourself in the Spirit than not going. In the area I live in it is much more Republican than it used to be. I was critical of Mc Daniels I just do not think she is much of a leader. Her Grandfather George Romney was well liked and a good governor. We have had some very good Michigan State Republican Chairs. I think we have a good one right now. Stay involved you may be just the person to get on the board and put things in order.

We are living Romans 1:18 -32. Nothing surprises or shocks. He has given us up. BUT with purpose! He is causing His Eklessia to focus on one thing or I should say One Person.. Our Hope, Jesus Christ! No party, no legislation, no man, is going to lead those seeking the Father’s ❤️, presence, and asking for His wisdom If our focus is on seeking, worshipping, and loving Him, He will not deny and He will give direction. He loves His own and is building His remnant, His family, and making His Bride Beautiful. He is Faithful to do it!

It was the wrong move for the GOP Chair to endorse pride month. As a Christian, I cannot align myself with that decision. We are in great need of revival in our nation.
Dear Lord,
We ask that you stir your people to seek You and to seek after Your righteousness with all our hearts. We ask that you use us ‘for such a time as this’ to intercede for our nation, and for other nations. We ask that eyes and hearts will be opened to Your truth and that many people will turn from darkness to You and be saved. In Jesus name we ask.
The Bible, God’s Word, is to be our guide in all decisions; it is very clear regarding sexuality. We choose His Word or we rebel against it. Those of us who claim to believe and to follow Christ are accountable to God, not to a culture deceived and making man in charge. There is only One True God. Praying for the Truth to set us free,that those deceived will repent and yield their heart/life to God.
