Later in the Twitter thread, Cheong pointed out that the violent and chaotic nature of these protestors has no correlation with “protesting against police brutality.”
“I don’t know what burning the Bible has to do with protesting against police brutality. Do not be under the illusion that these protests and riots are anything but an attempt to dismantle all of Western Civilization and upend centuries of tradition and freedom of religion,” he continued.
But many Christians are still under that very illusion. I believe that the patience of heaven is wearing thin toward American Christians who are still on the fence.

We have nothing to fear but complacency, tolerance, and apathy—the cancers the modern church is prone to. Fear of being called a racist is right behind this unholy trio as the sickness of our generation of believers.
Heaven is not surprised by any of these threats. Hell has created a weapon of mass damnation and it is in full vigor before our eyes. But again, heaven is not passive. God saw this coming and forged a weapon for this specific evil. He yearns for someone to rise up in the Name of Jesus, take up that specific weapon and thrust it into the very heart of darkness. Let it be you!

Kristallnacht was the very spark

Black Lives Matter and Antifa have now shown their TRUE COLORS. All people of any decency should no longer support them and WON’T when they know what they truly stand for. What a shame that have misrepresented the name of their organization and tarnished the cause of racial equality.

I am not sure I believe that things are being done because there a true support for THE LIVES OF BLACK PEOPLE. I don’t put too much pass groups using the term BLM as a smoke screen to cover another agenda. Racism is the worst I have personally experienced in my 61 years, especially since 2016. Now all of a sudden the majority race in this country is coming to our defense? I don’t buy it! As far as burning bibles, this Nation is far from living by it anyway. I am not implying it’s okay to burn them. But now a segment wants to get righteous when 80% of you support the most racist leader of the free World? Hypocrisy to me.

Many times in history Bibles have been burned. In 1866 a missionary from Wales named Robert Thomas threw Bibles from a burning ship to Koreans. Later the Korean burned them and Robert Thomas was martyred. It appeared his efforts were in all in vain. However God saw to to it that one Bible was spared and used as a wall covering inside a building that preached to many Koreans. Over 10,000 North Koreans were converted. Isaiah 55:10-11
I pray that God will use this Bible burning to remind American Christians how powerful and precious their Bibles really are.
I recently went to the dollar store and bought one for each of my neighbors, wrote a small note of encouragement/ love and a small $5.00-10.00(one bag had a mask,another bag had shower gel, sanitizer, chips n dip, box of cookies) Each bag had one gift per person. I pray for them too and they know me. It doesn’t take much to share what we have or can give. In Christ, we must.
As were so many of you, I was abhorred to learn of the Bible-burning in Portland. My background is Christian publishing (as a ghostwriter of many books and in-house editor at a leading Christian publishing house), I cannot tell you the number of times while at work on some manuscript with an urgent deadline it would hit me that we who love God had better “work . . .while it is day; the night cometh, when no man can work” (John 9:4). From time to time, I would even think how bleak the world would be if there were no teaching or inspiring books to read, or worse–God forbid–no Bibles. Fast forward. . .And here we are. From the perspective of that background, when I took the Portland matter to prayer yesterday (trust me when I tell you that I wanted to ask the Lord to “let ’em have it!), I found my prayer instead turning to petitioning the Lord to bring back those among the rioters who were raised in Christian homes by praying parents and grandparents to the foundations of their faith. There must be one or two! I found myself asking, “Lord, convict them by the power of the Holy Spirit that destroying Bibles is an open affront to You! It is their hateful, ungodly attempt to ‘cancel’ You–which will never be! Overwhelm them by the fear of God so that they will thrust down their megaphones of mayhem and pick up a megaphone for You! Use these “prodigals,” Lord, to turn others within their own ranks to Christ–no matter how impossible this may seem–and use these terrible acts for good. Overtake them from within their own ranks and use their own tactics against them, but for Your Glory!” By the way, kudos to IFA–without you, we would not be hearing about this because it is certainly not being reported on the nightly “fake” news. Blessings to you!
Look closely, there is not one black person present in the burning of the Bibles. Anyone can make a sign saying anything. Please research it in full before you draw on conclusions.

Signing petitions. Alerting national and local pastors and taking joint church action. Reading Derek Princes booķs, Shaping history through prayer and fasting. Recognising God has given YOU the power to change the course of history.

Regarding the headline of BLM burning bibles – this is extremely inflamatory and incorrect . The riotors here in Porland are not representing BLM no matter what the signs might say. Do not confuse the riotors wirh the protestors! This is so irresponsible to report these events in this way. I am removing myself from your listserve. It is this type of inflamatory reporting that gives Christians a bad name.
Share your testimony of what Christ has done for you is one way. We must use what we have for Christ. The Lord multiplies it and increases their desire to know Him.
I support Black lives and believe they do matter. The evil that is happening here is the BLM organization is hitching on the back of people truly standing for justice. Our Blessed Mother asked us years ago to say a daily rosary (said as a family is even more powerful). This is our weapon against this evil. It’s so important, especially now. Also, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy asks God for His mercy. Let’s band together to pray these and try to fast on Wednesday and Friday. Read scripture. We are truly living in scary times! Father God, we ask that the resources of the ungodly (BLM/Antifa/Marxism/Socialism) to dry up. Just as Jesus spoke to the nonproducing fig tree and it dried up from the roots, We ask You in the name of Jesus to command their resources of money, communication, and alliances to dry up from the roots.

