“Spirit of evil foreboding.”
Those were the words I heard one morning in prayer. So I turned my ear to the Lord for further insight.
“The spirit of evil foreboding is invading the atmosphere of this nation and will dominate if not dealt with,” He continued.
Evil foreboding is defined as the feeling of impending evil, disaster or misfortune.
Discord in our nation was present. However, I couldn’t imagine what was to come in the following days as the number of positive testings for the Coronavirus increased slightly. However, panic increased drastically as grocery store shelves were emptied. It was mind-boggling.
The world was in chaos as fear accomplished far more than the virus.
Evil forebodings had infiltrated our nation with a vengeance. Even worse, people were feeding on it hourly as they sat glued to the chaos-creating media.
What happened to common sense?
That’s the thing with evil foreboding, it makes no sense. There’s no reason for the madness. This evil spirit speaks and creates panic about impending doom, that will likely never happen.
It engulfs imaginations, as it brings mass chaos. Almost overnight people became fixated on themselves completely and selfishly unconcerned for the welfare of their neighbor.
While many may not recognize this as a spiritual attack, I can assure you, it is. There is a spirit of evil foreboding in our nation and we need to take authority over it and remove it from our land, immediately. The goal of this spirit is to:
- make fear your guiding voice
- steal your joy
- remove your ability to live in joy and peace
- prevent you from seeing a good future for you and your family.
Sound familiar?
As the people of God, we have the authority to restore peace to this nation and its people.
Jesus said in John 14:27; Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
We have the power and authority through Jesus to walk in peace, regardless of the circumstances around us. We are in this world, not of it. Next, we need to restore peace and order, by first removing the spirit of evil forebodings as we take our authority in Christ.
Let us agree in prayer, so that we establish peace and order back to our nation.
Father, in the name of Jesus we take authority over the spirit of evil forebodings. Leave our nation now! Go back to where you came from. We forbid you to remain – leave and take fear with you. Father, we release an atmosphere of peace across this nation. We release faith across this nation. May the atmosphere that fear has dominated suddenly be infiltrated with peace, love and joy. May the perfect love of God saturate this nation, driving out all fear, in Jesus name. Amen.

Lord God Almighty, you knew this was coming even before it was created. And we, your faithful sons and daughters are prepared to do battle as we sing Praise to You forever and ever. We WILL NOT FEAR for thy rod guides us by the still waters of Your Holy Spirit.
Than you Father that you have taught through your word, Proverbs 18:21, that our tongues, our SPOKEN WORDS have the power of life and death and all who use it WILL SEE the results of it being spoken Your people have taught us the truth, that the virus is not alive but is up of enzymes and chemicals that attach to our cells and steal its steal it’s energy. So we intercessors say covid19, I command for you to disintegrate and reassemble into vitamins that each and ever body needs to be healed completely, in Jesus name.
Father, We thank you for the testimony of your children in Egypt who were never touched by the plagues or pestilence placed on Egypt. So what You did in HisStory you will do again for your faithful children. You have no favorites, what You have done for one you can and will do for your righteous children who know you.
Jesus we ask you to send your angel armies to place a hedge of protection around each and every faithful person and household, and give them your PEACE!
Father, we ask all of this is your precious son’s name, Jesus the Christ, Amen
Lord I repent of my own spirit of “Great Tribulation” foreboding and the fear of infection. I take authority over my Son’s heavy spirit of foreboding that has left me ashamed to even leaving my house at all. I chose to walk in faith while refraining from being foolish by spreading infections. In the name of Jesus.
Addendum
As I prayed the above prayer, something came to my mind; central Ohio has been getting quite a bit of rain the last 24 hours + and we received a little less than 3 ” in approximately 6 hours. Then it started to rain harder. It finally passed and it seemed, almost suddenly, the rain stopped and the sun suddenly came out, shining very brightly.
I remembered that about 2 decades ago the Lord brought 2 words to me: “and suddenly” often repeating them frequently. These words have been in my mind since then and now again —–and suddenly, and suddenly…………
He will move, and suddenly…….
I add my hardiest amen to this prayer. This is a spiritual battle and will be won with spiritual weapons. May God’s people gear up and learn how to engage as those who are clothed in the armor of light and equipped with divinely powerful weapons. May we purify ourselves–repent of every “pet sin” and area of delayed and compromised obedience–and dressed in that readiness…go to war with the Captain of our Salvation leading the charge!
The Lord has been saying to me, “Trust Me”
And as I do, I have peace, knowing that “He’s got this”
His love, His mercy and His grace is awesome and amazing !!!

A good word and so true. I have been noticing this in me at night so I have been concentrating on spiritual songs and praise. Father, help your people to be ministers of peace and turn the Media into Messengers of peace.

[10] “Six years you shall sow your land and gather in its produce, [11] but the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, that the poor of your people may eat; and what they leave, the beasts of the field may eat. In like manner you shall do with your vineyard and your olive grove. [12] Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest, that your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your female servant and the stranger may be refreshed.
Lord, let us use this time to love one another and show to the world the gift of your son Jesus. As the Lord commanded us to rest on the Sabbath, help us to show others how this rest will renew and refresh our lives. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen
