When it was clear that the Covid-19 situation was making an enormous impact on our nation, America woke up.

JOIN THE COVID-19 PRAYER WALL–IT’S A GREAT WAY TO SHOW YOU CARE AND OFFER ENCOURAGEMENT TO OTHERS.

This is the America we now are seeing:

Reports are that the truckers are driving longer, getting supplies to the stores. People are stocking the shelves all night and letting the elderly shop first.

Carnival Cruise line told Trump ‘We can match those big Navy Hospital ships with some fully staffed cruise ships.’

GM said we can make those ventilators where we were making cars–starting next week.

Women and children are making homemade masks and handing out snacks to truckers.

Restaurants and schools said, ‘We’ve got kitchens and staff; we can feed kids.’

Churches are holding on-line services and taking care of their members and community.

NBA basketball players said, ‘We may not be playing but we can write checks to pay the arena staff.’

Construction companies said, ‘Here are some masks for the medical staff and doctors.’

Breweries and distilleries are making sanitizer out of the left-over ingredients.

Americans are trying to keep local restaurants open by ordering take-out.

You’ve got two Democrat Governors getting told ‘We will make it happen’ by a Republican President who has fought with them for three and a half years.

What is encouraging in these unprecedented times is everyday Americans saying ‘Hey, we can help—watch this.’

(What we don’t hear about right now is also as encouraging–no overwhelming coverage of gender identity issues or transgender story hour. No lawsuits about religious freedom, or protests about border patrol doing their jobs.)

What does all this tell us?  When Americans solve their own problems, create their own solutions, manage their own situations, we are quicker, more efficient, and it is uplifting. “We did it” or “God helped us” is a far more empowering message than “the government provided.”

In general, when we expect the government to manage our lives, provide for our needs, and solve our problems and mandate behavior, we get sluggish, massive, overreaching results–just look at the attempts to add trillions of pork into the current Covid-19 bailout bill before Congress. The bill, which was supposed to be drafted quickly to aid Americans who were losing paychecks, was like a rolling stone that quickly gathered pork and special interest funding, including funding abortions, diversity training, and more unrelated items.

A great object lesson on the benefits of capitalism vs. big government provision–especially in times of need.  Thank God for the men, women, and businesses in our nation who stepped up to be our own solution! If you know of other great acts of help and provision by everyday Americans and businesses, share it below!

America is great NOT because our stock is high or our unemployment is low. We Are a Great nation because we serve a great God. And he helps us to be like Jesus who came to earth to give His all for us. It’s during these times of emergency that God’s people roll up our sleeves and do whatever we can to help. We do this because we know that after we have done all that we can … God will do the rest.
I am sure that even now God is making a way where there seems to be no way. He is in control and He has a plan. Just trust Him and you will see what our mighty big God can do.
Be blessed and do not fear.

In God we trust and even when we are shut up in our homes behind closed doors safe and sound God has a purpose and a plan for us while he deals with the enemy who is out to rob, steal, and destroy. Thank you Lord that You are our provider, our protector and our provision. Yah God! God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.

People.

People can be so cruel. So evil. Such jerks

But then there’s times, like this

And God smiles; like a parent when their kids stop squabbling and start hugging.

You are People. Amazing. Wonderful. Loving. Awesome. People.

Do you realize you’re part of the most amazing of all creations?

You’re part of what God looked at and said it was, not just good, but VERY good.

People.

You’re what God saw and said, I love them so much I’ll send My only Son to save them.

People, are built into the solution for every problem.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

God is healing our land, our hearts, our world…and He’s using you, dear YOU-nique, wonderfully made, people to do it.

Some sweet day, we will see, that God, whose specialty is bringing life from death, will have used (not caused, but used) something as ugly as coronavirus to wake a sleeping people to hope, healing, life and the eternal words…well done.

Thank you Father for opening our eyes to see and know and share Your great great love.

Hi , The church I go to are making masks foe health care workers, which my daughter is one of them for the elderly, also putting groceries together for people, helping in any way they can for children also. I go to crossfit every week and not able to go they are putting the classes on zoom, which is really amazing for them to do that. I work at a universiy which is closed and they are giving away free food and prepared meals for the employees. Praise God

As a over 65 person I just pray a song that is truly a prayer that we actually sang at school when I was a child.
God bless America
Land that I love
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with the Light from above
From the mountains to the prairies to the oceans white with foam
God bless America
My home sweet home
God bless America
My home sweet home

In the name of my Savior Jesus Christ Amen

Lord God, may we again be a proud nation that works and walks under the motto “In God we Trust”. May it be all to You glory, may this be a time of reset, of Jubilee, would you remove all the pillars of evil in media, ‘entertainment’, school curriculum, local, state and federal govt. For nothing shall remain hidden. Father we pray that You would place men and women in position that would not cow tail to deception and influence of SJW, and we pray for those in the pulpit to return to preaching Your Word as it is written, not adding or taking away to form a comfortable positive message to a dieing church. Awaken Your sheep, that we may arise to serve You alone in the name of Jesus. Amen

I loved your prayer, however, I would replace the word “proud” with committed.

Thank you Lord for the blessings recorded in this article. Thank you Lord for the unity
that I believe you are raising in this nation, which is an answer to my prayers. May the love of Christ for those in need be on FULL display for all the world to see. May Christ alone receive all honor and glory as the acts of Christian love fills every need.

Father-
The influence of your Word is still felt in the response of this nation. Thank you for people pulling together to respond to this crisis. Help your people to be ministers of grace and mercy to everyone around us. Help us to be centered on you and to live out of that hope and trust. Please encourage those who are having to go the extra mile in the hospitals, EMS services, grocery stores and truckers. I ask that they would see you at work on their behalf. Keep us from a spirit of despair or bitterness. rather may we have hearts that trust you and look to you for answers. Help us to find creative solutions for the needs at hand.

Lord God our Father Jesus Christ, we pray for revival nationwide and worldwide. There will be more individuals who will accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Lives will change and there will be a total transformation for America. That this will be a turning point of repentance and asking for forgiveness of Sins. That Lord, this will be the beginning of Revival that your Name will be proclaim throughout all the corners of the earth. For your Name be Praise. This I pray in the Name of JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, Amen

Lord Jesus, we ask for your grace and protection over all of these people who are stepping up to help others. Look upon them and their family members with your favor as a literal and physical shield, hemming them in behind and before, protecting them from any disease, virus or illness that would come up against them in the name of Jesus!