Here is an excerpt from Appendix C in The Journey Through Tribulation: The Catholics made a plan to create a weapon to eliminate both Jews and Christians, AN ARAB ARMY. Where are the leaders in the churches?What is the price we will put on the Word? Has everyone gone into the cave? The Word says to prove yourself! This is a time to mobilize. We are our brothers keeper! Are they looking for another Joan of Arc? Ephesians says to gird up your loins, put on the helmet of salvation and the breastplate of righteousness , the belt of truth. Its time to call the troops!
I know we should be praying about all this but isn’t there something else we should be doing as Christians? Shouldn’t we be speaking out and trying to stand up against these lawless acts? I think the Church has been silent for too long and it’s time for us to start speaking out more and standing up against all this evil or we are eventually going to lose our Country altogether!
Father, I ask for peace in my city, for in its peace is our peace (Jer 29:7). I ask You release wisdom and leadership in Washington DC, Seattle, Oakland, Atlanta, Portland, Los Angeles, Jacksonville, Chicago, Sacramento, Minneapolis, NYC, Dallas, San Francisco, Houston, Philadelphia, Miami, Baltimore, New Orleans, Jacksonville, Boston, New Orleans, Raleigh, Charlotte, Hartford, Providence, Denver, Bakersfield, Kansas City, St Louis, Detroit and the cities, states and territories around the world. We pray for the peace of our cities (Jer 29:7), all 50 states, our territories, the nation, and for the peace of Jerusalem (Ps 122:6). May our president, officials, protectors and all in authority have wisdom, strength, protection and guidance. Save them that we might live peaceful lives of dignity, which is good and acceptable in the sight of God our savior who wants all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Tim 2:1-4), in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Lord, please confuse the strategy of the demonic realm attacking Christianity. Make one lie prove another wrong until they kill each other and fall to the ground In Jesus name, Amen.
As in 2 Chronicles 17-20….3 against 1, they prayed, fasted, sent the choir first praising God. Confusion among enemy and they killed each other. Let it be again, Lord! 🙏🏻
What can we do other than pray?
Please let us make clear proposals for action. God surround us with mercy in this time that we had to live.
Nothing new under the sun. Old tricks of Satan still used. Gates of hell WILL NOT PREVAIL. BELIEVE IT! Another wake up call. Stand firm. Col.3:1…act like the verse states!
I am reminded of a portion of scripture where God tells us through Jeremiah in chapter 36. Jeremiah is known as the ‘weeping prophet’. He lamented over his country. We are told, in this chapter, of a king named Jehoiakim, who hated the Word of God as it was being read to him. What did he do? He cut the scroll into pieces and threw them into the fire. Burning God’s Word did not stop the Word. Hallelujah!!! In trying to destroy the Word of God, ultimately, it destroyed him. Verse 30 tells of his demise. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to the flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” (Galatians 6:7-8). I lament for our country. We are in terrible shape. We say ‘One Nation under God’. Why? God knows our hearts. We are not living what we speak. I thank God because He always maintains a remnant. Thank God for you. The Lord bless you and keep you.

Lord, send us forth in your name as examples of true righteousness to peacefully counter the evil taking over our holy nation today.
I too, have warned others…
particularly my Black Christian friends to “get off the fence” and take a “BOLD STANCE” against the BLM Organization. “Here I am Lord, send me” has been my battle cry. GOD’S SPIRIT showed pulled the covers off BLM, right in front of me…years ago…and it is by His SPIRIT I have been warring on the front lines against the BLM evil. I am an African American and it grieves me to see Christians blind support of such evil. Open our eyes O God in the NAME POWER and AUTHORITY of JESUS CHRIST AMEN and AMEN.

Amen Lord thank you for our brothers and sisters who speak the truth give us boldness and courage to stand in the evil day to speak the truth spread the gospel hate sin love our enemies .
Prayer is the weapon, and action to stop evil is the heart of prayer. Rise up! Rise up, Body of Christ, to confront to condeme and to cast away this present evil. Communisem,Socialism, and Islam are the “darts of satan” hurled at us continually.
PRAYING THAT THE CHURCH WILL WAKE UP, STAND UP AGAINST this evil. We have the weapons of prayer and praise to stop this. God’s mercies are new every morning.
We knew they had evil in their hearts from the moment they started showing up at these protests. Only, what was not obvious was who they were, because just about everyone had a mask on. Now they are showing their true selves behind their masks. They are children of the dark. But they can’t hide from God. He knows every one of them. Father, thank you for exposing this evil, and helping us to discern the times in which we live. We know that the more the enemy sees opportunity to advance his evil agenda, the more crushed he will be when he experiences Your wrath. May they feel powerless when they see that they are losing and the fear of You is stronger than the fear of man. Their plan to intimidate the children of the light will not work, because we have Your word living in us. Thank you Father for empowering us to fight the good fight. In the name of Jesus we pray. Christian apathy is everywhere. Like lambs led to slaughter our country and the Christian Church is on the verge of destruction. Pray for God’s mercy, repent from our sinful ways, and may our Lord’s will be done ! Amen
Gods heart aches. My heart aches. 2Tim 3 is being fulfilled. We mustn’t loose Hope. We will keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. It is to His Name that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord. Our weapons are not carnel but mighty. We seek Your face Father. Help us!!
