DEM LEADER: “GOD’S WILL IS OF NO CONCERN TO THIS CONGRESS”

Father, we want to be a people that is known for our righteousness and holiness. Help us to say "NO" to this Equality Act and to take a stand for the truth in Your Word.

Democratic Rep. Jerry Nadler of New York chastised one of his colleagues for mentioning God and the Bible during the House debate over the Equality Act Thursday, saying: “God’s will is no concern of this Congress.”

Rep. Greg Stuebe, R-Fla., said in his remarks on the House floor that the Equality Act is in opposition to Scripture.

“The gender confusion that exists in our culture today is a clear rejection of God’s good design. Whenever a nation’s laws no longer reflect the standards of God, that nation is in rebellion against Him and will inevitably bear the consequences,” Stuebe said.  . . .

The Equality Act passed in the House by a vote of 224-206 with only three Republicans — Reps. Tom Reed and John Katko, both of New York, and Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania — joining Democrats in voting for the measure.  . . .

The bill is an update of the 1964 Civil Rights Act that is considered by many to be the legislative legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“It’s not clothing or personal style that offends God, but rather, the use of one’s appearance to act out or take on a sexual identity different from the one biologically assigned by God at birth,” the Florida congressman added in his speech Thursday.

Steube previously introduced legislation to protect women’s sports and amendments to similar legislation that was being considered by the House, but all were voted down by Democrats. . ..

The 500-plus page Equality Act adds gender identity as a protected category in nondiscrimination law. That term, which is frequently used by media and transgender activists, refers to an “internal sense” of one’s gender.

Opposition to the bill has manifested from across the political spectrum. . . .

Enshrining the concept into federal law would destroy women’s sports and other sex-segregated spaces such as shelters for women escaping domestic violence, rape crisis centers, and any other entity that receives federal dollars, opponents have warned.

The Equality Act also forbids use of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), a 1993 law that was passed on an overwhelmingly bipartisan basis and signed into law by former President Bill Clinton to provide religious exemptions.  . . .

According to the Coalition for Jewish Values, a group of approximately 1,500 traditional Orthodox rabbis, the New York congressman has “forgotten the Constitution.” . . .

“It is especially true that Congress must remain cognizant of the set of foundational moral principles — including valuing peace, human life, and individual liberty and responsibility — that America calls Judeo-Christian ethics.”

CJV Vice President Rabbi Yoel Schonfeld added that Nadler had “unmasked” the true nature of the proposed law.

“Far from valuing diverse opinions and beliefs, it tramples free exercise of religion and even demonizes free speech. Reading the Bible in public, per the Equality Act, could be called an exercise in bigotry and grounds for a ‘discrimination’ complaint. Without question, the true bigots here are those who support deliberate attacks upon the cherished beliefs of others,” Schonfeld said. . . .

  1. Lord I seek Your help over this bill. Lord stir up conviction of the following sins especially in Your Church. Hardness of heart, deafness of hearing, apathy, indifference, tolerated sin, half heartedness, complacency, Idols, pride, selfishness, world ones, materialism and any others Lord. Lord have mercy, compassion and bind the enemy strongholds over this Country. In Jesus precious name. Amen

    Amen! 6
  2. Praying for both men.
Thanking God for Legislature Greg Steube and the courage he demonstrated in the House. Protect he and his family Lord.
As for Jerry Nadler, not good what he spoke for sure. May he repent of the words he spoke to You Lord and to the House. Not wise.
He placed himself on very shaking ground. He needs Your salvation Jesus. Help him to come to his senses before it’s too late.

Jesus, multiple those that fear You in our Government, to have the backbone to speak out, but remove from our Government those that are puppets of the devil.

I am one that is fervently praying for my country, its leaders, and those in organizations, such as IFA.
So grateful for those joining in prayer. We are an “army” of pray-ers.
To God be the Glory. Great things is has done, and is
doing. What a mighty God we serve!!
Thank You Jesus for being the Glory and the lifter of our heads. We desperately need You!!!
    In Christ’s Incredible Love.
    Amen

    Amen! 11
  3. Father, I ask You to move upon the hearts of each Senator, regardless of their political party, and open their eyes to the truth. Show those who have female childen or grandchildren how this bill will devalue the females & how it exposes them to perverts.
Convict the hearts of those who want to encroach upon our religious freedoms.
Move on the hearts of each Senator, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel of Christ Jesus. Lord, I ask that You stop this evil agenda in Jesus name.

    Amen! 18
  4. Dear Heavenly Father. I praise you and thank you Lord that Rep Greg Steube stood up for his values, but most importantly for You. I pray that the persecution used by Jerry Nader and others against Biblical values and Christianity in OUR nation, would be used for Your GLORY and your SALVATION Lord in this Congress and everywhere else where the Word of God is attempting to be squashed. Behold He Comes, riding on the clouds, shining like the sun as the trumpets call…..lift your Voice to the year of Jubilee, out of Zion’s Hill SALVATION COMES! AMEN.

