Beware of the Disinformation Campaign
From major news outlets to the U.S. State Department, we were warned that the 2020 election process would come with a mass disinformation campaign. Some said it would come from China, others said Russia would be the primary concern. Social media platforms were said to be the venue used to spread it. While we have all seen it, and may have fallen prey to it at times, it has now reached a fever pitch.
So what is disinformation exactly and why is it so concerning?
The definition of it from Webster’s Dictionary is, “False information which is intended to mislead, especially propaganda issued by a government organization to a rival power or the media.” Wikipedia has a lengthy discussion of it, giving an example as what we call “fake news.” While this term can make it sound somewhat frivolous, it is serious. Disinformation causes the public to not know the truth when they hear or see it. It breaks down trust and at times can trigger dangerous responses.
It is one thing when disinformation is used by intelligence agencies to track spies, which is a major form of its use. It is another when major news outlets engage in it to form a narrative and mold a mindset, which we have discussed here before. It is yet another level when it is poured out in a steady stream by media and private parties until the public can no longer find or discern the truth.
Some friends recently made us aware of proof exposing witches using disinformation to keep intercessors “busy.” If we become alarmed by the disinformation they feed us, we waste time and energy focusing our intercession on those fake concerns; that’s the goal. We become Don Quixote’s, waving our swords at windmills or otherwise wasting our intercession on things that are not real. This obviously keeps us from staying strategically focused on God’s assignments, allowing the enemy to advance while we waste our time!
Another concerning matter is the disinformation designed to promote violence is being generated. A leader of the Jericho Marches had to ask intercessors to stop praying around state capitals due to these. They were told the FBI discovered that armed groups are planning to go to the capitals sometime between now and just after the presidential inauguration on January 20th. Part of what is fueling the call to the state houses are fake videos said to be put out by President Trump calling individuals to take up arms and save the republic.
In one, clips of statements made by the President over the last 4 years have been doctored to sound like he is calling for violence. Every clip is taken out of context: statements made by the President over the years to North Korea, China, Russia, or Iran. Some of them came from his rallies, making it sound as if he is saying it now to motivate his supporters to take action against those that denied him the presidency.
In one clip in the video, He says, “There should be no fear. We shall be protected. We will be protected by God.” Then, over a backdrop of hope-filled American faces of male and female of every age and color, he goes on to commend the listeners for being “warriors for the truth.” He says they will be “the hope for humanity.” I purposefully did not add a link to this video, because I do not want to glorify it. It is dangerous. If you have seen it and let its content into your soul, get it out. Put down any thoughts of taking action based on this. It is demonically designed to cause harm to the President, this great nation, and you.
Sadly, some intercessors have been taken in by these efforts. We must take it up a notch and ask the Lord for a greater degree of discernment. At a minimum, we need to do a better job of fact-checking these reports. Ask yourself what the fruit of the information would be. Some things that make us susceptible to disinformation are: fear, worry, naivete, not fact-checking, wanting to be “in the know,” and idolatry of a person.
Now, a final word of caution. Disinformation is currently coming from many sources, from those that lean politically left, and to the right. It is coming from the national media, from foreign sources, and from “vloggers” seeking influence or even to sell survivalist products. In the case I detailed above, it is to cause dangerous uprisings. We must beware of all the methods, and resist them.
“Now the serpent was more cunning than any animal of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, ‘Has God really said, “You shall not eat from any tree of the garden?”’ The woman said to the serpent, ‘From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, “You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.”’ The serpent said to the woman, ‘You certainly will not die! For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will become like God, knowing good and evil.’ When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate; and she also gave some to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked.” (Genesis 3:1-7a; NASB)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
- Ask God to make us wise in this deluge of disinformation!
- Declare that the lying spirit Leviathan, which twists truth, will be ineffective.
- Intercede for the safety of America as we approach Inauguration Day on January 20th.
- Ask God to reveal and remove any weakness which makes you susceptible to disinformation.
- Intercede for fellow intercessors. Declare over us, “We will remain focused on the Lord our God. We will lean into Him and listen carefully to Holy Spirit. Him only will we serve!”
- Pray that intercessors will increase in discernment regarding natural information, and will hit the mark in intercession. The history of America will belong to the intercessors.
A prayer you can pray:
Father, protect us from the flood of disinformation pouring into America! It is coming at us from all sides. There are enemies of our nation that have realized they can move our hearts and emotions with disinformation. Well meaning intercessors have even formed prayer strategies from false information they are receiving. The lying snake, Leviathan, is twisting truth, using the same tactic he used on Adam and Eve in the Garden. Help us recognize what is happening, and stay on track! Lord, examine our hearts and remove any hooks the enemy might find to snare us in this plan. We must not be distracted. Keep us focused on Your assignments. We ask you for safety over our nation during this next week and through Inauguration Day on January 20th. We continue to believe and watch for Your miracles.
We pray for the President as he makes significant and weighty decisions regarding what is best for America. Lord, I feel he is weighing the cost versus the benefit of continuing the fight: of declassifying information, of exposing leaders here and abroad, of tearing down in order to restore and build. I know this deep in my spirit, Lord. Please give him wisdom, courage, proper perspective, and sound advice. Give him the ability to separate himself completely from reputation, legacy, and the opinion of man. Cause him to think only in terms of what he must do to save our Republic and to preserve our God-given destiny. Then make undeniably clear to him what this course of action is. In Christ’s name we ask, Amen.

Well, I understand what you are saying, however, I don’t. You ask us to fast-check what we read????if the information could be false or truth, what good would fast checking prove what is true or false. They could just lie about that. There are a lot of good points out there, but I’ll just sit in my house in my chair and wait and see what the Lord comes up with. I don’t have to fast-check Him. I feel like whatever comes from the left is either a lie or evil. If God and Trump don’t come up with a plan, everything they have don’t in the past is mute. It is going to change our world, yes not just the USA BUT THE WORLD.

Father let the evil video mentioned in this article be of no effect, let the maker of the video be caught, convict that person in a way only your Holy Spirit can for this crime against our president and our nation. Kim Clement spoke a prophecy where he said that the different media outlets would begin speaking the words God wanted them to speak. I think it was in the “Trump is a trumpet” prophecy. I’ve been praying into this, noting how Biden actually spoke the truth in the video where he was bragging about withholding money from Ukraine unless they fired the Burisma investigator. I’ve been praying that Kim’s prophecy would begin to happen now, where the liars have lied so much that they fail to remember what was said and begin to fumble out with truthful statements and it would become so evident that it can not be covered up or edited out.
Be careful of fact-checkers (Snopes. com etc.) that just rubber stamp the lies of the Left. I actually don’t know a fact checker I can recommend. I have heard that some of these sources are owned by the Chinese Communist Party. FactCheck.com called me when Obama was Senator in Illinois, to check on the claim that abortion survivor Gianna Jessen had really been born alive during a late-term abortion. She had. I wrote a book about her. I told them it was true and gave them 2 primary documents, one signed by the abortionist. They turned around and published the opposite, that the claim was false. I didn’t know FactCheck.com was part of Obama’s PR arm. (Gianna vs. Obama on hiddeninjesus.wordpress(dot)com). Sometimes these sources mark things “false” and “discredited” so fast you know they haven’t had time to check them at all. They don’t have to, if they’re making up the ansswers.
Lord please help people to turn towards You and away from disinformation. We need You Lord and Your help to be more like Your Holy Son Jesus. Help us to be wise,strong and courageous. Amen.

I just found Dutch Sheets about half way through his “Give Him 15”. I watch everyday and am so thankful for someone who is calm and confident in presenting what we need to hear. I don’t watch news and have felt overwhelmed on social media about who and what to believe, so I will just leave it alone and seek the face of God and His Word. I pray for discernment right now, emotions are very high and need to be tempered with Holy Spirit controlled people. We continue to pray and believe.

