Reports are now showing President Biden’s approval numbers slipping as well as optimism about the where the country is heading. What does this mean and how can we pray?
From Newsbreak: As President Joe Biden completed 100 days in office, the country was optimistic about the coming year, but now, just after hitting the six-month mark , Americans’ optimism about the direction of the country has plummeted nearly 20 points, a new ABC News/Ipsos poll finds.
A majority — 55% — of the public say they are pessimistic about the direction of the country, a marked change from the roughly one-third (36%) that said the same in an ABC News/Ipsos poll published May 2. In the early May survey, Americans were more optimistic than pessimistic by a 28-percentage point margin. Optimism is now under water by 10 points. Looking ahead to the next 12 months, fewer than half — 45% — now report feeling optimistic about the way things are going, a significant drop from about two-thirds (64%) in the May poll.
The decline in optimism has occurred across the board among Democrats, Republicans and independents. Optimism is down about 20 points among Democrats and Republicans and down 26 points among independents. Among Democrats, about 7 in 10 (71%) now say they are optimistic about the direction of the country over the next 12 months. That’s much lower than the near universal (93%) approval from Democrats on Biden’s handling of the pandemic. In politics today, partisans usually are more unified in their support or opposition to particular issues or people. . . .
The overwhelming majority (88%) of Democrats approve of the president’s handling of the economic recovery, but only about half (49%) of independents do and less than 2 in 10 (16%) Republicans do.
On other issues, Biden’s approval is underwater, and lackluster even among his own party.

Although he’s still above water on the pandemic and the economy, he’s underwater on every other issue, even with Democrats, according to ABC. One of the issues which is really resonating is the border, where fewer than 4 in 10 Americans approve of Biden’s immigration approach. Disapproval of his handling of gun violence has gone up to 61%.
There’s a lot of writing on the wall here, and that has to have Democrats freaking out for 2022. That’s why we’re seeing the push to have the Jan. 6 Select Committee and Democrats resurrecting anger against Kavanaugh. Democrats are hoping to charge up the base and possibly influence independents. But that’s a pretty slim reed when the basic bread and butter issues are looking bad and staring Americans in the face. Americans are not dumb — they know where to place the fault for defunding the police and the rise in crime. If they go back to mandatory masks and lockdowns, that’s really going to sink Biden even further.

Probably a number of issues are causing the drop in Biden’s numbers; the border crisis, abortion up until birth, the mishandling of gun violence, economy, defunding of police, the rise of crime, and the list goes on. We Americans are not stupid, but that’s what the left likes to think. And frankly, they do not even care about drop in approval ratings or what people think of them, they have an agenda to carry out and implement and that’s all they care about and what matters to them.
Polls are basically targeted opinions that can be systematically rigged by the questions that are asked. MOST polls are “generous” when it comes to Biden (including the poll referenced in the article).
Honest and direct truth would reflect that ‘maybe’ 20% of America has confidence in Biden and/or his godless administration. I cannot even find 1 out of 10 devoted Dems that think he is doing well.
We continue to watch in our nation journalists, media, leaders(?), etc., who falsely prop up this man for a plethora of deceptive reasons. Americans had a no nonsense, tough & firm leader called Trump. A man who was rough around the edge but tried to honor God and be a servant of the people. And he was falsely and corruptly removed from office by illegal means. It left America with a stark contrast of what real leadership was vs. the pathetic people we see now fumbling our nation away and literally spitting in the face of Almighty God each day with their decisions.
**Rescue our nation and the people Lord. We desperately need You Lord. Turn our nation back to You. Prompt the people to honor you again. And Lord please expose and bring your justice to the corruption. Replace the ungodly with those who acknowledge, love and will honor you. Amen.
A lot is fueling the drop in approval. The most obvious is the Presidents lack of presence. He is clearly not in a full capacity of brain functioning. The un-addressed issues of the day, namely, 200 Americans in jail re the Jan 6 breach for 6 months without due process of law, without bail and some in solitary confinement!!
The DOJ stonewalling members of Congress who were not even allowed in the DOJ’s lobby on July 27th wanting answers regarding the treatment of these Americans.
Also the enormous debt we are being thrust into with the trillion dollar spending sprees. The Critical Race indoctrination of the military, universities and businesses throughout the country.
I don’t think that Biden, nor his handlers, care what we the people think of them. They have an agenda to implement, that’s all that matters.
Lord God, thank you that you are exposing those who want to destroy your people and nation. You will expose them openly and will humiliate them in the full view of the people around them.

Praise God, we need not be afraid, for the He fights for us. He is our defender!

We should not put our faith in any man or government. They are all flawed and have been since the dawn of time. Our only hope is faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. He is where our undivided focus should be. He is the only one with the power. One thing is for sure, Gods ratings are always 100%. Praise him for that!

Lord, give us eyes to see, ears to hear and hearts that TRUST IN YOU! I think the drop in “approval” ratings is a sign: that God’s judgment is falling and the harvest has begun of the bad seeds that have been sown.

I never did understand or believe polls. People would have to be asleep at the wheel to be optimistic about anything coming out of this administration. Biden’s approval rating is dropping (more) because Biden is incapable and incompetent to be President. But at the same time, his replacement is also only in different ways. I wonder what the polls would say if they were asked, “who do you believe is really running this country?”.
God alone can straighten out this mess but we have a whole lot of soul searching and repenting to do as we cry out to Him for deliverance.

There are two reasons in my way of thinking, that influence the drop in Biden’s approval ratings. One is, he is a radical left puppet. The radical agenda that he is trying so hard to force upon us is not good for our nation’s best interests. Secondly, is his cognitive impairment. How can this man effectively lead our nation? He only knows how to read off of cue cards, do as his handlers tell him to do, and has no clue what he is doing on the international stage. No one abroad has any respect for him- look at how China treated us several months ago in Alaska. Look at the feeble attempt to have a summit with Putin. NONE of this kind of would have happened on President Trump’s watch. He was too pro- American, too cognitively with it, and would not have put up with any foreign intimidation. No one would have hacked our pipeline. Gas would not be over $3.00 per gallon. He had us independent of any foreign countries for our energy. Simply put, Biden is an abject failure, which is no surprise to me. I pray daily For God’s will to be done. I pray daily for revival in our nation, and that it would start in Washington. I am a believer that God answers all prayers. Perhaps, this is how He is answering the prayers of America’s intercessors. Let Your will be done!
Brian, I appreciate your posts. Prior to the election I was telling friends about the groups supporting Biden – They are groups/people who are not in agreement with one another. The time would come when they would each vie for power within the lefts camp for their own agenda.
This is causing confusion and disagreements as this administration is juggling pay backs due.
They are definitely in disarray, Doris. The other thing is, people in our country remember how good they had it under President Trump, and how the radical leftists are trying to undo all of that. It isn’t going over so well, and I believe that a lot of Americans are not happy at all with the way that Biden was forced down our throats by a rigged election.

Julie, I agree completely with you. There truly is nothing new under the sun. It is a shame that we are being continually bombarded with evil. Considering the times that we are living in, I suppose that this is nor surprising.
We can pray for God’s anointed President, Donald J Trump, to be restored to his rightful place. The fraudulent regime and all the accompanying evils most be exposed and overthrown.