    Amen! 20
  5. Thank You Lord for the very strong words spoken and the very strong stance that Rep Greg Steube took the other day.

I ask You will send Your angel armies to protect him and his family from any aggressive retaliation and I ask that You will raise up more of Your people in these positions of power and ability to speak out on behalf of Your people, Your written word bringing Your truth.

I pray for conviction on Jerry Nadler and repentance for the words he used against You to decry all that You are and Your Godly Kingship over America and the world.

    Amen! 29
  6. Father, Rep. Greg Stuebe spoke for righteousness and truth as he opposed this wicked bill. He spoke out knowing many would laugh or rebuke his words. I simply ask that You bless him, bless his family, give him favor, and a hedge of protection as he honors You Father God. I pray in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen

Proverbs 29:23 “A man’s pride will bring him low, but a humble spirit will obtain honor.”

    Amen! 24
  7. Father, when I read this article, You brought to mind the moment King Nebuchadnezzar loudly proclaimed, “Is this not Babylon the Great, which I myself have built by the might of my power as a royal residence and for the glory of my majesty?” No one will usurp Your power and authority, YOU ARE ITS AUTHOR, God Almighty. I pray Mr. Nadler will know in a most personal way, that he does not speak for YOU. I pray You will show him just how wrong he was in loudly proclaiming, “God’s will is no concern of this Congress.” I shuddered reading that lie Father. You are concerned with even the sparrows… “not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without You knowing it.” Your Word states, “it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Let Mr. Nadler be in Your Grip Father. I pray only in the Power and Authority of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray led by the Holy Spirit. I pray for Your Glory and my good. Amen

    Daniel 4
    Proverbs 29:23
    Matthew 10:29
    Hebrews 10:31

    Amen! 20
  8. Father I pray that you would bring clarity to the hearts and minds of those that are “gender confused”, Your Word says that the heart of man is desperately wicked, only You can turn hearts of stone to flesh. It is not Your Will that any should perish, so Father I stand in the gap for those who are deceived and blinded by the enemy of our souls. Father I also pray for the minds of the puppets in office who bend the knee to this wicked agenda that is not about equality, Father You created ALL OF US EQUAL, and Your standard is written in our constitution, this legislation is about cutting You out of our picture. Please open the eyes of those who have been placed in “the people’s house” to represent “the people” to see that this legislation will change EVERYTHING our constitution stands for, our children’s minds are being manipulated and steered into wickedness, the family covering You have placed as protection will be dissolved, Your houses of worship desecrated and ultimately closed. This is the end time Spiritual battle that you have called Your children to fight, Lord not by power or by might but by and through Your Spirit. I pray for boldness in Your church that You would wake her up, and she would stand in repentance with clean hands and a heart sold out for You Father, May we rise TOGETHER and pray Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. You said that authority has been given to us over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means harm us, that whatever I bind on earth will be bound in Heaven so I stand on the authority of Your word and I bind the Spirit of deception in Jesus Name and I claim this country for Your glory. In Jesus name

    Amen! 24
  9. Dear Heavenly Father, please bless Rep. Greg Stuebe for having the moral courage to speak in Your name in the halls of Congress. Bless him and all other legislators that stand on Your side of the line in the conflict that is consuming our nation. Dear Lord, please do not let the arrogant words and attitudes of Jerry Nadler and others of his ilk come to represent the position of all America. Lord, please, let all good men and women of good conscience speak out and pray against the flood of wickedness we are being inundated with. The attacks of the wicked and their shadowy masters are coming fast and furious, and it seems there is no front on which they do not attack. Lord, please lead us and help us weather this storm, and guide us through to a brighter tomorrow. Please Lord, let us miss no opportunity to fight back in whatever way You choose for us, and let us serve you in pushing back against this evil. Lord, may people like Jerry Nadler realize the folly of their words and repent if possible. If not, then please free us from their wicked influence. Lord let us not grow weary of the fight and roll over, for that is what the enemy wants, and there is no doubt that if we do stop fighting, they will unleash even greater atrocities than those already witnessed. Lord let us help You open the eyes of our fellow Americans, and let a revival of righteousness spread across the land. In Jesus precious name I pray O’ Lord, Amen.

    Amen! 26
  10. “For the Lord is our judge; the Lord is our lawgiver; the Lord is our king; he will save us.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭33:22‬ ‭ESV‬‬
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9:6‬ ‭ESV‬‬
Lord, we stand on Your Word and declare that You govern this nation.
You have given us authority according to the Word. We bind, destroy and dismantle every evil force and scheme that sets itself up against Your truths, righteousness and justice. In the mighty name of Jesus. Proclaiming, The Heavens are open over DC and Holy Spirit is on the move. No weapon formed against us will prosper.

    Amen! 28