Thank you Julie, it is good to know that there are others who want to speak for those that have no voice, unborn babies in this country. Read Proverbs 6: 16-17 and Proverbs 24: 11-12. Yes, God gave us a courageous, strong leader in President Trump who spoke up for the babies and I am saddened by the attacks on this man, but our God is good and He wants us ( the church) to cry out to Him, to repent and plead for His mercy. Apparently you did not take this article to heart. Disinformation is on ALL sides. There are at least 2 Covid vaccines that do not use fetal tissue. Even the ones that do are from the 1960’s and 1970’s. The babies were aborted because of the mother’s choice – independent of what became of their tissues. One of the babies was aborted because both the mother and baby had contracted Rubella. Not a viable pregnancy. To eschew all vaccines because of what happened 50 years ago creates another ethical dilemma. Now that there are “clean” vaccines available there is no reason to keep harping on this. I wish we had moved away from fetal tissue a long time ago, most of us were not even aware of having used some of them. The important thing to remember is no new babies are being aborted to make vaccines with. Maybe God in His mercy allowed some good to come from those little lives – only God can bring good out of evil. I am NOT saying the ends justify the means – abortion is wrong, but maybe not unredeemable. Stop scaring people!

Yes, abortion is ALWAYS WRONG — it is the intentional killing of an innocent human being. I will not be taking any injection that has been complicit with aborted fetal cells, even in its testing. Please also do research — the “vaccines” (in reality merely injections) will only reduce the symptoms if one contracts Covid 19. It will not eliminate one contracting Covid.

I was most encouraged by the encouragement to continue as intercessors, not to give up the good fight. Lord Jesus, You know what is going on in the natural here in America. By the power of Holy Spirit, we seek your guidance and wisdom. Please reveal truth to us in this deluge of disinformation. We bind the Leviathan spirit that is attempting to steal our country’s soul. I have just found this. It’s awesome. I see where I can pray more intent about certain things. God has helped me through so many things. So my praise goes to HIM. I just need to remember to stay in the word more daily and in prayer for our nation and it’s leaders, and the USA. It’s a habit I want to do from now on.

I have all but hidden the TV remote. I believe it’s been used to stir up strife, discontent, and more division in the land. This is the work of the devil. Divide and conquer. The media is evil, by nature. The only programming I’ll be watching will be Christian and I will use discernment by reading God’s word.
This is a wonderful idea- especially where the news media is concerned. Fasting from the tv news has been important to me. I need to get back to it, and will, starting today. I confess that I watched the impeachment proceedings- what a load of crap!

I believe an additional reason for the disinformation is to discredit the new news vehicles the Lord is raising up. People who no longer trust the propaganda media are seeking more trustworthy news. The devil wants us to discredit ourselves with lies he advances. If we take the bait this would be a deterrent to the new news vehicles the Lord is raising up. Thomas Jefferson once said that those who do not read the newspapers are better informed than those who do.
Lord Jesus, take down the giants of deception, disinformation, and mind control. I pray that you will silence the lies and speak clearly to your people and the nation. Disrupt the narrative of the wicked. May Americans begin to turn to the bible for their daily inoculation against the strategies of the enemy, so that when we hear the lies we will know them. Your word is living and active and a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, so use it to filter out the lies that would otherwise faze us. Lord, make us the head and not the tail, above and not below, lender and not the borrower. Father God, I pray please give us discernment and open the eyes and ears of our hearts that we may hear Your voice and instruction for us. I pray that we pay attention as we read scripture that Your Holy Spirit will reveal to us what Your Word is saying. Protect us from the disinformation that is pouring into America! **I would like to thank the man and the ladies on the IFA prayer line last night who explained about the “Joni Lamb Table Talk” episodes and how it relates to yesterday’s events.
My prayer is the voice of the media will be silenced. That they can no longer intimidate by lies and control the destiny of our nation. This article surely makes us aware, that we must be still before God and listen to His Words. Let us not listen to so many voices, we can’t hear Him. Lord, let us be on guard and have sensitve ears to hear what you are saying.
This is very good information. I’ve been praying for all the evil be exposed. I’ve been praying for President Trump, and his family. After the impeachment of him, I’m very disappointed with all the democrats and some republicans, and this word helps .
“Disinformation” is another word for “lies”

Father God,
You have exposed the jezebel spirit in this nation. The vile hatred on display in Congress as they voted to impeach the President obviously reveals the murdering spirit of jezebel. This spirit is a hater of God, lover of child sacrifice and has a desire for power, allowing nothing to stand in it’s destructive way.
LORD God, now is not the time for Your church to lose heart. Now is not the time for our faith to fail. Now is the time for Your intercessors, who, in the midst of what looks like an impossible situation, still believes that there is a God mighty to save this nation and restore the covenant of our forefathers.
Let us not be distracted. By the power of Your Holy Spirit we will keep our eyes on You.
There is power in the name of Jesus. It is in the mighty Name and authority of Jesus, through the power of Your Holy Spirit, we appeal to heaven that the spirit demon spirit of jezebel be bound and rendered defenseless.

I think he is stating the obvious. President Trump has been bravely calling it out throughout his term. The bit about the witches is quite creepy. Greater is He that is in us! God forbid that His people would engage in disinformation of any sort to promote their beliefs in any way! And YES! WE NEED EXTRA DISCERNMENT THESE DAYS ESPECIALLY. Thank you for this reminder. It reminds me to put on the Armor of the Lord daily (Ephesians 6:10-17.) For intercessors to be equipped for God’s battles (Psalm 28:28-45) Pray that corrupt leaders will see the evil of their ways and repent.
(2 Chronicles 7:14)- Pray for revival in our Churches and Spiritual Awakening in the Nation.
If God wills He will remove the corrupt leaders and their evil deeds exposed. (2 Peter 3:9)
For me keeping the basic prayer needs center and when called by the Lord do Warfare. May we not grow weary, lose faith and strengthen our trust knowing God is more than able, The battle belongs to the Lord, The Joy of the Lord is our Strength, our mission is The great Commission(Matthew 28:19-20).

My dad was in the hospital (stage 4 kidney failure…but by the stripes of Jesus those kidneys will come back to LIFE for the LIVING WATER IS SPRINGING UP IN HIM TO EVERLASTING LIFE…LIFE IS ON HIS SIDE!!) Anyway, he has been telling me for quite some time he could feel God’s presence and was much at peace. That is prayers he is feeling. The roommate (Moses no less) he had when he got there left the day before him but before he left he and his daughter stopped at dad’s bed and prayed for him. Then yesterday, before he was released, my sister who was with him and me being on the phone with him, joined together and prayed for him on speaker phone and also prayed for his new roommate. We prayed for angels to come watch over them and for miracles and called for peace and for new kidneys. Dad’s roommate thanked us. Then my sister texted me a little bit later to tell me that dad was being released because he is consistently showing improvement. In the mean time Harrison, dad’s new roommate read a prayer that his daughter had texted to him for him and also for dad. Are we getting a picture here? The most amazing thing to me was all of the prayers one for the other. A prayer revival is happening in the hospital kidney wing. Even those who are not necessarily “religious” can still be God Fearing and will reverence prayer, especially made for them.
My message is KEEP PRAYING and if you haven’t done it yet…pray in your closet, in the secret place…GOD ALWAYS MEETS US THERE!!!

MaryLee, you cannot prove a thing, nor do you need to. I too have disbelieving family, who I love dearly and pray over daily! If you take care of your relationship with the Lord, He will take care of your family. I heard that years ago in a sermon, it seems right at this moment.
